During a company wide Zoom Call, today Warner Bros. Discovery Pres. & CEO David Zaslav dispelled rumors of a rumored Comcast merger happening in 2024.
“We are not for sale, absolutely, not for sale. We have the strongest hand in the industry,” Zaslav told employees, according to Deadline.com. “We have everything we need to be successful to be the biggest entertainment media company in the world.”
Such a merger would have ramifications on professional wrestling given WBD features AEW programming and NBC Universal, owned by Comcast, carries WWE programming.
