I interviewed Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, discussing the 10/7 Bound for Glory PPV in Albany. NY with Grace noting that she has one hell of a goal for her title defense against Masha Slamovich.
Grace, when asked about the BFG main event bout, noted, "You said it best when you said that I kind of grew up in Impact. I've been wrestling for 12 years. I've been in Impact before, but I've grown more in these four years and in any of the other time over the rest of my career. I feel like all of the work that I've put in and, you know, all the bumps and bruises that I've taken to, to get to this point, [this match is] really huge for me, and it's one of the reasons that I think that I've put in so much work just the past few months, knowing that this match is gonna happen is because I, I wanna look the best. My goal was to have one of the best Knockout matches in history next Friday. So I'm just, I'm really ready for this."
When I noted she was putting massive pressure on herself and the match, Grace responded, "They say shoot for the stars, right?"
Impact BFG takes place next Friday 10/7 on FITE.TV, PPV and more.
