BEING THE ELITE - TRIOS RECAP

Adam Cole is watching the promo from Dynamite where The Bucks are told by Cutler about the trios tournament where they talk to Hangman Page. He doesn’t look pleased.

Cutler is looking for and finds The Bucks and Christopher Daniels. Matt was in Hawaii and Nick in Las Vegas. Matt says he has a stinger and can’t wrestle so he doesn’t know why they’re at the show. 

Music video by Pretty Peter Avalon called “Hottest Boy in AEW."  

Matt Hardy is in the hallway looking for The Bucks. Jose The Assistant shows up saying he’s been ducking him. Jose said he wants his payment and chance to beat up Matt. Matt gives him $20 but says he didn’t do anything to harm Jose. He paid his penance to those he did wrong, he realizes he’s not a good man. Jose it not one of those he did wrong. He shakes his hand and kicks Jose in the balls. Says Jose is also not a good guy and he can keep the $20.

Clip from AEW of Ryan Nemeth and Peter Avalon from Dark. This transitions into Ryan at the premiere of “They/Them” a Peacock Original horror movie stating his girlfriend Anna Lore. 

The Dark Order are drinking with Hangman for his birthday party. They’re wasted except for Page who trying to figure out the present Uno gave him (it’s a clamp of some sort). Techno music is playing as Reynolds, Silver, 10 & Uno run around backstage. Uno sees Wheeler Yuta and punches him in the face and gets choked out immediately after Yuta gets up. Yuta high fives the other Dark Order guys and they laugh. Page is trying on glasses. Page is drinking water and bored by their drunken antics. 

Reynolds asks when they get to do the Threesome tournament. Uno says nobody cares about Dark Order. Page says being drunk and mopey was his thing not theirs. He says the Trios Tournament is perfect for them because they’re a true team. He says all four of them are good enough to be the trios champion. Uno pretends to barf which makes them all break character.
