Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins inside The Fight Pit has been officially announced for the 10/7 WWE Extreme Rules PPV in Philadelphia.
For those who haven't seen the Fight Pit bouts held in WWE NXT, The match features a steel cage surrounding the ring which is devoid of turnbuckles and ring ropes with a catwalk area surrounding the top of the steel cage. The match can only be won via submission or being unable to answer the official's ten count.
Riddle was in the very first presentation of the match, facing Timothy Thatcher in May 2020 on WWE NXT TV with Kurt Angle as the guest referee.
