Match 1: The Church of Greatness (Brother Greatness & The Even Stevens) vs Wasted Youth (Marcus Mathers, Reid Walker & Austin Luke)
We dumped sand in Brother Greatness’ basket tonight. It was a souvenir from Paddy’s Beach Club since the Church hates to work on Sunday. Anyways, Azure works a lot of the opening minutes, weathering the early storm. BG really trying to get that catchphrase in and Mathers just gut punches him. Tag to Reid, flying double forearm to the Stevens! German on Azure! Luke looking down and Reid gets rammed into him on the apron. Azure with the rollup and traps the legs for the three! Mathers is in shock at the loss but Austin Luke double legs Reid. Mathers grabs the mic and talks his partners down from the ledge. They need to figure their s*** out and they are going to have a match at Wrestling Open’s trip to New Jersey on 10/22 to do it. Reid offers a hand but Luke just rolls out and walks off.
Winners: The Church of Greatness
I just don’t get it, we gave him cool new merch, ways to protect his hands while counting donation money, bricks to help build a church & even a souvenir from a show he couldn’t be at! It’s like @bgreatness2012 doesn’t appreciate us. We’ll have to keep trying. ????#WrestlingOpen

Match 2: “La Chica” Clara Carreras vs Tina San Antonio
Tina coming in hard to put the smaller Clara away but almost gets backdoored on the cradle. Cross body caught and Tina drops a gut buster. Whips and knees to the gut. Tina is working that mid section. Clara trying to come back or go down swinging, Tina makes her eat buckles. Corner spears. Clara is crying in agony but still kicking out. Clara firing back up and hits a shoulder tackle in the corner! Hip attack! Cross body for two! Tina has her up in a fireman’s carry, Clara throws a hard elbow and crucifixes Tina for the win! This might have been Clara’s best match to date. Really good to see Tina San Antonio back in Worcester.
Winner: Clara Carreras

Match 3: The Greek Ninja & Markellos Komninos vs Shook Crew (Bryce Donovan & Bobby Orlando w/ Bobby Junior)
Mom and Markellos kick this off but Greek Ninja gets tagged right in. Donovan in to get a piece of the action with a springboard flying forearm. Spears to Ninja! Sick trick dropkick! Markellos with a distraction lets Ninja blindside Bobby. Markellos finally tags in and starts to beat on Orlando. Ninja back in and messes up the advantage, Bobby with a cutter! Tag! Markellos doesn’t want to engage with this. Pop up powerbomb. Bryce doesn’t get caught in a distraction and black hole slams Ninja. Shook gets their hands in Markellos. Hard chops, AA! Markellos is out! Virtue Signal on Ninja for the win! This was really good!
Winners: Shook Crew

Bryce wants the stick. Who be the crew that we love? Bryce talks up the one year mark of pro wrestling at Worcester. He reminds us that a year ago, they rolled with Aaron Rourke. They are CURRENTLY upset with Rourke after his actions against Fancy Ryan Clancy last week. If the Dimepiece wants a fight, Shook Crew is waiting.
Take it in. #WrestlingOpen pic.twitter.com/cb2CIpJVst

Match 4: Ray Jaz vs Corey Dillinger
Dillinger has a significant size advantage on Jaz but I’m sure his tip was something like “The bigger they are, the easier it is for them to squash Ray Jaz into a flat patty”. This seems to be holding until Jaz launches himself and chokes Corey off the top. Jaz with a high crossbody…Caught! Fallaway slam! Jaz dodges and Dillinger misses a big boot into the corner. Oh noooooooo. Jaz kicks out the leg and stomps at it mercilessly. He traps the leg and slaps at the back of the head. Tackle to the knee…Corey pops him up and drops him!!! Dillinger throwing hard punches but his leg is barely holding him. Jaz slips a fireman’s carry and applied the Jazmission. He did enough work on that leg and Dillinger is forced to tap. Boooooooooooo! Really good showing from Dillinger, who gets the Please Come Back from Worcester tonight.
Winner: Ray Jaz

Match 5: Percy Ryan vs CPA
Percy Ryan thinks he can wear a shirt like CPA. He can’t. CPA on fire but Ryan cutters it off. Ryan mocking but CPA lands a hard chop to the gut. Ryan stomps him out, applies a sleeper…CPA fights it off! Percy with a double stomp out of the corner! Ryan with a mocking overshoot but almost lays for it with a rollup. Step up kick to the forehead! Superplex! CPA kicks out! Suplex into the buckles! Both are down! The crowd willing CPA back to his feet! He catches Ryan and bombs him out of the corner! Rip off another shirt! Dropkick off the top! Form 619! Kick out! It’s time crunch some numbers…Percy fights it off…he tries a rollup with a hand of tights. Kick to the back of the head! Super close two! Percy comes running, CPA catches him. Crunch the Numbers! CPA wins in a surprising barnburner.
Winner: CPA

Match 6: Bear Boulder vs Rex Lawless
A battle of powerful big men!! Early minutes of testing their chests. Boulder with a knee to the gut. They want to toss each other but can’t do that signature spot on each other. Rex manages to hip toss Boulder over the ropes but a bull charge on the floor doesn’t go his way and he eats the apron. Boulder using the chance to lay in some hard kicks and stomps. Moonsault misses! Rex with a flying body tackle! Code breaker! Rex slams him! Kick out! Rex throwing big boots! Boulder fights off the chokebomb! Boulder cross body! He tries the moonsault again but Rex catches him up there….Boulder with a back elbow to Rex’s eye! It’s just a target, huh? Rex dropped hard off the buckles, Boulder hits a Vader splash for the win! Rex needs to protect that eye more…
Winner: Bear Boulder

BRG had one of the most impassioned speeches Open has ever seen. And he didn’t hide when he said it all.

Take a look back at what led to his match with Tyree Taylor TONIGHT!#WrestlingOpen pic.twitter.com/wjgwUfyN8F
Match 7: “The Victorious BRG” Brett Ryan Gosselin (w/ his trusty steed Clip Clop) vs Tyree Taylor
Last week’s promo between these two was absolute magic. Let’s see if they can back these words up. BRG wants this fight A LOT. Steven Stetson is nowhere in sight…for now? Tyree is unimpressed with Clip Clop but BRG comes in hard. This kid will break his forearm on Tyree’s damn head. Tyree with a back drop reversal and starts to unload some huge chops and tosses. BRG looking defiant in the face of this beating. BRG Torpedos into Tyree’s knee! BRG stomping at the knee and ankle, it’s his only hope! Gosselin is starting to taunt the crowd but he’s able to stay on the leg, wrapping up Tyree in a deathlock. It’s too close to Tyree’s chopping arm though and he gets slapped out of it. Tyree kicks off, BRG eats buckle….Tyree’s leg won’t let him charge…..superkick from BRG! He tries the killswitch…Tyree with a falcon arrow! Kick out! Uranage! Kick out! BRG with a Diamond dust?!? Tyree kicks out! BRG tries the killswitch again, Tyree pushes off! Huge lariat! BRG kicks out! Gosselin is very Can’t Stop Won’t Stop but can barely stand. Tyree takes the chance to snatch him up and blast the Brooklyn Zoo for the win! Great match here! These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a coming out party for BRG and I am HERE FOR THIS NEW ATTITUDE.

Main Event 1: “The Prize” Alec Price vs Dan Barry
Their first clash was an instant classic, can Dan Barry get it done with a second shot at the Prize? Did Price just throw out his shoulder during his entrance? He’s nursing that limb for sure. And he’s got it taped…uh oh. Dan notices it immediately and the vet knows what to do. They take a nap on the top rope. Lockup, scrambling back and forth on holds. Dan drops a knee on that shoulder, here we go. Dan is twisting up Price with his usual confidence but almost eats a rollup. Test of strength, Barry twists it up and throws elbows in the grip. Price takes the legs out…slingshot legdrop bounces Dan’s face off the mat. Fighting on the floor, Dan Barry tripped up into a tree of woe but he crotches Price on the top rope….spider back drop! Price tries a rollup again but Barry just tosses him up and over, letting Price land hard facefirst. Dan Barry pops Price up into a modified dragon sleeper, that was a sick sequence. Hip toss neckbreaker! Price kicks out! The Northeast Beats firing up! High flying leg lariat for two! Price and Barry trading punches! Alec springs off the ropes with a clothesline…double down! Price sent to the floor…Barry tries a moonsault but Orice kicks out the legs. He’s trapped in the ropes! Hangman’s double stomp to the apron! Price comes flying over the top! High cross body but Price eats knees! Suplex powerbomb for two! Price dodges the swanton, block bustah! Suprize kick! Dan Barry kicks out! Price unloading those running knees. Barry back drops Price out to the floor! Plancha! Barry going for moonsault and battery again! Price out, misses the Suprize kick but runs up the ropes and hits a high angle block bustah for the win! This was awesome. We knew it would be. Awesome Nevertheless.
Winner: Alec Price

We’ve heard a LOT from Pedro Dones & Mane Event heading into tonight’s HUGE match.
— Wrestling Open (@WrestlingOpen) October 6, 2022
Let’s take a look back at what Dustin Flash Waller had to say on behalf of the Miracle Ones!#WrestlingOpen pic.twitter.com/UYnYVjupds
Main Event 2: Pedro Dones & The Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black) vs Miracle Ones (Dustin Waller, Kylon King & Ichiban)
Pedro Dones has things to say. Mostly about calling his SHOT. They’re coming for their opponents HEADS. Miracle Ones aren’t partying with the crowd tonight, they charge in and this is a huge brawl around the world famous White Eagle. Several minutes of hard shots around the ring, chops cracking like gun shots. Miracle sent into the chairs but they lie in wait…triple dive to the circus clowns. Midas grabs the face mask of Ichiban and rams him into the post! Midas blasts him with his cane! The ref is calling for help as Lyon and Dones unload on Dustin and Kylon. Ichiban can’t see and he’s being taken to the back. The bell finally rings! We basically have a 3-on-2 handicap match at this point. Dustin is eating a ton of damage from Dones while Mane Event taunts the crowd. Dustin with a desperate superkick to the gut! Tag to Kylon and he goes nuts on Mane Event! High angle Germans! Double northern lights for two! Mane Event back with a Double stomp to a running knee snake eyes! Dustin trying to get back into it, Lyon catches a rana but Dustin escapes a bomb off the ropes. DVD to the apron! Midas caught with a wheelbarrow stunner to a German! Pedro tries to get order back but gets clotheslined out! Miracle Generation with the double dive! They walking Dones down, who is trying to crawl away. Dones begging off. Miracle teeing off with kicks and chops. Double head kick! Kylon wants the pin but Dustin wants more. Was this a mistake?!? They go for the power plex but Mane Event is back in it! Kylon powerbombed! Dustin eats a Grand Finale! Kylon picked up by Dones and they hit a triple assist tombstone to get the win. They called the shot. They came for the head. What a statement!

But they have some news for Austin Luke…his match With Reid will have a special referee….and that referee will be Marcus Mathers! Wow. What a stacked and packed episode tonight! Just watch this whole thing, everything was fun tonight. The double main event delivered hard but everyone worked their butts off tonight to deliver a monster show. See you next Thursday!
