8/13 XPW DAY OF RECKONING REPORT

XPW “Night Of Reckoning” Recap 

- XPW CEO Rob Black makes his way to the ring to start the show, Black says XPW will return to the Derby Room on October 22. Black promises that XPW will change forever tonight. 

- A video package airs showing Dirty Ron attacking Sabu at a past XPW event.

 

- Dirty Ron McDonald gets the microphone to say he is the toughest clown in town, McDonald says some stuff to Bo Cooper and High Pitch Will. Cooper steals the microphone to curse out McDonald. 

Dirty Ron McDonald vs. Bo Cooper w/High Pitch Will 

 

The match begins with Cooper hitting McDonald with a steel chair and some light tubes, Cooper hits McDonald with a few strikes and some more light tubes. Cooper follows up by nailing a charging McDonald with a slam, Cooper misses a charge in the corner and McDonald cracks him with a few strikes. McDonald gets a steel chair and he hits Cooper with it multiple times, McDonald then hits a cornered Cooper with a back elbow strike while leaping off of a steel chair. Cooper recovers to send a charging McDonald out of the ring, McDonald avoids a charging Cooper and Cooper accidentally hits Will. McDonald and Cooper have a striking exchange on the arena floor, McDonald ends the exchange by sending Cooper into the ring post.

McDonald finds a table and he sets it up on the arena floor, Cooper collides with Will again before sending a leaping McDonald into the barricade. Cooper sends McDonald into the crowd before dragging him back to the ringside area, Will gets a few shots in on McDonald while Cooper holds him.  

McDonald gets back in the ring and he hits Cooper with a chair shot when he returns to the ring, McDonald grabs a barbed wire 2x4 and he scrapes the head of Cooper with it. McDonald grabs a bag before dumping thumb tacks in the ring, McDonald goes for a choke slam and Cooper winds up choke slamming him into the tacks. Cooper misses a splash on McDonald and he crashes into the tacks, McDonald grabs the chair and he hits Cooper with it. Cooper catches a leaping McDonald and he tosses him out of the ring and through the table, Will finds another table and he sets it up in the ring. Will also gets a ladder in the ring while Cooper hits McDonald with a death valley driver onto some chairs for a near fall, McDonald is placed on the door and Cooper climbs the ladder. Cooper leaps off the ladder and he crashes through the table after McDonald gets out of the way, McDonald then hits Cooper with an elbow drop from the ladder for a three count. 

Winner: Dirty Ron McDonald 

After the match, Dirty Ron McDonald throws a bowling ball into the crotch region of High Pitch Will. 

 

- Matt Cross makes his way to the ring and he gets the microphone, Cross talks about being and XPW original with Rob Black. Cross talks about winning the XPW Tag Team Titles back in the original incarnation of XPW, Cross issues an open challenge it is answered by Damian 666. 666 gets the microphone and he says a bunch of stuff in Spanish, which causes Cross to attack him.  

Matt Cross vs. Damian 666 

The match begins with Cross nailing 666 with a ton of strikes, Cross corners 666 before landing a handspring elbow strike. 666 fights back and he drops a charging Cross with a clothesline, Cross sends 666 out of the ring before nailing him with a suicide dive. 666 recovers and he throws a steel chair at Cross before hitting him in the back with it, 666 sets the chair up on the ring apron and Cross throws him into it. Cross grabs the chair and he hits 666 in the back with it, Cross follows up on that by sending 666 into the ring post. Cross then hits 666 with an elbow drop from the ring post, Cross gets 666 back into the ring and 666 hits him with strikes when he returns to the ring.

666 gets a chair from a fan and he sticks it near the balls of Cross before hitting that chair, 666 gets a spiked belt from a fan and he whips Cross with it. 666 also chokes Cross with the belt, 666 releases the choke and Cross cracks him with a few strikes before eating another belt shot. 666 knocks Cross into the ropes before getting a testicular claw from 666, Cross fights back and 666 gets his knees up during a split legged moonsault attempt. 

666 then drops Cross with a clothesline for a near fall, 666 goes to the top rope and Cross meets him up there after landing a right. Cross then hits 666 with a superplex for a near fall, Cross goes for a rebound cutter and 666 avoids it before landing a headbutt to Cross’ balls for a near fall. 666 gets Cross on the ropes and he follows him up there, Cross knocks 666 off the ropes and he lands on his feet during a shooting star press attempt. 666 then hits Cross with a muscle buster for a three count. 

Winner: Damian 666 

Santana Jackson vs. Human Tornado 

The match begins with Tornado and Jackson showing off their dancing abilities, Tornado then kicks Jackson in the midsection before eating a few jabs. Tornado recovers and he sends Jackson out of the ring, Tornado drags Jackson around the ringside area while landing strikes. Tornado follows up by sending Jackson into the barricade, Tornado grabs a fork from a fan and he tosses it away before punching Jackson. Tornado charges at Jackson and he winds up crashing into the ring post, Tornado recovers and he drops Jackson on the ring frame. Tornado corners Jackson when they get back in the ring and Tornado drop kicks Jackson in the balls, Tornado misses a charge in the corner and Jackson lands some strikes on him afterwards. Jackson follows up by nailing Tornado with a top rope arm drag, Jackson misses a charge in the corner and Tornado dumps him out of the ring again. Jackson goes under the ring while Tornado is arguing with the ref, Jackson returns from being under the ring with a werewolf mask on. 

Tornado runs away and Jackson gives chase around the ringside area, Jackson follows Tornado back into the ring to hit him with a slam. Jackson then lands his version of the People’s Elbow on Tornado, Jackson then hits Tornado with a Moonwalk DDT for a three count. 

Winner: Santana Jackson 

- Highlights of Juventud Guerrera in XPW are shown. 

 

- Juventud Guerrera makes his way to the ring next and he gets the microphone, Guerrera announces that The Juice has come back to Los Angeles. Guerrera says it has been a longtime and everything has changed for the good, Guerrera welcomes everybody to The Juice Bar. Guerrera talks about his memories of the late Eddie Guerrero, Guerrera says he wants to challenge for the AAA Mega Championship. Guerrera says he is a pioneer of AAA and he makes a statement wherever he goes, TJP interrupts and he makes his way to the ring. TJP gets the microphone and he calls Guerrera a pioneer in pro wrestling, TJP wants to know why he is a guest on The Juice Bar. Guerrera talks about all of the accolades that TJP has achieved in the business, Guerrera promises to beat up TJP tonight so he can become a contender to the AAA Mega Championship. TJP says he will take care of Guerrera tonight because that’s what the fans want, Guerrera says their match will happen right now. 

Juventud Guerrera vs. TJP 

The match begins with TJP leveling Guerrera with a ton of strikes, Guerrera fights back and he lands some strikes of his own. Guerrera traps TJP in the corner while landing more strikes, TJP gets free and Guerrera takes him down with a leaping arm drag. Guerrera drops TJP again before landing a middle rope high cross body for a near fall, TJP leaves the ring and TJP knocks him to the arena floor. TJP then sends Guerrera back first into the ring frame, Guerrera gets back in the ring and TJP drops him before landing a knee drop for a near fall. TJP keeps Guerrera down while applying a chin lock to him, Guerrera gets free and TJP gets him in a sharp shooter before transitioning to a Muta Lock. TJP releases that hold before attacking the arm of Guerrera, Guerrera briefly leaves the ring and TJP attacks the injured arm when he returns. TJP holds Guerrera down while applying a kimura hold to him, TJP then hits Guerrera with a back breaker followed by a slingshot swanton bomb for a near fall. Guerrera fights back and he nails TJP with a head kick, Guerrera misses a follow up kick before getting TJP in a modified rings of Saturn. 

TJP eventually makes it to the ropes to break the submission from Guerrera, TJP recovers and he gets Guerrera in a rope assisted guillotine choke. TJP releases the hold before going to the top rope, TJP misses a swanton bomb and Guerrera nails him with a bulldog followed by a neck breaker. Guerrera knocks TJP out of the ring before taking him out with a dive, Guerrera gets TJP back into the ring before exchanging some kicks with him. TJP ends that exchange by nailing Guerrera with a tornado DDT, Guerrera and TJP have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. TJP ends that exchange by nailing Guerrera with a springboard leg lariat for a near fall, Guerrera fights back and he catches TJP in a roll up for a near fall. TJP attacks the injured arm of Guerrera before applying a modified STF to him and Guerrera gets to the ropes, TJP follows up by hitting Guerrera with a reverse DDT. Guerrera gets his knees up during a splash attempt by TJP, Guerrera then hits TJP with an inverted Go To Sleep before landing the Juvi Driver for a three count. 

Winner: Juventud Guerrera 

After the match, Juventud Guerrera thanks everybody for coming to the event tonight and supporting XPW. Guerrera says he now deserves a shot at the AAA Mega Championship.  

- Taya Valkyrie appears via a pre-recorded video to talk about how Jody Threat attended her seminar a few years back, Valkyrie says that Canadian wrestlers are better because they have to work harder than everyone else. Valkyrie says Threat has made a rookie mistake with her recent comments, Valkyrie says she has to prove something at the XPW event and to herself. 

- Jody Threat appears via pre-recorded victory, Threat says Taya Valkyrie escaped the black hole of Canadian wrestling. Threat talks about everything that Valkyrie has achieved throughout her career, Threat says she is someone with something to prove and she is still trapped in Canada, unlike Valkyrie. Threat talks about how the COVID pandemic affected her career and she will prove herself in their match for the XPW Women’s Championship. 

XPW Women’s Championship 
Taya Valkyrie (C) vs. Jody Threat 

The match begins with Valkyrie and Threat locking up before Threat gets backed into the corner, Valkyrie breaks from Threat after landing a chop. Valkyrie scores a takedown on Threat and Threat gets free to work over Valkyrie’s arm, Valkyrie gets up and Threat takes her down with a headlock. Valkyrie gets free and she briefly catches Valkyrie in a head scissors, Valkyrie traps a charging Threat in the corner while landing some strikes. Threat recovers and she cornered Valkyrie while landing clothesline smashes followed by shoulder thrusts, Threat then hits Valkyrie with a release northern lights suplex for a near fall. Valkyrie sends a charging Threat into the corner before dropping her and landing a butt smash, Valkyrie keeps Threat down while landing a double knee strike for a near fall. Threat fights back and she sends a charging Valkyrie out of the ring, Threat then hits Valkyrie with a baseball slide drop kick followed by a dive from the ring apron. Valkyrie and Threat exchange some strikes while battling on the arena floor, Threat knocks Valkyrie to the barricade before landing an avalanche.  

Valkyrie avoids the charge from Threat and Threat crashes into the barricade, Threat manages to recover and she sends Valkyrie into the ring post. Threat gets Valkyrie back in the ring before getting trapped in the ropes, Valkyrie then hits Threat with a sliding snap German suplex. Valkyrie lays threat along the ring apron while landing a bunch of strikes, Valkyrie drags Threat to the arena floor before landing a DDT on the arena floor. Threat and Valkyrie exchange some strikes on the arena floor until Valkyrie drops Threat, Valkyrie gets Threat back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Threat fights back and she trades more strikes with Valkyrie until a double clothesline drops them both, Valkyrie and Threat both get up before another striking exchange takes place. Valkyrie drops Threat and she lands a double stomp for a near fall, Threat fights back and she sends Valkyrie into the ropes before landing a double knee strike. Threat then hits Valkyrie with a release German suplex for a near fall, Threat follows up with a Michinoku Driver on Valkyrie for another near fall. 

Threat leaves the ring and she returns with a steel chair, Valkyrie steals one of the chairs while Threat throws another chair and a door into the ring. Threat gets back in the ring and Valkyrie kicks a door into her face, Valkyrie then sets up the door onto those chairs that are in the ring. Threat almost throws Valkyrie into the ref before taking out the ref herself, Valkyrie then hits Threat with a Road To Valhalla while the ref is down. Threat hits Valkyrie with a spear as the ref returns for a near fall, Threat gets Valkyrie on the top rope while landing a few strikes. Threat drags the set up door across the ring to the corner Valkyrie is at, Threat climbs the ropes and Valkyrie gets free to power bomb Threat through the door for a near fall. Valkyrie then applies the modified STF to Threat and Threat taps out. 

Winner: Taya Valkyrie, still your XPW Women’s Champion 

- Ludark Shaitan cuts a promo, but the audio is so bad that nothing can be heard. 

- Sage Sinn Supreme talks about the XPW Women’s Division and how she is competing in the first women’s deathmatch in XPW history, Supreme says it is time for her and Mickie Knuckles to show what they can do. Supreme then beats up a watermelon with a spiked baseball bat. 

- Mickie Knuckles appears via a pre-recorded video and she shows everybody making weapons for the upcoming deathmatch, Knuckles says she may stay in XPW for a while. 

First Ever Women’s Deathmatch In XPW History 
Ludark Shaitan vs. Mickie Knuckles vs. Sage Sinn Supreme 

The match begins with a three way striking exchange while all the competitors are laying down, they all make it to their feet while landing headbutts on each other. Supreme grabs her plastic jack o’ lantern and she hits Knuckles with it, Knuckles grabs light tubes and she hits Shaitan with them. Shaitan stabs the head of Knuckles with a broken piece of light tube before Supreme hits her with more light tubes, Knuckles grabs a gusset plate bat and she attacks Shaitan with it. All the wrestlers take turns stabbing each other with various baseball bats, Shaitan hits both opponents in the back with a gusset plate baseball bat. Supreme grabs a broken door and she hits Knuckles and Shaitan with it, Shaitan recovers and she hits Supreme with the broken door. Shaitan grabs a fork and she stabs the forehead of Knuckles with it, Knuckles grabs a hatchet and she sticks it in Shaitan’s backside. Supreme throws Shaitan out of the ring and she follows her out there. Knuckles then takes out both opponents with a suicide dive, Knuckles then grabs a staple gun and she staples the face of Shaitan. 

Supreme and Shaitan work together to staple the forehead of Knuckles, Supreme then dumps Shaitan in the crowd. Supreme is back and she dumps Knuckles into the crowd, Shaitan grabs a chair and she chokes Knuckles with it. Supreme climbs up a piece of the staging and she leaps off onto both competitors, Supreme throws a chair at Shaitan before eating headbutts from Knuckles. Shaitan grabs Knuckles and she throws her into a bunch of chairs, Shaitan and Supreme exchange light tube shots at the ringside area. Knuckles returns and she breaks light tubes on the head of Supreme, Shaitan grabs a fork and she stabs Knuckles with it. Shaitan and Supreme take turns attacking Knuckles with various weapons, Supreme and Shaitan then attack each other with weapons until Knuckles lays them both out. Knuckles attacks Supreme with a thumb tack bat before Shaitan gets her in a chin lock, Supreme finds a broken door and she hits Shaitan with it. Knuckles then hits Supreme with a suplex on the arena floor, Knuckles finds Shaitan and she slams her on top of Supreme. Knuckles hits Shaitan with a senton before being attacks by Supreme, Shaitan eats a door shot while trying to attack Knuckles with a hatchet.  

Knuckles chases Shaitan around the ring with a hatchet before getting hit with light tubes, Shaitan and Knuckles do battle in the ring and Shaitan is sent face first into the light tubes for a near fall. Knuckles sends Shaitan into Supreme and Supreme crashes through the light tube door, Knuckles grabs some light tubes and she hits Shaitan with them. Knuckles stabs Shaitan in the lower regions with a broken light tube, Knuckles then hits Shaitan with a pump handle slam onto some light tubes. Supreme then hits Knuckles with some light tubes for a near fall, Supreme and Shaitan land a bunch of shots on a cornered Knuckles. Knuckles eventually gets up and she hits Shaitan with a belly to belly suplex, Knuckles follows up by tossing Supreme into Shaitan. Knuckles then breaks a bunch of light tubes over both of her cornered opponent, Shaitan and Knuckles have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Knuckles drops Shaitan with a pump handle slam onto more light tubes for a near fall, Shaitan corners and attacks Knuckles while Supreme sets up a bunch of things on the arena floor. 

Supreme returns and she hits both opponents with light tubes, Shaitan falls through a barbed wire board on the arena floor. Supreme then hits Knuckles with a code red for a three count. 

Winner: Sage Sinn Supreme 

- Shlak appears via a video package and he talks about his last match against The Necro Butcher, Shlak promises to beat the Butcher to death. 

XPW King Of The Deathmatch Championship 
Falls Count Anywhere 
Shlak (C) w/Misha Montana vs. The Necro Butcher w/Jasmine St. Claire & Veronica Caine 

The match begins with Shlak and Butcher having a wild striking exchange, the wrestlers clinch and exchange more blows. Butcher goes for the arm of Shlak and another striking exchange happens, Shlak goes after the arm of Butcher and a striking exchange breaks out once again. Shlak throws Butcher out of the ring before all the ladies jump in the ring, St. Claire attacks Montana and a cat fight breaks out. Montana attacks Caine next and St. Claire hits Montana with a kendo stick, Shlak finds Butcher and he breaks some light tubes on him. Butcher recovers and he dumps Shlak into the crowd before following him out there, Shlak and Butcher trade more strikes. Shlak grabs a chair and he hits Butcher in the head with it, Butcher gets up and he trades more strikes with Shlak. Butcher and Shlak make their way back to the ringside area, Butcher grabs a chair and he attacks Shlak with it. Butcher finds a bunch of chairs and he throws them into the ring, Butcher hits Shlak with a chair assisted power slam for a near fall. Butcher follows up by hitting Shlak with a sidewalk slam onto a pair of chairs, Butcher goes for a front facelock and Shlak gets free after landing chair shots. 

Shlak then grabs a chair from a fan and he nails Butcher in the head with it, Shlak then has the fans throw a bunch of chairs into the ring and they all fall on the downed Butcher. Shlak then hits Butcher with a power bomb onto a bunch of chairs for a near fall, Butcher fights back and he hits Shlak with a swinging neck breaker followed by a piledriver for a near fall. Butcher traps Shlak in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Butcher gets Shlak on the top rope before smashing a chair on his head. Butcher then hits Shlak with a superplex onto a bunch of chairs, Shlak gets up and he nails Butcher with a chair before landing a brain buster onto another chair. Shlak follows up by landing a lariat on Butcher for a three count. 

Winner: Shlak, still your XPW King Of The Deathmatch Champion 

- Masada, Brian Cage & Willie Mack all talk in a pre-recorded video package about their upcoming title match. 

XPW World Heavyweight Championship 
Brian Cage (C) vs. Masada vs. Willie Mack 

The match begins with Mack kicking Cage in the head before stomping away on him, Masada comes over and he trades strikes with Mack. Masada catches Mack in a roll up before eating a drop kick from Cage, Cage then hits Mack with a super kick before landing shoulder thrusts on Masada. Mack and Masada work together to double team Cage, Mack then hits Cage with a neck breaker before again double teaming him alongside Masada. Cage leaves the ring while Masada drops Mack with multiple arm drags, Mack backs Masada into the corner while landing shoulder thrusts. Mack traps Mack in the corner while landing a forearm strike, Masada drops Mack in the corner before landing a basement drop kick. Masada goes for Mack and Cage nails him with a 619, Cage traps Masada in the corner while landing strikes. Cage follows up by landing a spine buster on Masada, Mack returns and he nails Cage with a bunch of strikes. Cage fights back and he nails Mack with a back drop driver, Cage then nails Masada with a release German suplex. 

Masada recovers and he catches Cage in an arm bar, Cage manages to get free and he stomps on a downed Masada. Masada escapes a suplex from Cage before rolling him up for a near fall, Masada then hits Cage with a knee strike before landing a tornado DDT on Mack for a near fall. Masada and Mack exchange clotheslines until both go down, Mack gets up and he nails Cage with multiple clotheslines followed by a slam. Mack traps Masada in the corner while propelling Cage on top of him, Mack then hits both of his opponents with a cannonball. Mack clears the ring before hitting both opponents with a suicide dive, Mack gets Cage back in the ring and Masada nails Mack with a chair afterwards. Masada follows up by nailing Mack with a suplex, Cage gets Masada to the ring apron before landing a head kick. Cage then superplexes Masada back into the ring for a near fall, Cage sets up for a power bomb on Masada and Mack nails him with a head kick. Mack then hits Masada with a pop up forearm strike for a near fall, Mack goes to the top rope and he misses the leap off.  

All three competitors exchange some strikes until Masada goes down, Cage then hits Mack with a pump handle slam. Masada attacks Cage before eating a Samoan drop from Mack, Mack then hits Cage with a spinning head kick before eating a clothesline from him. Masada grabs skewers and he attempts to stab Cage with them. Mack grabs a steel chair and he hits both opponents with it, Mack grabs the skewers and he stabs Masada with them. Cage surprises Mack with a roll up for a near fall, Mack recovers and he quickly drops Cage with a head kick. Masada returns and he stabs Mack with some skewers, Masada then kicks a chair into the face of Mack for a near fall. Masada escapes the grasp of Cage and Cage does the same to him before landing an F5 for a near fall, Cage grabs his title belt and he nails Masada with it. Cage goes to hit Mack with it and Mack counters with a stunner for a near fall, Mack goes to the top rope and he nails Cage with a frog splash. Masada then hits Mack with the title belt before landing a death valley driver on Cage for a three count. 

Winner: Masada, your new XPW World Heavyweight Champion
