Paul Heyman appears on a special edition of The Mackmania podcast on The Ringer Wrestling Show feed on Spotify. Heyman discusses his status as "GOAT" taking the F5 at Summerslam, knowing when to change, Roman Reigns legendary title reign and future with The Rock. Heyman talks about Sunday's A&E documentary programming, ECW's role in the Monday Night War, working with Vince McMahon and more.
In regards to Vince McMahon, Heyman tells one of the first pieces of advice McMahon gave him when he took the role of Executive Director of Raw was "make sure you pick your successor, in case you drop dead". According to Heyman, Vince made it clear that even in the times of Vince's passing, the show must go on without him.
Heyman states that he is fully on board with the new regime and they should do their vision of WWE, but it is foolish for those to celebrate Vince being gone because it was his work ethic that made people a lot of money.
