Frankie Kazarian, who won the Impact Wrestling X-Division Championship last week at the Bound for Glory PPV, announced at the end of Impact on AXS that he was invoking "Option C", relinquishing the championship in order for a matc against Impact Wrestling Champion Josh Alexander.
That match will happen at the Impact Wrestling Overdrive PPV next month in Louisville, Kentucky.
The X-Division Championship will be filled via a tournament in the weeks to come, commencing at next Friday and Saturday's TV tapings in Las Vegas at Samstown Casino.
