AEW’S NEVER-ENDING INVESTIGATION, THE CAUSE OF BACKSTAGE PROBLEMS IN AEW, THE ONE THING THAT COULD END AEW AND MORE

First Eddie Kingston then Andrade. Is the real problem Sammy Guevara? He's been in two separate altercations with two different wrestlers, is he the problem and TK just loves him? Also why was Andrade sent home but not Sammy?

I think Sammy, if not the real problem, is certainly a big problem.  The immature way he attacked Andrade on social media was what escalated the situation.  He came off as a child to me.  He should have been sent home but he’s Tony’s buddy.

We have not heard anything new from Vince McMahon. What is the status of the Investigation?

WWE stated in August that it is “substantially complete”.

What's the Deal with all those Backstage Problems in AEW? First it was Punk, the Bucks and Omega, now Andrade and Sammy. Is AEW destroying itself from the inside?

It’s bad management by Tony Khan in my opinion.  You never hear any of these problems in WWE.  Or Impact even.

Is it fair to say that AEW’s investigation is the same as Byte This hiatus?

You popped me with that one.  Not quite but if they can't find out what happened in one room over a few minute period more than a month later, it's really lame in my opinion.  It isn't like there are dozens of witnesses to interview or backstories to flesh out.  I am really starting to wonder if the idea is to just let it linger and and allow the inaction to be the action.  I hope that isn't the case.

So, now that I'm done buttering you up…I know you guys hate to speculate on things like this, but assume you have a proverbial "gun to the head" of "A night locked in a room with Vince Russo listening to him pitch storyline ideas" and have no choice but to answer yes/no or.. Suffer the consequences...Do you think AEW still exists 3 years from now? 5 years from now? I know the easy answer is "it will go on for as long as Tony Khan is willing to put his family's money into it" but... Surely his father can't be seeing all this turmoil and bad press (and potential lawsuits) coming out of his Son's little pet fantasy booking project, and not be starting to wonder what exactly all those advances on his Inheritance are being spent on and what exactly the long term plan to make it a profitable venture is.  He didn't get to be a billionaire by being an idiot, or letting family ties cloud his business judgement. There has to be some point where he might say "enough is enough" and cut the cord.

I think as long as it has a chance to grow and become really successful, Shad will not pull any plugs while they have the chance to grow the company.  I think if it were to lose it’s TV deal, which is by far its main source of income, and it can’t find one that’s comparable, the clock starts ticking then.
