TRIPLE H TALKS ABOUT SUCCEEDING VINCE MCMAHON, THE VIBE BACKSTAGE, NXT 2.0, HIS HEALTH, THE ROCK AND MORE

Triple H talked about quite a few issues in this really great interview.  He discusses taking over creative duties, the pressure of being the one making decisions, the advice Vince told him, the new feeling behind-the-scenes in WWE and bringing talent back.  Hunter gives his thoughts on NXT 2.0 and how things changed due to the parameters given to them by the pandemic, the Next in Line recruiting program, NXT UK turning into NXT Europe and the future of his global localization program.

Triple H is asked whether he sees AEW competition and Hunter basically says WWE sees everything as competition, he states he does what goes on, but he doesn't watch AEW regularly.  He wants to focus on their product and is amused when people say they copied AEW because he has no idea.

He talks about the one year anniversary of his health issue goes into great detail regarding his health and the surgery to implant a defibrillator and the extended reason for his absence.  He talks about his honesty knowing that he was on the brink of death and reevaluating his life.  And how that made him okay with retirement.  Hunter talks about a possible plan to launch Gable Steveson at WrestleMania.  Triple H talks about how Stephanie was his rock during the whole process and how her leave of absence was upended on a dime with issues around Vince.

Triple H is asked about certain talents returning.  On Sasha Banks, he states we will see.  He says she can do a lot of things and time will tell.  Regarding Braun Strowman, he states again we will see.  He states Braun is an interesting personality that rubs people the wrong way at times.

On Bray Wyatt, Triple H talks about how he is a tornado creative energy and sometimes that can be perceived in a negative way, stating that he may be "an ass hole, But he's my ass hole" and sometimes people in the business are difficult to work with.  Triple H teased that you never know and there's always the chance that something may happen.

On The Rock returning, Triple H states there were plans to do something with the Rock.  But the opportunity to change, triple H talks about texting Rock at a WrestleMania years ago talking about getting goosebumps from the live crowd "saying you can't get this in Hollywood" and The Rock replied he missed that energy.  Again, Triple H teased that if the opportunity arises, it could happen.
