BRAY WYATT UPDATE, WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXCELLENT BROCK RETURN, GOOD BROTHERS, LOGAN VS. ROMAN AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-10-11 17:04:00

Going forward, Bray Wyatt is currently only slated for appearances on the Smackdown brand, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

If you liked the excellent Brock Lesnar return and the Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins bout that followed it, Adam Pearce was the producer for those segments.  While he's been off TV since the Ronda Rousey segment several weeks ago on Smackdown, but has been working as one of the lead producers for Raw and Smackdown.  Lesnar was covertly flown into NYC the day of the taping and hidden until Raw began.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will be on the Raw brand going forward.  There are some who see New Japan Pro Wrestling plugging their WWE return on NJPW's social media as a sign the two companies were working together.  I don't believe that to be the case, but as we've seen in 2022, anything can happen.  My gut is that NJPW needs Anderson, the current NEVER Openweight Champion to return and that ignoring the WWE return served no purpose.

Michael Hayes is heading up the Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul storyline and match, although obviously Paul Heyman will have insight and a voice in the process, as will Roman.  As we noted yesterday, Drew Gulak and Shane Helms have been working with Paul in the ring.

Sam Roberts was backstage at Raw last night.

Talia'uli Latukefu, who played Dwayne Johnson on Young Rock, was also visiting at the show and was shown on camera.
