NJPW STRONG REPORT

Match Number One: DKC and Kevin Knight versus Matt Sigmon and Elliott Russell

Knight and Sigmon start things off. They lock up and Knight back Simon into the corner and gives a clean break. Sigmon with a wrist lock and Knight with a reversal. Sigmon with a head scissors and Knight escapes. They lock up and Sigmon with a wrist lock. Knight with a reversal and snap mare followed by a splash to the arm. Knight with a side head lock. Sigmon with a shoulder in the corner and side head lock. Sigmon with a shoulder tackle. Knight with an arm drag into an arm bar.

Sigmon with a forearm and Knight with a slam and splash. DKC tags in and he hits a chop to the arm off the turnbuckles. They hit a double hip toss and DKC gets a near fall. DKC with a front face lock and wrist lock. Sigmon with a forearm and Russell tags in but he hits Sigmon with a forearm off the turnbuckles when DKC moves. Knight tags in and they hit a double back lbow. Knight with a shoulder tackle and DKC with a splash. Knight with a pescado onto Sigmon and Russell on the floor.

Knight goes up top but Sigmon crotches him. Russell with a splash into the corner and shoulder tackle. Russell gets a near fall. Sigmon tags in and they send Knight into the turnbuckles. Sigmon chokes Knight in the corner. Sigmon with a drop kick for a near fall. Simgon knocks DKC off the apron and Russell comes into to help makes a wish with Knight. Russell tags in and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles. Knight with forearms and an uppercut. Russell with forearms and he gets a near fall. Russell kicks Knight and Sigmon with a German suplex for a near fall. Sigmon with a slam and he goes to the turnbuckles but Knight gets his boot up. Russell tags in and misses an elbow drop. Sigmon gets crotched in the corner when he misses a splash. Knight with a drop kick and DKC tags in and he chops Russell.

Russell with an Irish whip and DKC floats over and hits a shoulder in the corner. DKC goes up top and hits a jumping side kick for a near fall. DKC with chops to Russell and then he sends Sigmon to the floor. Russell with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Russell with a running power slam and Sigmon with a diving head butt for a near fall when Knight puts DKC’s foot on the rope. Sigmon kicks DCK and then knocks Knight off the apron. Sigmon goes for a suplex but DKC blocks it and goes for an inside cradle. Russell rolls both men over so Simgon has the pinfall attempt. While the referee sends Russell back to the apron, DKC reverses the hold and gets the three count.

Winners: DKC and Kevin Knight

QT Marshall makes his way to the ring.

Marshall asks if they cut his mic. He says after he personally opened the Forbidden Door between New Japan and AEW and his performance at the United Center, New Japan’s fans wanted him back. Not in Charlotte because it is a ‘C’ Market. Marshall says he was going to show up any way because he was looking for competition. His opponent is tearing it up in the south, but he does not have entrance music.

His opponent is Parker Li.

Match Number Two: QT Marshall versus Parker Li

QT with a kick and side head lock take down. Li with a forearm and QT with a shoulder tackle. QT blocks a hip toss but Li with a drop kick but he misses a second one. QT with a clothesline. QT with a slam. Marshall with a series of elbow drops and then he runs his boot across the forehead. QT goes for a suplex but Li with a knee and inside cradle for a near fall. Li with a back slide for a near fall. Li with punches and chops.

Li with a drop kick. Marshall sends Li to the apron and Li with a kick. Li goes for a springboard move but Marshall with a forearm. QT sets for the QT Cutter and hits it for the three count.

Winner: QT Marshall

After the match, Marshall gets on the mic and he wants the crowd to show their approval of Parker Li and then he says that Li sucks. QT says there is no one in New Japan who can match him or take him to his limits. If there is, and someone has the balls to come out here, who can it be?

Shota Umino makes his way to the ring.

Marshall tells the people not to act that way to Shota because he came out. QT says he knows that Shota is on a roll, but he does not want to enter the ring with QT Marshall tonight. QT says he is willing to fight in front of the terrible human beings.

He tells the idiot referee to come back out.

QT asks Shota if he is ready to do it and Shota says he is ready.

Before the referee can start the match, Marshall leaves the ring and goes to the back.

Match Number Three: Mascara Dorada versus TJP

They lock up and TJP with a side head lock into a wrist lock. Dorada with an arm drag. They lock up and TJP with a side head lock and take down into a hammer lock. Dorada with elbows and a flying mare. TJP with a springboard clothesline. TJP sends Dorada into the turnbuckles and chops him. TJP with an Irish whip and Dorada floats over and then hits a springboard arm drag. Dorada misses a splash into the corner but hits a super kick and wraparound bulldog. Dorada with a springboard drop kick for a near fall.

TJP goes for the mask and TJP gets into the ropes but Dorada drop kicks TJP to the floor. TJP pulls Dorada off the apron to the floor. TJP backs Dorada into the guardrails and they return to the ring. TJP gets a near fall. TJP with a face wash and a running boot to the head. TJP gets a near fall. TJP with a knee to the back and he rakes the eyes with his boot. TJP goes for the mask and the referee pushes TJP off. TJP with a reverse chin lock. Dorada goes for a springboard back elbow but TJP catches Dorada and goes for a cross arm breaker. Dorada gets to the ropes to force a break.

TJP with a Mutoh Lock but Dorada gets to the ropes. Dorada with a chop and TJP rakes the eyes. TJP with a back breaker and he misses a slingshot senton. Dorada with a bulldog and a suicide dive. They return to the ring and Dorada goes up top and hits a springboard swanton for a near fall. Dorada gets TJP on his shoulders but TJP escapes. Dorada escapes a power bomb and so does TJP. TJP with a DDT and both men are down. Dorada with a rollup and super kick. Dorada comes off the ropes and TJP with a super kick. Dorada gets JTP on his shoulders but TJP gets to the ropes. Dorada goes for a suplex to bring TJP back into the ring but TJP blocks it and he drops Dorada on the top rope. TJP with a splash to Dorada while he hangs from the ropes. TJP gets a near fall. TJP goes up top and misses a frog splash when Dorada moves. Dorada with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.

Dorada goes for a moonsault but TJP gets his feet up. Dorada sees it and he applies a figure four. TJP rips off the mask and the referee checks on Dorada. TJP with a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: TJP

Match Number Four: Anthony Henry and JD Drake versus Ren Narita and KUSHIDA

Henry and Narita start things off and they lock up with them reversing waist locks. They both go for a front face lock and Henry goes for the leg and takes Narita to the mat. Henry wants KUSHIDA to tag in and he does. KUSHIDA with a wrist lock take down and Henry with a reversal and snap mare into a crucifix cover for a near fall. KUSHIDA wants Drake to tag in and Drake does it. KUSHIDA goes for a slam but that does not work. KUSHIDA with a chop and Drake chops back. KUSHIDA with forearms and chops and Drake with another chop. KUSHIDA goes for a slam and Drake blocks it and punches KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA with a kick and Drake with a clothesline.

Henry tags in and Drake with a slam and Henry with a drop kick. Drake with a back senton and Henry gets a near fall. Drake tags in and he kicks KUSHIDA in the ribs and chops him. Drake with forearms and Henry tags in. Henry works on the neck and then he snap mares KUSHIDA and applies a reverse chin lock. Henry with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Drake tags in and KUSHIDA with a handspring double back elbow. Narita tags in and he connects with forearms to Henry and follows with an elbow and front face lock suplex. Narita with a side Russian leg sweep. Henry with an Inside cradle for a near fall. Drake makes the blind tag and Henry kicks Narita into Drake and Drake drops Narita on the top rope. Henry with a flying boot to the head. Drake gets a near fall. Drake with a head butt and Narita with one of his own. They go back and forth with head butts. Drake with a chop in the corner and Narita with chops. Drake chops back. Drake with a clothesline and splash for a near fall. Henry tags in and He sap mares Narita and kicks him in the back. Narita with a snap mare and kicks tot he back. Drake with a slam and diving head butt. Henry and Drake kick Narita in the back and Henry with a running kick to the back. Drake gets a near fall. Drake with a forearm.

Henry tags in and Narita sends Drake into Henry. Narita with a suplex and both men are down. KUSHIDA tags in and connects with Shoteis. KUSHIDA works on the arm but misses a kick. Narita tags in and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Narita tries for one on Drake but Drake boxes the ears. Drake gives Narita to Henry for an airplane spin. Drake with a running leg lariat and Henry gets a near fall. Henry with running knees into the corner followed by a cannonball from Drake. Henry goes up top and hits a double stomp. Drake goes up for a moonsault and hits it. Henry gets a near fall. KUSHIDA slams Drake and then he tags himself in. KUSHIDA with a kick to Henry and a chop off the turnbuckles. KUSHIDA with a reverse atomic drop followed by a hip toss and cartwheel. KUSHIDA with a drop kick and a hammerlock suplex for the three count,

Winners: Ren Narita and KUSHIDA
