9/23/22 - FITE.TV
Countdown to Victory Road:
Bullet Club (Ace Austin, Chris Bey & Juice Robinson) beats Jason Hotch, Jack Price & Shogun. Pretty one-sided, especially the end which was just a waterfall of finishers.
Killer Kelly vs Tasha Steelz. Kelly was in her head from the start, with Tasha very hesitant to engage. Good slugfest as they finally clash. Tasha with a reversal to catch Kelly on the apron and tries to get back into this but Kelly is smiling the whole time. Tasha escaping the Killer Clutch attempts that keep coming out of nowhere. Steelz lands some hard headbutts and kicks to almost get the W. She tries to submit Kelly but gets picked up and slammed with a fisherman’s buster. Hard knees, northern lariat and a huge German. Savannah Evans trying to distract and get Steelz back into this. Kelly gets the clutch on but Savannah Evans tries to choke Kelly with a chain but loses it. Killer Kelly starts to choke out Tasha with the chain. The ref calls for the DQ but Kelly chokes him out with the chain before the bell rings. This was either a DQ win for Tasha or just a no contest.
Speedball Mike Bailey(c) vs Delirious (for the X Division Title)
Delirious is here Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!? This is Speedball’s 9th defense, on his way to Christopher Daniels 15 year record of 13 defenses. I could write this move by move but I’m just kicked back with a smile on my face, enjoying these early minutes of action. Delirious doing everything in the playbook and testing Speedball, even biting the feet and dropping him to the floor. Speedball’s back is trashed and can’t land the flamingo driver. Cobra clutch backbreaker from Delirious! Speedball with a stiff kick! Delirious avoids Ultima Weapon! Splash to the back! Great hard reversals as Delirious keeps taking shots at the back. Speedball with a superkick and kneesault! Delirious with a cobra clutch suplex! Speedball with another heavy kick and lands the flamingo driver for the win! This was f***ing great.

Match 2: Honor No More (Vincent & PCO) vs The Motor City Machineguns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)
Sabin toe to toe with the monster and it’s not going well for him. Shelley tags in and the MCMG send PCO packing with some good combos. Vincent in but the quick tags and double teams are just too strong. Vincent finally gets one over on Shelley and lets PCO continue to soften him up. Good discus forearm to the back. PCO looking great for someone in a street fight last night. MCMG’s superior tag chemistry is the deciding factor here and Vincent gets isolated and beat down. He escapes Skull & Bones…side slam and tags PCO back into the fight. PCO with a draping lungblower and ddt. Sabin hung up and PCO with a disgusting leg drop off the second jeeeeeesus. Vincent with a swanton and Shelley makes the save! PCO tries to cut him off but gets shotgunned through the ropes. Back in the Impact Zone, Bobby Fish is here?!? He talks about how he’s been a magnet for controversy lately but he thinks of himself as a guy who does his job well. But after 20 years, he’s just not here for any bulls***. Fish doesn’t work here…so why is he here? He’s been watching the locker room and it’s full of “legit dudes” who aren’t “faking the funk." Fish is here to pick a fight. Shera is here with Raj Singh and Bobby is laughing it off because he doesn’t know who they are. It may be 2 on 1 but Fish handles them easily. Fish hook on Singh and Shera makes the save for his mouthpiece. They retreat as Fish admits he still doesn’t know who they are. This was bizarre.
Match 5: Honor No More (Eddie Edward, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett w/ Maria) vs Josh Alexander, Rich Swann & Heath
