MLW OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE DEFENDED AT NWA 74 PPV WEEKEND, EC3 TO DEBUT AND MORE

The MLW National Openweight Championship will be defended over the course of the NWA 74 PPV weekend, PWInsider.com has confirmed.  The current plan is for Davey Richards to come in and defend the title on Night Two against Thrillbilly Silas, with Pollo Del Mar.  Silas debuted for the NWA at the Alwayz Ready PPV weekend several months ago.  The idea here is to work with MLW to showcase the NWA's relationships with outside promotions.

The NWA also announced this week that EC3 will debut for the promotion at NWA 74 weekend, which will take place the weekend of 8/27 at the Chase Ballroom in St. Louis, Missouri.  Both nights of NWA 74 will air on FITE.TV.

Announced thus far for the weekend:

*NWA Champion Trevor Murdoch vs. Tyrus.

*NWA Women's Champion Kamille vs. Taya Valkyrie.

*Bully Ray vs. Mike Knox in a Tables Match.

*Mildred Burke Invitational Gauntlet to crown next NWA Women's Championship contender.

*United States Tag Team Championship Battle Royal.

*NWA Women's Tag Team Champions Pretty Empowered vs. The Hex - Street Fight.

The NWA has allso announced that JJ Dillon and Baby Doll will be appearing at NWA 74 weekend.
