Former WWE and ECW star Mike Bucci aka Nova and Simon Dean will have his final pro wrestling match on Saturday 12/3 in his hometown of Toms River, New Jersey at the Stand Alone Wrestling "Contest of Champions" event at the 3,200 seat RWJBarnabas Health Arena.
Bucci's final match will be a six man tag with himself, Aron Stevens and a partner to be named against Matt Cardona, Brian Myers and a partner to be named. The storyline is that Cardona and Myers issued the challenge, seeking to ruin Bucci's final match by mockingly "giving him the rub." Stevens, the Godfather of Bucci's daughter, stepped up to join Bucci. The final partners will be named in the weeks to come.
Sting, Jerry Lawler, Sgt. Slaughter, Eddie Edwards, Francine, Frankie Kazarian, Nick Aldis, Gillberg, Tommy Dreamer, Davey Richards, Rik Ratchet and more are also scheduled for the event.
There will be a Fanfest kicking off at 4 PM with a live event at 8 PM.
