WWE NXT UK REPORT: WHO WILL MOVE CLOSER TO THE NXT UK MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP?, HYPE FOR THE HERITAGE CUP TITLE MATCH NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We take a look at the brackets for the NXT UK Men’s Championship Tournament.

Joe says he is back and refreshed for the tournament. He is motivated to get to the finals and asks how great would it be if there were two Gallus boys in the finals?

Mark mentions he made it to the semifinals in the first tournament and he showed the potential to become champion. He has the chance to achieve that potential by winning the title.

Match Number One: Joe Coffey versus Mark Andrews in a First Round Match in the NXT UK Men’s Championship Tournament

They shake hands before they lock up. Coffey sends Mark to the mat. They lock up again and Joe sends Mark into the ropes. Mark with a side head lock. Joe tries to get Mark up but Mark holds on to the side head lock. Mark lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Mark with a side head lock. Joe with a shoulder tackle. Joe blocks an arm drag and a head scissors. Mark lands on his feet but Joe with a slam.

Joe with a forearm in the corner. Mark with an elbow and he goes to the turnbuckles for a head scissors take down. Joe catches Mark and hits a standing power slam for a near fall. Joe with a series of Irish whips and a back breaker. Mark with forearms and chops but Joe with a forearm and suplex for a near fall. Joe with a half nelson. Mark goes for an arm drag but Joe blocks it. Joe with a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Joe misses an elbow drop. Mark with punches and Joe punches back. Joe returns to the half nelson. Joe tries to apply a full nelson but Mark blocks it. Joe with European uppercuts but Mark blocks one and tries for a back slide. Mark cannot get Joe over.

Joe gets Mark back to his feet and then Mark with a rollup for a near fall. Mark with a drop kick and a drop kick to the knees. Joe with a head butt and then he goes for a short arm clothesline but misses. Mark with a hesitation DDT and both men are down. Mark with a running forearm and a second one. Mark with a flying forearm. Mark with forearms and chops. Joe with punches and Mark slides under and hits an enzuigiri. Joe falls out of the ring but he hangs on to the ropes with his feet. Mark with a double stomp off the apron to Joe.

Joe pushes Mark away and gets back into the ring. Mark with an enzuigiri and a springboard cross body for a near fall. The referee checks on Joe and Mark goes for a monkey flip. Joe catches Mark and sends Mark to his feet. Joe with a kick and overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Joe gets a near fall. Joe blocks a suplex and then hits Stundog Millionaire. Mark goes to the apron and then he goes for a springboard move but Joe with an uppercut. Joe with Glasgow Sendoff followed by All the Best for the Bells and the three count.

Winner: Joe Coffey (advances to face winner of Tyler Bate versus Kenny Williams)

We go to commercial.

We are back and Joe walks in the back and talks about his performance tonight. He says it was his first time back after a long absence. There will be one man standing at the end and it will be his kingdom. GALLUS BOYS ON TOP

Andy mentions that Nina has not won a match since 2021.

Match Number Two: Nina Samuels versus Amale

They lock up and Amale with a side head lock and holds on when Nina tries to send her off the ropes. Nina gets Amale up but Amale with a side head lock take down. Nina gets a near fall with a rollup. Amale with a rollup for a near fall. Nina with an Irish whip and Amale floats over and Amale with a side head lock take down. Nina with forearms to the back and Amale with a shoulder tackle. Amale holds on to the ropes when Nina sets for a leap frog. Amale with a series of drop kicks for a near fall. Nina gets her foot on the rope to blocks a butterfly suplex attempt.

Nina backs Amale into the corner but misses a clothesline. Nina with a kick when the referee pulls Amale out of the corner. Nina stretches Amale in the ropes and connects with a forearm to the back and then hits a drop kick to the back for a near fall. Nina slams Amale’s head into the mat. Nina with a rear chin lock. Nina with a knee to the back while she maintains the rear chin lock. Nina with another knee to the back. Amale with punches and Nina with a slam for a near fall. Nina pie faces Amale and Nina kicks Amale in the side of the head.

Amale blocks a kick and connects with forearms. Nina with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Nina chokes Amale in the ropes. Nina stretches Amale in the ropes and misses a drop kick against the ropes when Amale moves. Amale with forearms and a rolling elbow. Amale with back elbows and an Irish whip followed by a clothesline in the corner and a bulldog for a near fall. Amale with a waist lock but Nina with a drop toe hold that sends Amale into the ropes.

Amale with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles followed by a running boot to the head. Amale with Hope Breaker for the three count.

Winner: Amale

Amale tells Blair, Eliza, and Isla that she hopes they watched because they are next.

We take a look at Oliver Carter. He comes out of the trainer’s room. He says his knee is all good.

Trent Seven shows up and he says that it looks like the knee is heavily bandaged. Trent says to let him get a bye to the final to stay safe.

Oliver says the last time they face Trent and Tyler, they turned them into ex-champions.

Trent says that was the most pivotal moment in his career because now you are going the see the real Trent Seven, and he is going to break your leg.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ilja Dragunov has a message for the participants in the NXT UK Title tournament. Impressive . . . inspiring how every single one of you are willing to give all you have for this prize. He wants to know who will take his place. Pay attention to the wording . . . MY PLACE. Whoever it will be you better sleep well and fight hard. The moment I come back, I will throw my entire existence in front of you like you have never seen before. Long live the Tsar.

Match Number Three: Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward (with Thea Hail) versus Eddie Dennis and Saxon Huxley

Chase and Dennis start things off. They lock up and Chase with a wrist lock and he works on the shoulder. Dennis with a reversal and top wrist lock take down. Eddie tells Saxon that is how he has to do it. They lock up and Dennis with a wrist lock. Chase with a top rope lock take down and he slaps Eddie in the back. Chase with a side Russian leg sweep and he does the C-H-A-S-E-U stomp. Bodhi tags in and hits a shoulder from the apron followed by a sunset flip for a near fall. Bodhi with a wrist lock.

Chase tags in and connects with a forearm to the arm. Bodhi tags back in and he connects with an elbow to the arm. Bodhi with a wrist lock. Chase tags in and connects with a double sledge off the turnbuckles to the arm. Eddie with a knee to the midsection and Huxley tags in. Huxley goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a double sledge on Eddie’s arm when Chase moves. Huxley disappoints Eddie and Eddie pushes him. Chase with a rollup for a near fall. Chase with a European uppercut and Dennis distracts Chase. Chase knocks Eddie off the apron.

Huxley with a Thesz Press and he slams Chase’s head to the mat. Huxley with an elbow drop for a near fall. Huxley sends Chase into the turnbuckles and Eddie tags in. Eddie kicks Chase in the corner. Chase with punches but Eddie with a back elbow for a near fall. Dennis with an arm bar. Huxley tags in and he connects with a knee to the midsection. Chase with jabs but Huxley blocks an Irish whip and Huxley with Irish whips and clotheslines. Huxley with more Irish whips until Chase collapses. Huxley misses an elbow drop when Chase moves.

Hayward and Dennis tag in and Hayward with shoulders to the leg and a clothesline followed by a splash for a near fall. Hayward sends Huxley to the apron and Dennis with a belly-to-back suplex. Huxley with a clothesline off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Dennis tags himself in and Dennis tells Huxley that he is the star. Hayward with a back body drop and Chase tags in for the Fratliner and the three count.

Winners: Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward

After the match, Dennis pokes Huxley and calls him stupid. Huxley with a sit out choke slam. Chase offers his hand to Huxley and Huxley shakes it.

We take a look at Noam Dar and Mark Coffey ahead of next week’s Heritage Cup title match. Noam says they are not here to watch the game, we are here to change the game. They are the only brand to adopt the Heritage Rules match. Mark says no one else has this or has the toughness. It is about six matches in one step up. If you think you can do that, come after him. The Heritage Cup represents the history of the sport in the UK. Mark says it is an honor to carry it forward. Noam says heritage means giving thanks and praise. It is about honoring the lineage of this industry. Mark mentions James Mason, Johnny Moss, Robbie Brookside, and Johnny Saint. We would not be here if not for those men from the past. We don’t let the past die. He says he is carrying that legacy and he is carving his name in there as the champion. Noam tells all of the old boys watching that God is here. He says he is here now and all of the levels you legends have set, I am going to best them. Mark says Noam said he was the best champion but I told you I would beat you without Sha in your corner. I beat you. Noam says he is not here to talk about Sha, it was never about him, and it is about Noam. Mark says that without his corner man, coach, and bookie, Noam is lost. Noam says he will show up and there will be no more further question. Mental IQ beats toughness. Chess beats checkers. Noam Dar beats Mark Coffey. Mark says he will be the Heritage champion for a long time. Your legacy is in my hands and it is OUR KINGDOM.

We are back and we will see next week’s semifinal matches.

Kenny says good little boys like Tyler Bate get opportunity after opportunity. They always finish last. It is time that a scumbag like him finishes first and wears the NXT UK Championship.

Tyler says tonight he moves one step closer to fulfilling his dream of becoming the first two time NXT UK Champion. I will crush Trent Seven’s dreams in the process.

Match Number Four: Tyler Bate versus Kenny Williams in a First Round Match in the NXT UK Men’s Championship Tournament

They lock up and Bate with a side head lock take down. Williams with a head scissors and Tyler escapes. They lock up and Bate with a wrist lock. Bate sends Williams to the mat. Williams with a reversal. Bate with a reversal of his own. Williams with a back elbow and Irish whip but Bate goes through the legs and Bate with a leap frog. Bate with a rollup for a near fall. Bate with an Irish whip and snap mare. Williams offers his hand and then he pulls it away. Kenny likes what he did and then he mocks Bate. Bate slaps Williams’ hand away and then Williams slaps Bate slaps back and Williams goes to the ropes.

Williams with a thumb to the eyes and a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Kenny gets a series of near falls but Bate bridges. Williams tries to use his body weight to get Bate down but Bate bridges with Williams on him. Bate gets back to his feet and he slaps Williams. Bate with an irish whip and back body drop. Bate with a drop kick that sends Williams to the floor. Bate goes to the floor but Williams gets back into the ring and hits a springboard back elbow to knock Tyler off the apron.

Williams goes through the moves but misses Tyler when he moves. Bate with an airplane spin but Williams grabs the ring post to stop him. Bate misses an uppercut and Bate hits the ring post. Bate is sent into the ringside barrier but Bate beats the count back into the ring. Williams with boots to Bate. Williams with a forearm. Williams gets a near fall. Williams works on Tyler’s back and then he kicks Tyler in the head and gets a near fall. Williams with head butts to the midsection but when he tries for a third one, Bate goes for a sunset flip. Williams punches the mat when Tyler moves. Tyler with a chop and Irish whip that sends Kenny sternum first into the turnbuckles. Tyler with punches. Kenny with a suplex and he floats over for a near fall.

Williams punches Tyler on the top of the head and connects with a forearm for a near fall. Williams with a rear chin lock and crossfaces. Tyler gets Williams on his shoulders and hits an electric chair drop. Bate with European uppercuts and Williams with a kick. Williams with an Irish whip and Bate with a knee lift in the corner. Bate with a corkscrew uppercut off the turnbuckles. Tyler with a running European uppercut into the corner. Williams with an Irish whip and Bate catches Williams in the corner and hits an exploder. Bate with a shooting star press for a near fall.

Tyler signals for the airplane spin but Williams blocks it with elbows. Bate with a European uppercut and Williams with a back slide for a near fall. Williams with a shoulder tackle to the knee followed by a rolling Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Williams goes for Bad Luck but Tyler blocks it and Bate gets Williams up for an airplane spin. Williams grabs the ropes to stop Bate but Bate pulls Williams back into the center of the ring for more rotations. Bate tries to stay on his feet after landing. Both men with clotheslines and both men are down.

Kenny punches Tyler and then they exchange forearms. Bate with chops and forearms. Williams with a bicycle kick but blocks a second one. Bate with a knee and then he connects with a jab that sends Williams to the floor. Bate with a plancha onto Williams. Bate brings Williams back into the ring and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Bate sets for Tyler Driver 97 but Williams blocks it. Bate blocks Bad Luck. Williams sends Bate into the ropes and Williams with a rollup and his feet on the ropes for a near fall. Williams comes off the turnbuckles and Bate catches Williams and hits a German suplex. Bate with a rebound clothesline and Tyler Driver 97 for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Bate (advances to face Joe Coffey)
