Bobby Lashley is in the ring and he tells Brock Lesnar to come to the ring so they can fight about it.
Brock’s music plays and he eventually comes through the entrance but he stops there.
Brock takes too long to get to the ring so Bobby goes to the floor. Lesnar sends Bobby into the apron and ring post. Brock gets Bobby on his shoulders but Lashley escapes and sends Brock into the ring post. Bobby spears Lesnar through the horribly constructed ringside barrier in front of the time keeper’s area.
Officials and wrestlers escort Lashley away from Lesnar and they hold their arms up to stop him. Lashley escapes and he spears Lesnar onto the announce table. Lashley gives Lesnar a spinebuster through the table.
More people get between Bobby and Brock and hold their arms like like Bobby was in Jurassic World.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of Brock and Bobby’s battle between behemoths.
We see what is left of the ringside area near the announce table.
Match Number One: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (with AJ Styles) versus Chad Gable and Otis
Gable and Anderson start things off and Anderson with a waist lock but Gable with a wrist lock. Karl with a reversal and Gable with a side head lock take down. Gable with a shoulder tackle. Karl with a hip toss and clothesline followed by a chop. Anderson with a back elbow. Gable is sent into the turnbuckles and Gallows tags in. Otis tags in. Gallows with punches and Otis with a knee and forearm to the back. Otis misses a splash and Gallows with an elbow into the corner. Gallows with Peek-a-Boo uppercuts. Otis with an elbow to Gallows but Gallows with a boot after Otis turns his attention to Anderson.
Karl tags in and he connects with uppercuts to Otis. Gable with a knee to the back and Anderson with a punch. Otis with a splash to the back. Gable with a Harley Race knee that sends Anderson into the ring post.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Otis with a clothesline in the corner to Anderson and then he goes to the turnbuckles for a Vader Bomb but Karl moves. Gallows and Gable tag in and Gallows with clotheslines and an uppercut. Gallows with a running hip into the corner followed by a flying forearm and round kick. Gallows with a thrust kick to send Otis to the floor. Gallows with a twisting side slam. Anderson tags in and they set for Magic Killer but Otis breaks it up. Otis sends Gallows to the floor. Gable with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.
Otis misses a splash against the ring steps when he misses Gallows. Gable goes up top and misses a moonsault but Gable grabs the ankle for an ankle lock. Anderson kicks Gable away and hits a spinebuster. Gallows tags in and they hit Magic Killer for the three count.
Winners: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
After the match, THE Judgment Day’s music plays and Finn Balor mentions Too Sweet. He says the same old crap and no one has seen that before. Priest says we have never seen this before. You thought you accomplished something last week. Priest says the only thing you accomplished last week is guaranteeing getting cooked by THE Judgment Day.
Finn says he started this stupid little club. I made you guys and I will break you guys. We are here to challenge you clowns to a match. It is not going to be tonight. It will take place at Crown Jewel.
AJ takes a mic and he says they accept. AJ says he cannot understand why everyone does this. This is Monday Night Raw. You are standing right there, we are in the ring. Let’s do this right here and right now. Unless you have to ask your mother for permission.
Dominik tells AJ to shut his mouth. Unless you want to be like his dad and run over to the other brand with your tail between your legs because cannot hang with THE Judgment Day.
AJ says Dom is cool and bad as long as he is standing by them. AJ calls Dominik a piece of trash. You turned your back on your father. If you want to run your mouth, how about we do something different tonight. You want to talk the talk, but can you walk the walk. You come to the ring and we can handle business.
Rhea says that Dominik will rip AJ limb from limb.
Dominik says he will wipe the floor with AJ and rip him limb from limb.
AJ tells Dom to come to the ring.
Dom says he isn’t ready right now. When he is ready, he will mop the floor with him, in about an hour or so.
AJ tells Dom to get in his gear, stretch, and drink some water. He says he will do something his father should have done and that is beat the piss out of you. That will be Too Sweet.
We are back with a look at what happened last week when Seth Rollins took advantage of Bobby Lashley’s pride and injured arm to win the United States Championship.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring as only Seth Rollins can.
Seth welcomes everyone. He reminds us who he is. He mentions that he is the NEW United States Champion. Seth says for all of you out there who doubt him or the haters out there or stopped believing in him, you can kiss his big, red, beautiful behinds. For all of you who have always had his back and never counted him out, do what you have done and sing his song. Seth cackles. He says tonight is the first defense in what will become the greatest US Championship run of all time. In the main event tonight, he will wipe this mat with Matt Riddle’s face. In doing so, I will clear up the miscommunication that was Extreme Rules.
He says he may have tapped out when Riddle had him in the triangle sleeper, but that was a strategic move. I did that for you because two days later, I had to come to Raw and be in the best possible condition to beat Bobby Lashley to become the new US Champion.
Mustafa Ali’s music interrupts.
Ali congratulates Seth on winning the US Title. He says he was waiting for Seth to give a shout out to Brock for the assist. If you won’t mention it, he won’t. Bobby Lashley promised him he was the next in line. Ali says he gets it that things change and champions change. Ali says his challenge remains the same. Ali says he wants to fight Rollins and he wants to fight for that championship.
Rollins cackles and he asks Ali does he look like Bobby Lashley. He tells Ali that he will have to get to the back of the line since he has to focus on Riddle. Ali has two options. He can party with everyone out here, or he can skedaddle out of Seth’s ring. You do not belong in this ring with him.
Seth cackles and Ali removes Seth’s sunglasses and tosses them away.
Ali says it is not going down that way. Ali says you are staring at your next freaking problem. I am not going anywhere and I am not backing down.
Seth says he appreciates what Ali is trying to do and Seth says he likes Ali. He has a lot of respect for Ali. He is one of the best performers in WWE, but you are a better human being. He says he sees what Ali does in the back with the young guys. He is a great friend and father . . .
Rollins punches Ali and then sends him to the floor.
Seth walks to the floor and says problem solved. Ali attacks Seth from behind and sends him into the ringside barrier. Rollins punches Ali and sends him into the ring post.
We see a limo with horns and Kevin is shocked who the man in the vehicle with a JBL license plate is.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai (with Bayley) versus Candice LeRae and Bianca Belair in a Non Title Match
Iyo and Candice start things off and Iyo with forearms. Candice and Iyo roll over each other and punch each other. Candice with arm drags and a head scissors take down. Bianca tags in and hits a handspring moonsault for a near fall. Iyo escapes a slam and Dakota tags in. Bianca with a waist lock and Dakota with a side head lock. Bianca with a shoulder tackle. Dakota with forearms and a front face lock. Iyo tags in and they go for a double suplex but Bianca lands on her feet and Candice tags in. They hit a double drop kick. Bianca gets Candice on her shoulders and swings Candice to kick Dakota and Iyo. Candice with a baseball slide to Iyo and then Bianca drops Dakota over the top rope to the floor. Candice with a springboard cross body onto Dakota and Iyo on the floor.
