Match Number One: Akira Tozawa versus R Truth

Tozawa with a waist lock and Truth with a standing switch. Tozawa with a back elbow but Truth with a hip toss. Tozawa kicks Truth away when Truth sets for a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Truth does some dancing like actions and then he kicks Tozawa. Tozawa misses a few round kicks but connects with a kick. Tozawa goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Tozawa with kicks to the back and he sends Truth into the turnbuckles and kicks Truth. Truth with punches and Tozawa with a back elbow for a near fall. Tozawa with a reverse chin lock. Truth with elbows but Tozawa with a knee.

Truth gets Tozawa on his shoulders but Tozawa gets to his feet and sends Truth to the mat. Tozawa with punches to Truth and then he chokes Truth in the ropes. Tozawa with a suplex and he kicks Truth in the back. Tozawa with more kicks and he wants to know what is up. Tozawa with a rear chin lock. Truth with punches and then Truth with two flying shoulder tackles, a Blue Thunder Bomb, and then he sets for the five knuckle shuffle. Truth hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and then he hits an Attitude Adjustment for the three count.

Winner: R Truth

Shelton Benjamin says he reminded people why he is the man who has beaten the biggest and brightest in this company. Tonight is different. I face a man I consider a brother. We rode as tag team champions and part of the Hurt Business. You are just another guy reminded why Shelton Benjamin is the gold standard.

We are back with Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali in the back. Cedric wants to thank Ali for helping him out last week with T-Bar. Ali says he knows that Cedric can do it in the ring. It was about respect. Ali mentions their history and Wrestlemania. Alexander says he has a history with Shelton and he asks for Ali to let him do it on his own.

We take a look at Bianca Belair’s match against Sonya Deville from Raw and Bayley’s challenge.

Match Number Two: Shelton Benjamin versus Cedric Alexander

They shake hands but Alexander with an enzuigiri and a running forearm into the corner. Cedric with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Alexander with punches but Shelton sends Cedric to the apron. Alexander runs into a back elbow. Shelton goes for a suplex but Alexander lands on his feet. Alexander with a Neuralizer for a near fall. Benjamin with punches and Alexander sends Shelton over the top rope but Shelton skins the cat and then he sends Alexander over the top rope with a head scissors. Shelton with a baseball slide but Alexander ducks. Alexander with a round kick and he gets back in the ring. Alexander with a suicide dive that sends Shelton into the ringside barrier. Alexander with a second suicide dive with the same result. Alexander calls for a third but Benjamin with a jumping knee on the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and they exchange punches with Benjamin gaining the advantage. Shelton with a clothesline and slam. Shelton gets a near fall. Shelton with an Irish whip and Alexander with a series of kicks, including a thrust kick. Both men miss kicks and Cedric with a rollup for a near fall. Benjamin with a German suplex and both men are down. Shelton gets a near fall. Cedric with a triangle. Shelton rolls Cedric over and gets a near fall. Shelton with a one arm power bomb for a near fall.

Alexander misses an enzuigiri and Benjamin with an ankle lock. Cedric rolls through and gets a near fall. Shelton with a knee to stop Alexander as he sets for the Neuralizer. Shelton with a super kick and a second one. Benjamin with Paydirt for the three count.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

After the match, Ali comes out to check on Cedric and Cedric pushes Ali away. Cedric tells Ali he told him not to get involved. Cedric leaves the ring.
