By Kendall Jenkins on 2022-10-10 10:59:00

Do you tick either of these two boxes? A fan of WWE? A lesbian seeking a partner? Why not combine these twin passions by going online? After signing up for a website for lesbians, you can start flirting with potential partners. There are discreet communication channels that make it easy to exchange messages. Chat rooms where you can make a variety of new friends. And blogs providing background info. All you need now is the confidence to introduce yourself to strangers. How about some conversational ice-breakers – such as chatting about the top five female WWE stars who are also LGBTQ-oriented?

Sonya Deville

Sonya is not someone to be messed with. As well as being signed to WWE, the New Jersey-born woman is also a proficient exponent of mixed martial arts. Rising to fame as a fighter in the mid-2010s, she finished a respectable 11th in the 2015 season of WWE Tough Enough. She has since progressed to the main WWE roster and was eventually drafted into the SmackDown brand. She became known as the first WWE wrestler to perform who was openly gay, coming out during her spell in the Tough Enough competition. Currently, she is in a relationship with the model Toni Cassano.

Shayna Baszler

From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Baszler is a formidable opponent, having mastered pro wrestling, mixed martial arts, and kickboxing. Staging her first MMA fight back in 2006, she gained fame for her use of the potent hammerlock submission to achieve victory. Where her WWE wrestling is concerned, she has gone on to face off with various rivals, coming close to success in the SmackDown Women's Championship at Clash at the Castle live-streaming event. A notable fan of the science fantasy Warhammer series, she has been known to incorporate aspects of this series in her striking stage costumes.

Tegan Nox

Born Steffanie Newell in Wales in 1994, this promising young fighter performed as Tegan Nox during her time with WWE. She made her first inroads into wrestling on the British independent circuit. She has stated that her stage name of Tegan Nox is a nod to her Welsh ancestry, and also her love of the Harry Potter books and films. In an episode of WWE’s The Bump, this talented Welsh performer made the frank admission that she is proudly bisexual.

Asuka/Veny (not WWE Asuka)

Hailing from Yokohama, Japan's second-largest city, Asuka is a prominent wrestler who also identifies as trans. The reason for that double handle is that there's already a prominent Japanese wrestler on the WWE circuit named Asuka, so they have adopted Veny as their ring name. At 23, Veny clearly has a lot of exciting wrestling ahead and has already teamed up with other Joshi exponents to keep their fans entertained. After losing to Emi Sakura in the AEW Women's World Title Eliminator Tournament, they are ready to have another stab at achieving this crown in future.

Mercedes Martinez

Born Jasmin Benitez in Connecticut, USA, Mercedes is a multi-tattooed fighter currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. With multiple awards under her belt, her accolades include having been the Phoenix of Rise Champion. Away from entertaining her legions of fans in the ring, Mercedes was married and became the mother to a boy back in 2009. But 10 years later, during an interview with NowThis News, she came out as a lesbian. A veteran of almost two decades, including a spell with the WWE roster, Mercedes is both proud of her sexuality, and even more so for being a loving mom.
