A few legal related notes based on emails from readers:
In regard to former WWE NXT star Patrick "The Velveteen Dream" Clark's arrest last month, he plead guilty to violating his probation and was sentenced to the 25 days served in jail. That criminal charge is now resolved. The assault charge that was arrested for after an incident in an Orlando gym is not being pursued, as we previously reported. Clark still remains on probation for his previous November 2021 arrest by The Alamonte Springs Police Department and charged with with possession of cocaine, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, destroying/altering/concealing physical evidence and having no lamps/illuminating devices in his vehicle.
The Randy Orton-WWE 2K tattoo lawsuit was closed on 10/3 after the jury trial verdict in favor of tattoo artist Catherine Adams. There does not appear to be any additional movement on that front.
There has been no court ruling on whether the MLW vs. WWE lawsuit will be dismissed as WWE has argued for.
All of the recent lawsuits Amazon.com and WWE have filed against counterfeit WWE Championship replica sellers have been consolidated into one suit.
