BRISCOES VS. LUCHA BROTHERS MATCH HALTED AFTER AEW STEPS IN

Chicago's Warrior Wrestling announced the first-ever meeting inside the ring of former ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes vs. former AEW Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers for their Warrior Wrestling 25 event on 10/2 in Marion Heights, IL.

Instead, the teams will both be on the lineup for the event, but will face others.  Warrior Wrestling announced that after consulting with AEW, the match was off, which means that AEW/ROH stepped in, not wanting a first-time ever bout between two of their contracted teams to take place outside of their umbrella.

Warrior Wrestling also announced AEW was sending Eddie Kingston to appear at the show on 10/2 as a make-good to the promotion for the change.
