OMEGA CANCELS PODCAST APPEARANCE, NEW AEW MERCH AND MORE

Kenny Omega was scheduled to be a guest on Swerve Strickland's "Swerve City Podcast"  but given everything going on in All Elite Wrestling, it's understandable that the AEW Tag Team Champion officially announced that interview was postponed on social media, tweeting:

Shop AEW has a lot of new merchandise available. There is the new MJF "The Greatest Trick The Devil Ever Played" T-shirt, a glow-in-the-dark AEW logo hat, old-school match card AEW All Out posters and more art prints from last Sunday's pay-per-view. The online retailer also has new championship nameplates for Kenny Omega, CM Punk and Chris Jericho. And there are also is a preorder for going on until September 23 for the Brody King Micro Brawler.

I've been watching season five of Cobra Kai on Netflix. The Karate Kid sequel series has had its history of making wrestling references from old-school to modern-day AEW. Given, season five has a much more serious tone, there's only one real wrestling reference,  to speak of this time around. And it comes from actor and avid wrestling fan Paul Walter Hauser, who plays fanboy "Stingray" on the series. In one scene, Stingray sings Chris Jericho's "Judas" while answering the door.
