Victory Road PPV promo.
Backstage, Honor No More are celebrating The OGK's big Tag Team title win. Eddie Edwards says that everyone has to choose their sides and since The Kingdom chose theirs, they get to reap the benefits. They chose the right side of the war. Edwards starts complaining about PCO but Vincent steps in and says people don't understand PCO, but he will deal with it while Eddie chases the Impact title. Kenny King reminds them this is a great time to celebrate because they have the Tag Team titles, they are going to take the Impact title and soon, Kenny will have the X-Division Championship. Maria hates that Scott D'Amore took her moment at ringside away earlier, but she can be with Kenny tonight.
X-Division Champion Mike Bailey vs. Kenny King with Maria Kanellis.
King and Bailey go back and forth. King nailed a nice powerslam for a near fall. He went for The Royal Flush but Bailey escaped and nailed a series of chips. King fired back in kind. Your new X-Division Champion Kenny King!

Your winner and still champion, Mike Bailey.
Backstage, Brian Myers approaches Scott D'Amore, seeking the return of the Digital Media title. Scott is surprised the most professional wrestlers need help getting it back. He tells Brian to go get it, psyching him up. Myers agrees and says he's going to go get it but when he turns, Gujjar is there and drills him. He KO's Myers and drops the title belt on him.
Backstage, Jessicka is all excited about having won her "debut" match and is good to go. She wants to pursue the Knockouts Tag Team titles. Rosemary said that they lost the belts because Jessicka was a distraction so she needs to know that won't happen again. Taya offers to let Jessicka accompany her next week when she faces Chelsea Green. Rosemary agrees but if Jessicka gets out of line, Rosemary will deal with it.
The Flashback Moment was EC3 vs. Sami Callihan in 2019 with Callihan winning the title in a steel cage.
Gia Miller interviews the debuting Aussie Open. They want to be the Impact Tag Team Champions. Very basic intro. As it ends, there's a commotion and Gia investigates. It's Moose and Steve Maclin. Maclin tells Moose they are both in the barbed wire massacre match and have to agree to work together and then after they take out Sami, they can figure out if they are still working together. He walked off but Moose, caught by Gia, doesn't want to comment.
Bound for Glory promo.
There is a vignette with Violent by Design that is obviously writing Joe Doering out of storylines due to his health issues. Eric Young said they are at a crossroads. Joe has his own path to walk but their paths will cross again. He agreed, showed them respect and walked away. Young said he needs to walk his own path. Deaner asked if he was leaving. Young said he's leaving and whether Deaner follows is up to him.
Mickie James comes to the ring for her big announcement. It's been 24 years since she stepped in the ring and it's been over half her life. The last few years have been a roller coaster. She's been in a whirlwind from her sister's deathbed to being thrown and out and released like garbage. The bad feelings about not deserving to be there and the doubts flooded her brain about whether she has what it takes anymore. The people inspired her and reminded her she's f***ing Mickie James. Over the last year, she walked back into Impact, won the Knockouts title, competed in the first-ever Knockouts main events and had one of the best runs of her career. After losing the title and having Chelsea Green turn on her, the same doubts are closing back in. She went home to do some soul searching with her family and wondered what was left for her. She wondered if she could still hang with the best women in the industry in the ring. She doesn't want to be a shell of herself. She always said if she couldn't hang with the best, she would be done...so she needs to find out. She says she's not retiring yet. She has to face and beat the best and she has to become the Knockouts Champion again. She has an open challenge to every woman on the roster. She is coming for who holds the Knockouts title at the end. She says there is a catch. The first time someone beats her or she doesn't win the title, she will know it's her time to move on. The final rodeo will be a hell of a ride and it ends with her as champion or her going home for good. Really good, emotional promo.
Gia Miller has a sit down interview with Impact Wrestling Champion Josh Alexander. He praises Mickie James and says whoever the Knockouts Champion is when they face Mickie has a huge challenge ahead of them. Gia points out Josh is under extreme pressure as the champion, pointing out his recent title defenses. She asks him about Eddie Edwards winning the shot at the title and Josh's reaction to everything that has gone down of late with Honor No More. He said Eddie was the heart and soul of the company, now that's Josh. He said that Edwards and Honor No More can be bitter all they want, but that's their right. Trying to convince Josh to be bitter is a waste of their time. There is no one more vocal than he is about what he owes to the company. He knows what life without wrestling looks like and he's not going to take it for granted or disrespect Impact, which made it possible for him. They are just playing mind games. Eddie Edwards shows up and says he appreciates the loyalty but he's being loyal to someone who won't return that loyalty and that makes him a chump. Heath Miller hit the ring last week and disrespected Josh. There's no way Impact didn't know it was going to happen. They are letting Heath do whatever he wants and didn't even give you a chance to respect. He tells Josh that he's got another chance to see Honor No More's way but Heath charges and attacks Edwards. There's a big pull apart. Heath promises he is coming for Honor No More no matter what.
Backstage, the producers have brought Heath Miller to Scott D'Amore. He says that he knows why Heath is angry for what Honor No More have done to him, Rhino and everyone else, and he has a reason to be angry, but he can't be attacking the number one contender and putting Bound for Glory in jeopardy. It's Heath vs. Edwards next week. Heath is pumped. Heath sees someone off-camera and tells Scott he has to go take care of something. He approaches Josh Alexander. He tells Josh that what Edwards was feeding him was garbage and that Heath wasn't trying to disrespect him. Josh says that he knows, but not everything Edwards said was BS. Heath did cut him off before he had a chance to respond...and walks off.

A fun bout. Zayne has really added some nice characterization to his performances by slowing down and playing up his facials. Dorada, the former Gran Metallik, looked extremely strong in this debut.
Backstage, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace approaches Mickie James, who is sitting, taking in her announcement earlier. She tells Mickie that she admires her for not quitting and said she'll be happy to defend the title against her. She knows Mickie wants to earn the shot and she's looking forward to it. Mickie thanks her. Grace said that when she's on the other side of Bound for Glory, she hopes to see Mickie there.

Masha went for the Queens' Gambit but it was blocked. Masha nailed an Air Raid Crash into the buckles, KOing Deonna. Deonna was covered but she kicked out at the very last second.
Masha called for the Snowplow but Chelsea got on the apron. Masha confronted her, allowing Deonna to drill her with the Queen's Gambit. Masha kicked out, reset her own neck and attacked. She nailed a spinning backfist and sent her into the corner, then hit another. She kicked Green off the apron as she climbed up and nailed the Snowplow for the pin.
Your winner, challenging Jordynne Grace at Bound for Glory, Masha Slamovich!
The longest bout for Masha in Impact history by far, as well as the most competitive. Good stuff from all involved.
Grace came out and presented Masha with her own photo with a big red X inscribed across it. Masha smiled. It was the usual warning she would issue to others.
