COMPLETE HOUSE OF GLORY HIGH INTENSITY IN NYC RESULTS

We are live at Terminal 5 in NYC for House of Glory High Intensity 2022.  

*Ultraviolet won the first annual Matt Travis Memorial Battle Royal, eliminating Smiley with a clothesline over the top to the floor.  This and the show started late because the New York State Athletic Commission-mandated ambulance and EMTS arrived late, so the promotion sent everyone to ringside and they cut promos on each other until the EMTs were in place and then everyone hit the ring and started fighting.

*Low Ki pinned Bandido with the Ki Krusher in a hell of a match that was so good, fans were throwing money into the ring after the bout.  Low Ki offered his hand after the match and showed Bandido respect before giving him the ring.  

*HOG Cruiserweight Champion KC Navarro vs. Mighty Mante, formerly known as Mantequilla vs. Nola Kitano vs. Grimm Reefer vs. Buddy Murphy vs. Brian XL.  XL was accompanied by Boxing's Unified Featherweight World champion & MMA fighter Amanda Serrano.  Tons of big spots and nearfalls right out of the gate.  XL and Murphy crashed down onto everyone during a springboard spot.  They brawled on the floor and into the ring.  XL brought a chair into the ring but the referee took it away.  Murphy grabbed it and attacked his leg and smashed another chair across the injured leg.  The referee DQ'd Murphy.  Murphy attacked Mante and others with the chair.  I thought for sure this was going to lead to Serrano returning to KO him, but instead he just walked out.  XL was removed.  The referee continued the bout with the remainder of the competitors.  Kitano was eliminated by Mante, who was attacked from behind by Navarro.  Mante scored the pin and won the title.  Fun stuff.

*Jacob Fatu vs. Brody King to crown new HOG Champion in a tournament final - They brawl all over ringside with HOG students trying to pull them apart.  They lights go out after they are pulled apart.  Malakai Black came to the ring.  They destroy all the students and leave them laying.  The Amazing Red came out for his match with Malakai, challenging him and Brody to face him and Fatu right now.  Fatu agreed.  It is now a tag team bout....

*Amazing Red & Jacob Fatu vs. House of Black - Brawling and big power spots with Fatu and King.  Black and Red had some nice grappling.  Red was caught in House of Black's corner and worked over for a long time.  King locked Red in a Boston Crab but he fought to the ropes to break it.    Red finally makes the hot tag to Fatu.  Buddy Murphy finally attacked and caused a DQ.  Red and Fatu are the official winners.  The House of Black attacked Fatu's leg, Pillmanizing it.  Low Ki and Brian XL (limping) hit the ring to run off The House of Black.  Low Ki cut a promo saying he, Red and XL are NYC originals and its going to be House of Black vs. House of Glory.

So, they didn't crown a new champion.  

The show is now at intermission.

*HOG Crown Jewel Champion Charles Mason with Carlos Ramirez vs. Joey Janela.  Back and forth bout.  Janela went for a top rope elbow but Mason pulled the knees up.  Janela accidentally nailed the referee when Mason evaded him.  Mason nailed a sleeper suplex and cinched in a guillotine choke but Ken Broadway hit the ring and nailed him with the Currency Kick.  Close two count there.  Ramirez chased Broadway to the back.  Janela and Mason battled back and forth while the referee recovered.  Janela nailed a DVDR on the apron.  Janela nailed a package piledriver for a close two count.  Mason comes back to nail an inverted piledriver through a chair for the pin.

*HOG Tag Team Champions The Briscoes won their open challenge.  Mane Event accepted with AEW's Max Caster rapping them down to the ring.  NYC lost it for this.  Private Party also accepted the challenge.  They scored the win over The Mane Event.

*Eddie Kingston defeated Naomichi Marufuji in a really fun main event in about 12 minutes.  I am sure their original time was cut due to the show running late.
