Battleground Championship Wrestling “Turn Up The Heat” in Philadelphia, PA - 2300 Arena

Brian Kendrick vs. VSK

The match begins with Kendrick going after the arm of VSK, VSK gets free and he wrenches away on the arm of Kendrick. Kendrick gets VSK down with a headlock before transitioning to a front headlock, VSK gets free and Kendrick gets him back down while working over his arm. Kendrick releases the arm of VSK before exchanging some slams with him, Kendrick misses a penalty kick before getting VSK down again with another headlock. VSK gets free and he nails Kendrick with a drop kick, VSK gets Kendrick up before cracking him with a European uppercut. Kendrick recovers and he gets VSK to the ring apron, VSK recovers and he knocks Kendrick out of the ring after landing a springboard code breaker. VSK follows up by nailing Kendrick with a suicide dive, VSK celebrates with the fans and Kendrick takes him down with a dive. Kendrick gets VSK back in the ring before landing a super kick and sliced bread for a near fall, Kendrick keeps VSK down while applying a bulldog choke to him. VSK gets free to hit Kendrick with a super kick followed by a double knee backbreaker for a near fall, VSK goes to the top rope and Kendrick makes him leap off.

Kendrick then nails VSK with multiple shots to the head for a near fall, VSK tries getting up and Kendrick kicks him in the head. Kendrick goes for sliced bread and VSK counters with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall, VSK gets Kendrick up for a Dude Buster and Kendrick gets free before a striking exchange takes place. VSK then nails Kendrick with a knee strike before eating an enziguri, VSK recovers and he nails Kendrick with a modified neck breaker for a near fall. VSK keeps Kendrick down while landing knee drops to his head, VSK goes to the top rope and he goes for a frog splash. Kendrick gets his knees up and he rolls up VSK for a near fall, Kendrick immediately applies the bulldog choke to VSK and VSK rolls him up to escape. VSK then hits Kendrick with a standing Spanish fly before Kendrick immediately traps him in a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Brian Kendrick

Ray Jaz vs. Facade w/Dani Mo

The match begins with Jaz scoring a quick takedown on Facade, Jaz again takes Facade down while jaw jacking with the fans. Jaz goes for another takedown and Facade counters with a roll up for a two count, Jaz quickly gets Facade down again while pulling his hair. Facade recovers and he nails Jaz with a few arm drags, Facade winds up doing a handstand on the top rope before getting down and dropping Jaz with a springboard arm drag. Facade follows up by hitting Jaz with a clothesline, Facade chases Jaz around the ringside area before Jaz grabs Mo. Jaz sends Mo into Facade and Facade responds by crotching him on the barricade, Facade gets Jaz down by nailing him with a side kick. Facade goes for a cannonball and Jaz moves to cause Facade to crash into the barricade, Jaz picks up Facade next and he drops him back first on the ring frame. Facade gets back in the ring and Jaz stomps away on him, Jaz follows up by nailing Facade with a suplex for a near fall. Jaz picks up Facade and he nails him with a back suplex for another near fall, Jaz keeps Facade down while landing crossface smashes and then applying a chin lock. 

Facade gets free and Jaz drops him with a back elbow strike, Jaz gets Facade in the corner before landing shoulder thrusts to his midsection. Jaz charges at a cornered Facade and Facade gets out of the way and that sends Jaz crashing into the ring post, Facade drops Jaz a few times before landing an atomic drop. Facade follows up by hitting Jaz with an inverted atomic drop followed by a spinning head kick, Facade then hits Jaz with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Facade goes to the top rope and Jaz quickly crotches him, Facade falls down and Jaz hits him with multiple northern lights suplexes for a near fall. Facade tries getting up while exchanging strikes with Jaz, Facade ends the exchange by nailing Jaz with a springboard head kick. Jaz leaves the ring and he also grabs a steel chair, Mo confronts Jaz and that allows Facade to knock Jaz into the barricade. Facade grabs the chair and he sets it up in the ring before taking Jaz out with a suicide dive, Facade gets Jaz in the ring before landing the Hyper Crush for a near fall. Facade goes for a coast to coast and Jaz gets out of the way, Jaz then rolls up a dazed Facade for a three count.

Winner: Ray Jaz

Beastman & Dark STG vs. Afa Jr. & Charlie Haas

The match begins with Haas eating a piece of pizza that was originally taken by Beastman, Haas then takes STG down with an arm drag. STG gets up and Haas gets him back down while applying a front headlock, STG gets free after placing Haas on the top turnbuckle. STG cracks Haas with a strike before eating more arm drags, Haas traps the arm of STG before tagging Afa Jr into the match. Afa Jr quickly nails STG with an axe handle smash to the arm, STG recovers and he nails a charging Afa Jr with a clothesline. Beastman tags in and Afa Jr quickly drops him before landing a senton, Beastman gets up and he exchanges strikes with Afa Jr. STG interferes and that allows Beastman to nail Afa Jr with a cross body block, STG tags in and he nails Afa Jr with a middle rope axe handle smash to the midsection. STG follows up by choking Afa Jr on the top rope before landing an elbow drop for a near fall, Beastman tags back in and he works with STG to hit Afa Jr with a double suplex. Beastman stands up Afa Jr while cracking him with more strikes, Afa Jr recovers and he drops Beastman after landing a middle rope moonsault. 

Haas tags in and he immediately gets sent out of the ring by an interfering STG, Haas gets back in the ring and he attacks Beastman by landing strikes. Beastman recovers and he nails Haas with a pop up slam for a near fall, Beastman follows up by choking Haas on the middle rope. STG tags in and he nails a downed Haas with a leg drop, Haas fights back and STG eventually drops him with a fall away slam for a near fall. Beastman tags back in and he nails Haas with a seated senton followed by a splash for a two count, STG tags back in and he nails Haas with some more strikes. Beastman tags in again and he misses an avalanche attempt against Haas, STG interferes and he is sent out of the ring. Afa Jr tags in and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, STG returns to attack Afa Jr and he helps Beastman nail Afa Jr with an avalanche. STG then accidentally hits Beastman with a spear before Afa Jr nails him with a top rope splash for a three count.

Winners: Afa Jr. & Charlie Haas

After the match, Dark STG looks to chop Beastman’s head off with an axe before Afa Jr. makes the save. 

Willie Mack vs. Rich Swann

The match begins with Swann getting Mack in a headlock, Mack gets free and he rolls through a Swann rana attempt. Mack follows up by dropping Swann with a rana, Swann and Mack then miss multiple drop kick attempts. Mack eventually gets Swann in a headlock and Swann gets free before eating a running knee strike, Mack picks up Swann before dropping him with a slap to the face. Swann recovers and he eventually drops Mack with a drop kick, Swann gets Mack in the corners while nailing him with strikes. Mack recovers and he knocks Swann out of the ring after landing a DDT, Mack follows Swann out of the ring before nailing him with some more strikes and a titty twister. Swann gets back in the ring and Mack follows him in there before landing more strikes, Mack sends Swann into the corner before landing an avalanche for a near fall. Mack again traps Swann in the corner before missing a charge in the corner, Swann briefly drops Mack before landing a rolling clothesline. Mack gets up and Swann nails him with a series of jabs, Swann gets Mack to a knee before kicking him in the head for a near fall. 

Swann again drops Mack before kicking him right in the back, Swann follows up by missing a middle rope phoenix splash attempt. Mack gets up and he nails Swann with a Samoan drop followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall, Mack charges at Swann and Swann nails him with multiple head kicks. Swann then hits Mack with a neck breaker followed by a running head kick for a near fall, Swann and Mack have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Mack seemingly injures his arm during the exchanges with Swann, Swann returns and he nails Mack with a head kick. Mack recovers and he nails Swann with a pop up forearm strike for a near fall, Mack goes for a stunner and Swann avoids it. Swann goes for a handspring cutter and Mack avoids it before landing a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Mack goes to the top rope and he misses a frog splash attempt. Swann then hits Mack with a handspring cutter for a near fall, Swann follows up with a phoenix splash for a three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

- The owner of the promotion makes his way to the ring for a special announcement, with that announcement being that the 2300 Arena will once more become the ECW Arena on December 17. The owner says the show is going to be a “Tribute To The Extreme,” plus Rob Van Dam will be inducted into the 2300 Arena Hall Of Fame. The owner announces that RVD will also face Rhino at the event, The Dudley Boyz will also reunite on that night. The owner also announces a bunch of ECW alumni will also be at the event.

Myka vs. Jazmin Allure

The match begins with Myka tripping up Allure while working over her arm, Allure gets up and Myka drops her again while controlling her arm. Allure gets free and she drops Myka while working over her arm, Allure drops Myka with a snap mare before eating a snap mare from her. Myka and Allure exchange some roll ups for a few near falls, Allure then drops Myka with a few arm drags and a headscissors takedown. Allure misses a charge in the corner before kicking Myka in the midsection, Allure then hits Myka with a middle rope elbow strike for a near fall. Myka sends Allure into the ropes before landing a side slam for a near fall, Myka keeps Allure down while landing knee strikes to her back. Myka traps the legs of Allure before nailing her with a curb stomp, Myka then traps Allure in the corner while choking her. Myka follows up by nailing Allure with a face wash for a near fall, Myka hangs Allure upside down in the corner before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall. Myka follows up by choking Allure on the middle rope, Myka releases that before catching Allure in the tarantula for a short time. Myka keeps Allure down while applying a chin lock to her, Allure gets free after nailing Myka with a jaw breaker followed by some kicks.

Allure goes to the top rope and she nails Myka with a high cross body for a near fall, Myka recovers and she nails Allure with a backstabber followed by a head kick for a near fall. Allure recovers and she hits Myka with a Tear Drop for the three count.

Winner: Jazmin Allure

Buddy Matthews & Tony Nese vs. Brian Cage & KC Navarro

The match begins with Matthews and Nese double teaming Cage in the corner right as the bell sounded, Navarro gets knocked to the arena floor during the madness. Cage fights back against both opponents before getting double teamed again, Matthews and Nese knock Cage to the arena floor. Matthews nails Cage with a penalty kick from the ring apron, Nese follows up by nailing Cage with a dive. Navarro returns and he gets trapped in the ring by both opponents, Navarro leaves the ring and he gets surrounded on the arena floor. Cage attacks Nese and Matthews so Navarro can get away from them, Cage sends both opponents into the barricades. Cage gets Nese back in the ring and Nese cracks him with a few strikes, Cage recovers and he nails Nese with a sit out power bomb. Cage traps Nese in the ropes while damaging his injured arm, Cage corners Nese before landing some strikes. Navarro tags in and Cage slams him onto Nese for a near fall, Nese tries fighting back and Navarro cracks him with a few strikes. Matthews argues with the ref while Nese gets double teamed in the corner, Cage tags in and he nails Nese with a delayed vertical suplex followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall.

Navarro tags back in and Nese catches him in a small package for a near fall, Navarro recovers and he stomps away on a downed Nese. Navarro follows up by landing a suplex on Nese for a near fall, Navarro keeps Nese down while applying a front headlock to him. Nese gets free and Navarro rolls him up for a two count, Matthews again argues with the ref while Cage tags in to attack Nese. Cage then drops Nese with a fall away slam, Navarro tags in and he gets on the shoulders of Cage before missing a splash attempt. Nese then sends Navarro out of the ring before nailing Cage with an enziguri, Navarro then prevents Matthews from tagging into the match. Cage tags back in and he gets Nese on the ring apron, Nese knocks Cage to the top turnbuckle while avoiding a superplex. Nese then gets Cage down after landing a rana, Navarro and Matthewsd are tagged into the match. Matthews immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Matthews nails Navarro with a top rope meteora for a near fall. Matthews sets up for Murphy’s Law and Navarro manages to avoid it, Matthews traps Navarro in the corner before eating a kick to the face.

Matthews catches a leaping Navarro and he nails him with a buckle bomb followed by a curb stomp for a near fall, Cage hits the ring and he gets trapped on the top turnbuckle. Matthews and Nese look for a double superplex before Navarro returns to create a tower of doom spot, a four way striking exchange then breaks out in the middle of the ring. Matthews makes Cage accidentally kick Navarro before Nese nails him with multiple super kicks, Nese then drops Navarro with a spinning heel kick before eating a lariat for Cage. Matthews then hits Cage with a curb stomp before eating multiple kicks from Navarro for a near fall, Navarro goes for a sliced bread on Matthews and Matthews counters before landing a draping DDT on Navarro. Matthews then hits Cage with Murphy’s Law before Nese lands a 450 splash on Navarro for a three count.

Winners: Buddy Matthews & Tony Nese

After the match, Buddy Matthews gets the microphone and he has members of the House Of Black rise to their feet. Matthews says he has one request and he has everybody sing happy birthday to Tony Nese, KC Navarro gets the microphone to interrupt the proceedings. Navarro says he is the guy now and he claims Matthews cheated during the match, Navarro says he doesn’t care if it is Nese’s birthday. Navarro then claims that Brian Cage is holding him back before slapping him multiple times, Cage drops Navarro before Murphy clocks Navarro with a knee strike. Nese slaps Navarro a few times before Cage nails him with an F5, Navarro gets the microphone again after everybody went backstage. Navarro again proclaims that he is a real star in professional wrestling, Matthews returns and he chases Navarro backstage.

- Before the next match begins, Ken Shamrock grabs the microphone and he praises the fans for their energy. Shamrock talks about his history with the Smith Family, Shamrock says he remembers when Harry Smith was ten years old. Shamrock talks about watching Harry grow up in the sport of pro wrestling, Shamrock tells Harry that the respect between them goes out of the window when the bell rings. 

Harry Smith vs. Ken Shamrock

The match begins with Smith kicking Shamrock in the midsection when Shamrock offers him a handshake, Smith sends Shamrock out of the ring before stomping away on him. Smith follows up by sending Shamrock into the barricade, Smith attacks the leg of Shamrock before sending him back in the ring. Smith gets in the ring before again stomping away on Shamrock, Shamrock trips up Smith and he goes for the ankle lock. Smith quickly counters and he looks for a heel hook on Shamrock, Smith gets to the ropes to break up all the submission attempts. Shamrock fights back again and he kicks at the ankle of Smith, Smith quickly recovers and he suplexes Shamrock for a near fall. Smith then smashes the leg of Shamrock on the mat before stomping away on it, Shamrock again rolls for the ankle of Smith and Smith gets to the ropes. Shamrock fights back and Smith cracks him with some more strikes, Smith then hits Shamrock with a slam for a near fall. Smith follows up by nailing Shamrock with a leg drop, Shamrock rolls for a knee bar and Smith quickly gets to the ropes.

Smith again hits Shamrock with a slam before going to the middle rope, Smith goes for a guillotine leg drop and Shamrock gets out of the way. Shamrock cracks Smith a bunch of strikes in the middle of the ring, Shamrock briefly drops Smith before landing a belly to belly suplex. Shamrock catches Smith in the ankle lock and Smith gets free before getting Shamrock in a sharp shooter, Shamrock gets to the ropes to break the hold. Smith then hits Shamrock with a power slam for a near fall, Smith goes for the sharp shooter and Shamrock counters with a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Ken Shamrock

Bully Ray & PCO vs. Atsushi Onita & FMW Leather

The match begins with PCO and Leather having a striking exchange while Onita goes after Ray, Ray corners Onita while landing some strikes. Leather sends PCO out of the ring and he follows him out there, Onita drops Ray with a chain shot. Onita attacks Ray with more chain shots before choking him with the chain, Onita releases the choke while landing more strikes on Ray. Onita leaves the ring and he returns with a steel chair, Onita then nails Ray with a multitude of chair shots. Onita follows up with a DDT on Ray, Onita and Ray leave the ring to join Leather and PCO on the arena floor. PCO throws Leather into the barricade while Onita does the same to Ray, Onita gets Ray back into the ring while Leather battles PCO on the arena floor. Leather gets in the ring and he double teams Ray alongside Onita, Ray fights back and he drops both opponents with a double clothesline. PCO returns and he nails both opponents with a double clothesline of his own, PCO and Ray send both of their opponents to the arena floor before PCO takes everybody out with a suicide dive. Ray grabs his chain and he chokes Onita with it on the arena floor, Onita recovers and he sends Ray into the crowd.

Onita gets Ray back in the ring and he returns to the ring with a guitar, Onita tries crushing Ray’s head with the guitar before landing a leg drop. Onita goes for a guitar shot and Ray steals the guitar before hitting Onita with it, Leather returns and he drops Ray. PCO gets back in the ring and Leather goes after him, Leather grabs the broken guitar and he stabs PCO with it. Onita grabs the barbed wire bat and PCO spears him through the barbed wire board, Ray returns and he quickly drops Leather. Ray attacks Onita with a few strikes before dropping him, PCO goes to the top rope and he nails Onita with an assisted swanton bomb for a near fall. Ray slams Leather before PCO nails him with a diving headbutt to the balls, Ray and PCO set up some tables on the arena floor before Leather is put on top of them. PCO puts Leather through the tables with a top rope swanton bomb, Ray sets up a table in the ring before Onita nails him with the barbed wire bat.

Onita traps Ray in the corner while attacking him with the barbed wire bat, Onita mounts Ray in the corner and Ray responds by power bombing Onita on the table. Onita manages to escape after the leg of the table gives out and he leaves the ring, Ray drags Onita back into the ring while PCO battles Leather on the arena floor. Ray gets Onita on the table before landing a top rope splash to put him through the table for a near fall, Leather chokes PCO with a chain on the arena floor. Ray goes for his chain and Onita spits mist in his face before landing a DDT for a near fall, Onita hits Ray in the head with a chair before landing another DDT for a three count.

Winners: Atsushi Onita & FMW Leather

After the match, Atsushi Onita gets the microphone and he teases an explosion match with Bully Ray. Onita starts chanting FMW before Ray gets the microphone, Ray says this is ECW country before revealing that he tore his hamstring.
