WWE NXT UK REPORT: THE FINALS ARE SET, HERITAGE CUP TITLE MATCH, THE PENULTIMATE EPISODE, AND MORE

Your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We begin with a video package for tonight’s tournament matches and the Heritage Cup Championship Match.

Trent says since day one it has been his destiny to be the man, the one on top of the mountain in NXT UK. To be the NXT UK Champion. A one legged man will not stand in his way.

Oliver says he has been struggling with his injury but nothing will stop him. He will become the hardest working NXT UK Champion.

Match Number One: Trent Seven versus Oliver Carter in a Semifinal Match of the NXT UK Championship Tournament

Trent mocks Oliver’s injured leg and he goes for the leg. Trent gets the leg and Oliver punches Trent to get free. Oliver with a front face lock into a side head lock. Oliver sends Trent to the floor and hits a pescado but Oliver reinjured his leg. Trent kicks Oliver in the leg a few times. Trent with a dragon screw in the ropes. Trent kicks Oliver in the back. Trent with a slam and he gets a near fall. Trent slams Oliver, sending his legs into the ropes for the whiplash. Trent stomps on the leg and hits a springboard seated splash. He does it again.

Trent goes for a third but Carter moves his leg and gets a near fall with a rollup. Trent kicks Oliver in the leg. Oliver with a punch but Trent with a forearm and chop. Trent kicks Oliver in the leg and chops him. Trent with a knee to the leg hanging in the ropes. Trent with an atomic drop to the knee. Trent with a punch to the leg and he goes for another atomic drop to the leg but Oliver with a sunset flip for a near fall.

Trent blocks a uranage and he kicks Oliver in the leg. Trent kicks Oliver and he goes for a step over toe hold but Oliver sends Trent into the turnbuckles and follows with forearms. Oliver with a clothesline. Trent blocks a kick and Oliver with a flip kick to Trent and both men are down. Oliver with a one legged quebrada for a near fall. Oliver misses a scissors kick and Trent with a Dragon suplex and Emerald Frosion for a near fall.

Trent with chops to the back. Oliver blocks a Seven Star Lariat. Oliver with a super kick that staggers Trent and then Oliver with a missile drop kick. Oliver with a scissors kick for a near fall. Oliver’s knee gives out as he goes across the ring. Oliver with an inside cradle for a near fall. Trent with a back fist to the leg and Trent with a Figure Seven leg lock. Oliver tries to get to the ropes and Trent pulls Oliver back into the center of the ring. They exchange chops and then Trent gets a near fall. Trent adds more pressure and Oliver has to tap out.

Winner: Trent Seven (advances to Finals)

We see Noam Dar preparing in the warehouse for his match against Mark Coffey.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Joe Coffey getting ready for his match against Tyler Bate while Mark Coffey stands around as he prepares for his Heritage Cup defense against Noam Dar.

Tyler says he moves one step closer to becoming a two time NXT UK Champion and one step closer to getting my hands on Trent Seven.

Joe says round one, we said goodbye to Mark Andrews. Now it is Tyler Bate. Joe says he is looking through Tyler for the finals because this is his kingdom.

Match Number Two: Joe Coffey versus Tyler Bate

They shake hands before locking up. Tyler with a wrist lock and Joe with a reversal. Tyler with a reversal of his own. Joe with a rollup into a Boston Crab attempt but Bate power out of the attempt. Joe with a wrist lock take down and he blocks a few shoulder tackles by Tyler. Tyler keeps bouncing off Joe on shoulder tackle attempts. Joe sets for one but Tyler with a drop kick. Tyler with a chop. Joe with an Irish whip and Tyler goes through the legs and Tyler sends Joe to the mat for a near fall.

Joe with a head butt to the midsection followed by a European uppercut. Joe with Glasgow Sendoff to send Tyler into the turnbuckles and Joe gets a near fall. Joe with a series of Irish whips and a back breaker for a near fall. Tyler with punches and Joe with a bear hug. Joe with a forearm to the lower back. Joe gets Tyler on his shoulders and Tyler with a victory roll for a near fall. Joe with a cross body for a near fall. Joe with another bear hug and he runs Tyler into the turnbuckles. Joe with a punch to the ribs to add more damage to Tyler.

Tyler with punches and forearms followed by an airplane spin. Joe with a sunset flip for a near fall. Tyler with a sunset flip but Joe rolls through and gives Tyler a giant swing. Both men are down. Both men stumble around and bump into each other. They exchange punches and forearms. Tyler with a punch that sends Joe to the mat and Tyler falls to the mat as well. Joe runs into a boot in the corner and Tyler hits a corkscrew European uppercut from the turnbuckles followed by an elbow and exploder. Tyler with a shooting star press for a near fall. Joe with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Joe sends Tyler into the corner and Tyler with a knee lift. Joe catches Tyler out of the corner and hits a deadlift German suplex. Joe gets a near fall. Joe stomps on the midsection and applies a Liontamer into a Boston Crab. Tyler tries to get to the ropes to break the hold but Joe pulls Tyler into the center of the ring. Tyler turns over and kicks Joe in the head to get out of the hold.

Joe and Tyler exchange punches and European uppercuts. Joe sends Tyler into the turnbuckles but Joe misses a boot when Tyler rolls out of the corner. Joe with a double jump cross body but the momentum sends Tyler on top for a near fall. Both men go for clotheslines at the same time and they do it again. Joe with a head butt to the chest. Tyler goes for the rebound clothesline but Joe with a discus clothesline. Joe with a punch and Tyler bounces off the ropes with a rolling kick. Joe with a back body drop to counter Tyler Driver 97 but Tyler lands on his feet. Tyler escapes a pop up uppercut and Tyler with a back slide for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Bate (advances to Finals)

After the match, Trent Seven makes his way to ringside while Tyler celebrates his victory.

Tyler holds the ropes open for Trent and Trent starts up the ring steps but he stops and he tells Tyler and everyone they have to wait. He tells Tyler that he is better than him.

We will have the Number One Contender Match for the NXT UK Women’s Championship next week featuring Isla Dawn, Eliza Alexander, Amale, and Blair Davenport.

Sid mentions that the four women are at odds with each other.

Blair says she took out Meiko and Sarray. She should be the number one contender. She will go through the others.

Isla says she cannot wait to welcome these women into her world.

Amale talks about being the first French NXT UK Women’s Champion.

Eliza says she never had it easy so she is not afraid of three women.

Sid mentions it will be an elimination match.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the announcement of NXT Europe in 2023.

Next week, we will see Trent Seven versus Tyler Bate for the NXT UK Championship.

Match Number Three: Noam Dar versus Mark Coffey for the Heritage Cup Championship
Round One
Noam takes his time removing his ring jacket. Dar with a kick to the leg. They lock u and Dar with a rollup. They lock up and Mark backs Dar into the ropes. Mark with a clean break. They go for a test of strength and Dar with a wrist lock take down. Mark with a single leg trip and he applies a figure four to the legs but Dar gets to the ropes to force a break.

They lock up and Dar with a wrist lock. Mark with a side head lock. Dar backs Coffey into the ropes and Dar misses a round kick on the break. They lock up and Mark with a waist lock take down but Dar gets back to his feet. Mark goes for an O’Connor Roll but Dar holds on to the ropes. Mark with an arm drag into an arm bar as the round ends.

Round Two
Dar with an arm drag into an arm bar. Mark with a wrist lock and arm drag into an arm bar of his own. Mark with a wrist lock and Dar goes for a fireman’s carry but Mark blocks it. Dar with a side head lock. Mark with a wrist lock. Dar with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock but Mark escapes and applies a wrist lock. Dar with a snap mare and a back kick.

Dar with a side head lock. Dar with a shoulder tackle but he bounces off Mark. Mark with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Mark misses a few elbows and Dar misses some kicks. Mark with a snap mare and a rollup for a near fall. Dar has a kick blocked but Dar with an elbow to the top of the head. Mark misses a bulldog off the turnbuckles. Dar with a running forearm to the side of the head for a near fall. Dar stomps on the arm and leg as the round ends.

Round Three
They lock up and Dar misses a kick in the corner but Mark with a clothesline and shoulder tackle. Mark picks up Dar and gives him a back drop. Mark catches Dar and sends him face first to the mat. Dar with a kick to the ankle and a thrust kick to the other leg. Dar with a spinning back fist for a near fall. Dar sets for the Nova Roller but Mark does not get up. Mark with a rollup and a running forearm to the head for the three count.
Mark Coffey 1 Fall
Noam Dar 0 Falls

Round Four
Dar struggles to get back to his feet as the round starts. Dar falls to the mat but he says he wants to continue the match. Mark does not take advantage. Mark with a full nelson but Dar backs him into the ropes. Dar backs Mark against the ropes. Dar misses a punch and Mark tries to send him over the top rope but Dar holds on to the ropes. Mark with a hip into the corner and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Dar falls through the ropes to the floor. Mark goes to the floor to send Dar back into the ring. The referee tells Mark to stand back while he checks on Dar.

Dar with a forearm and Mark fires back. Dar falls to the mat one more time. Dar says he is okay and Dar with a rollup for a near fall into a knee bar. Dar punches the knee and grapevines the leg. Mark sees the clock and decides to tap out to protect his leg.

Noam Dar 1 Fall

Round Five
Coffey misses an elbow into the corner but Mark with a clothesline and hip into the corner. Mark with a bulldog for a near fall. Dar goes for a rollup but Mark blocks it and he goes for a crossface submission but Dar gets his feet under the ropes. Dar goes for a cross arm breaker but Mark rolls over to get a near fall. Dar with a spinning back fist for a near fall.

Dar puts Mark’s leg on the rope and Dar goes up top. Mark hits Dar on the turnbuckles and Mark sets for a superplex. Dar escapes and kicks Mark in the back of the injured leg. Dar goes up top and misses a double stomp to the leg. Mark with a punch and Dar with the knee bar. Mark rolls through to escape. Dar kicks Mark in the knee and Dar goes for the knee bar one more time. Mark rolls through and Dar kicks Mark in the head. Mark with punches as the round ends.

Round Six
Dar with a forearm and Mark fires back. Both men with clotheslines and then Dar goes for a guillotine but Mark escapes. Dar with an elbow to the top of the head but Mark with a clothesline. Dar with an inside cradle for a near fall. Mark with a half nelson slam but Dar rolls to the apron. Mark with a sliding elbow that knocks Dar off the apron to the floor. Sha Samuels comes through the crowd and sends Mark into the ring post.

Samuels sends Mark back into the ring and Dar with a Nova Roller for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar (new champion)

After the match, Sha and Noam celebrate at ringside and then pose in the ring with the trophy.
