ANOTHER FORMER ROH STAR HEADING TO IMPACT WRESTLING

Former Ring of Honor star Joe Hendry officially debuted for Impact Wrestling on tonight's Impact on AXS with the first of a number of introductory vignettes with Hendry utilizing the same theme music he wrote and performed for ROH.

In the vignette, Hendry appears in a hospital room where a family is waiting for a family member to pass away.  The idea is that when Hendry appears, wherever he is, he makes things better and brightens up the mood.  It was very much played up to an entertaining, silly effect with the idea that even when the family member passed, everyone was so happy Hendry was there they were all partying and having a great time, including the family and medical staff.

Hendry, 34, is from Scotland and was a regular for ROH from 2019 through 2022, although the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed his run greatly.  He's wrestled all over Europe and Japan and is a very good addition to the Impact Wrestling roster.  

There will be additional vignettes in the weeks to come.   There's no word when he will make his official in-ring debut.
