Deadline.com is announcing that Comcast is once again shutting down G4, just under a year after bringing the gaming-centric network back from the dead. According to their report, the decision was made that there wasn't enough interest in the revived version of the network.
G4 returned in November 2021 with WWE's Xavier Woods as one of the hosts of the programming.
WWE and G4 collaborated on a recurring series WWE x G4's The Arena featuring WWE stars interacting with gaming personalities in competition. Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Big E, The Street Profits and more appeared on the episodes that had been released online and on G4 thus far.
The initial incarnation of G4 was on air from 2002 - 2014.
