Amanda ‘The Lioness’ Nunes is a UFC fighter and is the current Women’s Featherweight Champion and previous 2-time Women’s Bantamweight Champion. She is ranked number 1 in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings and is considered one of the best female MMA fighters.
Nunes is the first woman to become a 2 division UFC champion and the third fighter to hold 2 titles simultaneously, the other fighters with this honor being Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier. She is also the only fighter to have defended the titles while holding both.

De Randamie has considerably long legs which were able to keep Nunes at a distance during the beginning of the match. Eventually, Nunes was able to grapple de Randamie down to the ground and land several blows to her face.
This led Nunes to achieve a round 1 victory via knockout.
The original headline fight of UFC 200 was Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor. However, McGregor was pulled from the event because he didn’t attend the press conference. This led to Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones being the new headline fight.
This wouldn’t stay the title match for long though as Jones was soon pulled for testing positive for drugs. It was announced that Cormier would fight Anderson Silva instead and Miesha Tate vs Amanda Nunes would be the headline fight.
The fight was for the Women's Bantamweight Championship and was a highly anticipated match. Despite being the underdog in the fight, Nunes came away with the championship title and performance of the night bonus.
Early on in the fight, Tate managed to take down Nunes who was quickly able to recover. Soon after she was able to strike Tate in the face disorienting her.

This was Nunes’ first title defense after she had won it from Tate and Rousey’s return to the UFC after a break. It was a highly anticipated match with Rousey expecting to win over Nunes, this wasn’t the case.
As soon as the match started Nunes was immediately on the offensive. She continued to strike Rousey’s face and won by knockout in just 48 seconds. At the end of the match, Nunes came away with barely a scratch.
For her impressive fight, Nunes was awarded performance of the night and retained her title.
Cyborg vs Nunes was considered a big upset as Cyborg was expected to win. However, once again Nunes showed why she is considered the best female MMA fighter.
In total, the fight lasted 51 seconds with Nunes winning by knockout. From the beginning, Nunes took control of the round with her impressive speed and hard strikes.
Nunes won performance of the night and ended Cyborg’s 13-year-long winning streak. Amanda Nunes came away with the Women’s Featherweight Championship and became the first woman in UFC history to win 2 different championships.
This fight was her first fight after winning the Featherweight Championship from Cyborg, it was also her fourth time defending her Bantamweight title.
Nunes was the favorite to win, with this victory being her ninth in a row. The match started off with both fighters being on the defensive, anticipating each other's moves and looking for an opening.
Eventually, Nunes managed to strike Holm in the face with a right foot kick in the air. This caused Holm to be knocked to the ground which Nunes took advantage of and started striking her in the face.
She won by knockout in the first round and was awarded performance of the night.
