GCW “The People vs. GCW” at Starrcast V - Nashville, TN - The Nashville Fairgrounds 7/29/22

GCW Extreme Championship: Scramble Match - AJ Gray (c) vs. Cole Radrick vs. The Grim Reefer vs. Shane Mercer vs. Marko Stunt vs. Axton Ray

The match begins with an all out brawl between every competitor in the match, Mercer and Gray clear most of the ring. Stunt goes after Gray and Mercer before eating a double shoulder tackle, Gray and Mercer exchange blows in the middle of the ring. Mercer then helps Reefer hit Gray with a tornado DDT, Reefer gets high before taking a bunch of competitors out with a dive from the top rope to the arena floor. Ray returns and he takes people out with a suicide dive, Radrick takes a bunch of folks out with a moonsault to the arena floor. Stunt dives at Mercer and Mercer catches him, Mercer tosses Stunt from the ring into some people in the crowd. Gray returns and he sends Mercer to the arena floor, Gray then takes a bunch of competitors out with a top rope dive to the arena floor. Gray gets Radrick back in the ring before going to the top rope, Gray then hits Radrick with a guillotine leg drop for a near fall. Reefer returns and he nails Gray with a middle rope side Russian leg sweep, Ray returns and he hits Reefer with a handspring clothesline. Mercer returns and he drops Ray with a combination, Stunt returns and he hits Mercer with a head kick and a code breaker.

Stunt goes for another code breaker on Radrick and Radrick blocks it before eating a chokeslam, Reefer returns and he sends Stunt into the corner before landing a piledriver. Ray goes after Reefer and he nails Reefer with a gut buster, Mercer returns and he gets Ray to the ring apron. Stunt goes after Mercer and Mercer gets him on his shoulders while climbing the ropes, Mercer then hits Stunt with Moonsault & Battery for a near fall. Gray returns and he nails Mercer with a head kick, Gray follows up by hitting Mercer with a buckle bomb followed by a lariat. Radrick returns and Gray hits him with a falcon arrow, Gray goes to the top rope and he misses a phoenix splash attempt. Radrick then hits Gray with a springboard stunner, Reefer returns and Radrick gets him out of the ring. Stunt returns and he nails Stunt with a double underhook piledriver for a three count.

Winner: Cole Radrick, your new GCW Extreme Champion

Tony Deppen vs. Mike Bailey

The match begins with Deppen attacking Bailey before the bell sounds, Deppen quickly follows up by nailing Bailey with a suicide dive. Deppen then sends Bailey arm first into the ring post, Deppen gets Bailey back in the ring before exchanging strikes with him. Bailey drops Deppen a few times to end the exchange, Bailey follows up by knocking Deppen out of the ring with Speedball Kicks. Deppen avoids a potential dive from Bailey before hanging him by his leg in the ropes, Deppen traps Bailey in the ropes while working over his arms. Deppen frees Bailey after nailing him with a forearm strike to the back of the head, Deppen keeps Bailey down while landing a knee drop to his injured arm. Bailey fights back and he nails Deppen with a running kick to the head, Bailey hits Deppen with a series of kicks before landing a twisting splash for a near fall. Deppen blocks a kick from Bailey before a striking exchange breaks out, Bailey winds up dropping Deppen before missing his follow up move. 

Bailey eventually knocks Deppen out of the ring after landing a head kick, Bailey follows up by hitting Deppen with a moonsault that sends both crashing to the arena floor. Bailey goes to the top rope and Deppen pushes the ref into the ropes to crotch him, Deppen climbs the ropes and he cracks Bailey with a few strikes before landing a double stomp for a near fall. Deppen follows up by nailing Bailey with an STO on the ring apron, Deppen gets Bailey back into the ring before landing a forearm strike to the back of the head for a near fall. Deppen looks for the chicken wing and Bailey gets free by rolling him up for a near fall, Bailey escapes a pin from Deppen to land a head kick followed by a moonsault double knee strike. Deppen again catches Bailey in a roll up before eating a super kick, Deppen rolls to the ring apron and he traps Bailey in the ropes before landing a springboard code breaker for a near fall. Deppen again looks for the chicken wing and Bailey gets free before a striking exchange breaks out, Bailey ends the exchange by nailing Deppen with a knee strike followed by a few head kicks for a near fall. 

Bailey goes for the spinning head kick and Deppen blocks it before getting him into a modified STF, Deppen releases the hold to hit Bailey with elbow strikes and a knee strike for a near fall. Deppen again goes for the chicken wing and Bailey gets free before rolling him up for a near fall, Deppen gets up and he nails Bailey with another knee strike. Bailey fires up before missing the Ultimate Weapon, Deppen then hits Bailey with a knee strike to the back of the head for a three count.

Winner: Tony Deppen

Nick Wayne vs. Alex Zayne

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Zayne and Wayne, Wayne ends the exchange by nailing Zayne with a standing Spanish fly. Zayne leaves the ring and Wayne takes him out with a suicide dive, Wayne gets Zayne back in the ring before landing a swanton bomb for a near fall. Wayne looks for a suplex and Zayne blocks it before landing a lariat, Zayne traps Wayne in the corner while landing some strikes. Wayne fights back and Zayne nails him with a power bomb for a near fall, Zayne again traps Wayne in the ropes while landing more strikes. Wayne fights back and he drops Zayne with a rana, Zayne recovers to trip up Wayne and kick him in the back of the head. Wayne tries fighting back again and he nails Zayne with a leaping European uppercut, Wayne then corners Zayne before landing a spinning head kick. Wayne then hits Zayne with a stunner followed by a fisherman suplex for a near fall, Wayne goes for the dragon suplex and Zayne avoids it before missing an enziguri. Wayne recovers to hit Zayne with a release dragon suplex followed by a destroyer for a near fall, Wayne goes to the top rope and Zayne attacks him. Zayne climbs the ropes and Wayne knocks him off, Zayne returns and he takes Wayne down with a rana.

Zayne then hits a cornered Wayne with a knee strike followed by a face plant for a near fall, Zayne looks for the Taco Driver and Wayne escapes before knocking him to the ring apron. Wayne also goes to the ring apron and Zayne gets him back into the ring, Zayne traps Wayne in the ropes before landing a flipping leg drop. Zayne gets back in the ring and Wayne nails him with a tornado DDT, Zayne and Wayne have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Zayne again goes for a Taco Driver and Wayne counters with a roll up before landing a super kick, Wayne goes for a Clout Cutter and Zayne blocks it before being rolled up for a three count.

Winner: Nick Wayne

Kommander, Laredo Kid & ASF vs. Gringo Loco, Black Taurus & Jack Cartwheel

The match begins with Taurus shoving Kid to the mat below, Kid gets up and he cracks Taurus with a few strikes. Kid follows up by dropping Taurus with an arm drag, Taurus misses a charge in the corner and Kid nails him with a top rope rana. Kid sends Taurus out of the ring and Loco gets in the ring, Kid quickly takes Loco down with a rana followed by a springboard arm drag. Loco fights back and Kid flips him off before eating a chop, Loco drops Kid again before landing a basement drop kick. ASF hits the ring and he takes Loco down multiple times with a head scissors takedown, Loco leaves the ring and ASF takes him out with a sucide dive rana. Cartwheel hits the ring and he attacks ASF before landing an enziguri, Cartwheel trips up ASF before landing a slingshot splash. Kommander hits the ring and he eventually drops Cartwheel with a rana, Taurus returns and he nails Kommander with a pop up Samoan drop. Kommander fights back and he gets Taurus on the ring apron, Loco returns and ASF also returns to drop him with a rana.

A striking exchange breaks out between all the competitors in the match, Taurus and Loco then hit Kommander and ASF with super press slams. Taurus then takes out a bunch of competitors with a suicide dive, Cartwheel returns and he takes out people with a suicide dive. Loco follows up by landing a suicide dive of his own, Taurus gets Kommander back in the ring so he can be triple teamed. Kommander fights back and Loco nails him with an inverted Michinoku Driver for a near fall, Kommander is sent out of the ring before ASF is triple teamed. Taurus eventually nails a leaping ASF with a spear before Loco nails him with a moonsault for a near fall, Kid hits the ring and he gets triple teamed as well. Kommander returns and he gets triple teamed again, everybody eventually makes it back into the ring before Cartwheel gets sent shoulder first into the ring post. Taurus accidentally takes out Loco before Kid sends him out of the ring, Kid then takes Taurus out with a dive before ASF does the same to Cartwheel. Kommander follows up by taking Loco out with a suicide dive, everybody is sent back into the ring before Kommander and teammates land a variety of splashes on their opponents for some near falls.

Cartwheel is left alone in the ring and he is triple teamed by Kommander and associates, Cartwheel fights back and he eventually nails Kommander with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Cartwheel goes for a brain buster and Kommander escapes before landing a Liger Driver for a near fall, Kommander goes to the top rope and Loco meets him up there to land a one man Spanish fly. ASF returns and he rolls up Loco for a near fall, Taurus hits the ring and he nails ASF with a bulldog followed by a gut buster for a near fall. Kid returns and he battles Taurus before nailing him with a destroyer for a near fall, Loco and Cartwheel return to send Kid out of the ring. Kommander battles Cartwheel and Loco before hitting Cartwheel with a poison rana, Loco then hits Kommander with an inverted Samoan drop. ASF returns to hit Loco with a destroyer, Taurus hits ASF with a back breaker before eating a crucifix bomb from Kid. Cartwheel returns and he drops someone during this madness and everybody is down, Kid sends Taurus out of the ring before taking him out with a top rope moonsault, Cartwheel returns and he takes people out with his own dive. ASF is back and he takes a bunch of people out with his own dive, Loco climbs the ropes and Kommander nails him with a sunset bomb. Kommander climbs the ropes and Loco crotches him before following him up there, Loco then hits Kommander with a super sit out power bomb. Cartwheel then hits Kommander with a top rope splash for a three count.

Winners: Gringo Loco, Black Taurus & Jack Cartwheel

Psycho Clown vs. Joey Janela

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Janela and Clown, Clown catches Janela in a roll up for a one count. Clown trips up Janela before landing an arm drag afterwards, Clown then hits Janela with a shoulder tackle. Janela fights back and he trades some strikes with Clown, Clown ends the exchange by clotheslining Janela out of the ring and to the arena floor. Janela and Clown have another striking exchange on the arena floor, Janela tries getting back in the ring and Clown gets him back to the arena floor while exchanging more strikes. Clown gets Janela back in the ring and Janela traps him in the ropes, Janela looks for a draping DDT and Clown counters with a roll up. Janela drops Clown before going to the top rope, Clown recovers and he knocks Janela to the arena floor. Clown follows up by nailing Janela with a suicide dive, Clown goes for another dive and Janela prevents it by landing a right. Janela then hits Clown with a suicide dive of his own, Janela follows up by sending Clown face first into a chair in the crowd. Janela looks to rip the mask off of Clown and he manages to rip some off the top, Janela grabs a chair and he hits Clown in the head with it a few times.

Clown starts going into the crowd while Janela throws a chair at him, Janela charges at Clown before landing an axe handle smash. Janela gets Clown out of the crowd and while nailing him with some more strikes, Janela makes some fans exit their chairs before sending Clown into the chairs. Janela gets Clown back in the ring before landing a fist drop, Janela again rips at the mask of Clown before pulling back on both of his arms. Janela briefly transitions to a body scissors on Clown while landing more strikes, Clown fights back and he drops Janela before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall. Clown gets Janela out of the ring again before landing another suicide dive, Clown follows up by throwing Janela into a bunch of chairs. Clown grabs a steel chair and he nails Janela in the head with it, Clown then leaps off of a chair and he lands on a seated Janela. Clown follows up by sending Janela balls first into the ring post, Clown gets Janela back into the ring before driving a chair into Janela’s testicular region. Clown follows up by driving the chair into the testicular region and ass crack of Janela for a near fall, Janela gets up and he trades a few strikes with Clown.

Clown ends the exchange by dropping Janela with a headbutt, Clown follows up by hitting Janela with a springboard cross body block followed by a kick to the midsection. Janela and Clown exchange some more strikes again until Janela drops Clown with a clothesline for a near fall, Clown recovers and he nails Janela with a power slam for a near fall. Janela leaves the ring and he returns with a door. Clown sets up the door in the corner before smashing Janela face first onto the door, Janela recovers and he manages to spear Clown through the door. Janela follows it up with a death valley driver on Clown for a near fall, Janela charges at Clown and Clown nails him with a chair shot to the head. Clown then hits Janela with a sit out piledriver followed by a lariat for a near fall, Clown leaves the ring and he returns with a bunch of chairs. Clown sets up some of the chairs in the corner before hitting Janela with another chair, Clown places Janela on the chairs before going to the top rope. Janela returns to attack Clown and he joins him on the ropes, Janela winds up nailing Clown with a superplex on the chairs for a near fall. Janela leaves the ring and he returns with a door of his own, Janela also grabs a steel chair and he attacks Clown with it. 

Janela sets up a door on some chairs in the corner of the ring, Janela places Clown on the door before going to the top rope. Clown gets up and he whips Janela with his belt before climbing the ropes, Clown then hits Janela with a Spanish fly through the door for a three count.

Winner: Psycho Clown

- Emil Jay introduces Starrcast’s own Conrad Thompson to the crowd before bringing Nick Gage to the ring, Gage gets the microphone and he wants to know where his gang is at. Gage talks about the Ric Flair’s Last Match show this Sunday Night, Gage talks about GCW not being featured on the card. Gage confronts Thompson and he asks why GCW isn’t on the Flair card, Gage says GCW is coming to the show on Sunday Night to take over and Thompson heads backstage. 

Jordan Oliver vs. Bandido 

The match begins with Bandido and Oliver going through a series of exchanges until Oliver gets to the ropes, Bandido and Oliver go through some more chain wrestling and nobody gains an advantage. Oliver goes for a Clout Cutter and Bandido blocks it from happening, Bandido hits Oliver with a knee to the midsection. Bandido corners Oliver before landing a few knee strikes to his midsection, Oliver recovers and he hits Bandido with a monkey flip followed by a chop. Oliver then knocks Bandido out of the ring after landing a missile drop kick, Oliver goes for a dive and Bandido kicks him in the head to prevent it. Bandido sends Oliver into the corner before landing shoulder thrusts to the midsection, Bandido then hits Oliver with a series of suplexes. Bandido goes to the top rope and he lands a frog splash on Oliver for a near fall, Oliver is sent to the ring apron before eating a right from Bandido. Oliver gets back in the ring and he attempts a sunset flip on Bandido, Bandido counters by catching Oliver in a few pin attempts for a few near falls. Oliver gets free and he rolls up Bandido for a near fall, Oliver then hits Bandido with a knee lift and Cleopatra. 

Oliver follows up by hitting Bandido with a super kick and springboard piledriver for a near fall, Bandido recovers and he hits Oliver with a one handed press slam followed by a knee strike for a near fall. Bandido nails Oliver with a few strikes before eating an enziguri, Bandido recovers and he nails Oliver with a double stomp to the back. Bandido and Oliver have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Bandido and Oliver exchange some pin attempts before Bandido nails Oliver with a face buster followed by a super kick. Oliver recovers and he nails a charging Bandido with a one man Spanish fly for a near fall, Oliver goes for a Clout Cutter and Bandido counters before eating an Acid Kick. Oliver follows up by nailing Bandido with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Bandido and Oliver have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Bandido ends that exchange by nailing Oliver with a pop up cutter for a near fall, Bandido traps Oliver in the ropes before Oliver sends him out of the ring. Oliver then hits Bandido with a suicide dive Clout Cutter, Oliver gets Bandido back in the ring to land a Clout Cutter for a three count.

GCW Tag Team Championship: Bussy (Allie Katch & Effy) (c) vs. The Second Gear Crew (Matthew Justice & Mance Warner) vs. Los Mazisos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo)

The match begins with Effy knocking Warner to the arena floor, Justice is sent out of the ring before Ciclope takes out a few people with a suicide dive. Extremo follows up with a moonsault onto a bunch of competitors on the arena floor, Katch then hits a bunch of people with a dive of her own. Effy gets Extremo in the ring and he double teams him alongside Katch, Extremo gets a double head hump from Bussy for a near fall. Bussy and Los Mazisos have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Warner and Justice drag Bussy out of the ring before attacking them with steel chairs. 2GC hit the ring before Warner leaves the ring to hit everybody with eye pokes, Justice then takes everybody out with a suicide dive. Justice grabs a cane from a fan and he attacks somebody with it, Katch grabs Extremo and she sends him into the ring post. Extremo grabs a cooking sheet and he hits Katch in the head with it, Ciclope backs Justice into the ring post before dropping a door on top of Effy. Extremo and Ciclope briefly double team Katch on the arena floor, Extremo grabs Warner and he sends him into the ring post.

Justice and Extremo have a battle with steel chairs on the arena floor, Effy grabs a steel chair and he nails Justice in the head with it. Katch gets in the ring and she hits Ciclope with the baking sheet, Warner gets in the ring and he throws a chair at the head of Katch. 2GC grab a door and they hit Effy with it, Justice finds another door and he hits Effy with it while Justice breaks the other door into a million pieces. Katch brings a knife into the ring and she manages to stab nobody with it, Ciclope returns to the ring by taking a bunch of people out with a top rope splash. Extremo then hits Justice with a top rope splash for a near fall, Extremo and Ciclope corner everybody while landing strikes on them all. Extremo and Ciclope put Warner and Katch on the top turnbuckle before eating chair shots, Los Mazisos are then hit with multiple Doomsday Devices for a few near falls. 2GC and Bussy have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Warner and Katch take out Justice and Effy with knee strikes. Katch and Warner then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring until Extremo and Ciclope take them out with chair shots, Los Mazisos leave the ring and they return with a box full of light tubes.

Los Mazisos first attacks Katch with multiple light tube shots, Effy returns and he nails Ciclope with a Sack Ryder. Katch then hits Extremo with a Pussy Piledriver for a near fall, Justice grabs a steel chair and he throws it at the head of Effy. 2GC then sets up a door on some chairs that were in the ring, Justice grabs a steel chair and he hits Katch with it. Justice then sets up chairs and light tubes on the door, Warner gets Katch on the ropes before Effy hits everybody with light tubes. Katch then power bombs Warner through the contraption while Effy hits Justice with a TKO for a near fall, Effy grabs a steel chair and he hits Justice in the head with it. Los Mazisos returns and they make Katch accidentally take out Effy, Katch then hits Extremo with a seated senton before eating a double stomp from Ciclope. Extremo then catches a leaping Effy and he hits him with a power bomb, Ciclope then hits Effy with a light tube moonsault for a near fall. Extremo then hits Effy with a 450 splash for a three count.

Winners: Los Mazisos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo), your new GCW Tag Team Champions

Kevin Blackwood vs. Masha Slamovich

The match begins with Blackwood scoring a takedown on Slamovich, Slamovich stays down and Blackwood gets a pin attempt. Blackwood looks for a bridge and Slamovich nails him with a chop, Blackwood trips up Slamovich again and Slamovich quickly goes after his arm before he gets to the ropes. Blackwood backs Slamovich into the corner and Slamovich slaps him in the face, Blackwood gets angry and he nails Slamovich with a few strikes. Slamovich gets up and she nails Blackwood with a clothesline for a near fall, Slamovich nails Blackwood with a snap mare before twisting his head. Slamovich goes after the arm of Blackwood and Blackwood backs her into the ropes to get free. Blackwood drops Slamovich before landing a double stomp. Blackwood follows up by hitting Slamovich with a back suplex for a near fall, Slamovich gets up and she cracks Blackwood with a series of kicks. Blackwood again drops Slamovich before landing a knee drop on her, Blackwood gets Slamovich in a seated position before kicking her in the back. Slamovich fights back and she hits Blackwood with an axe kick to the head, Slamovich then hits Blackwood with an up kick followed by multiple boots to the face and a spin kick for a near fall.

Slamovich goes for the White Knight Driver and Blackwood avoids it, Blackwood misses a double stomp attempt and then a piledriver attempt. Slamovich eventually hits Blackwood with a back body drop for a near fall, Slamovich misses a running knee strike and Blackwood gets to the ring apron. Blackwood gets Slamovich in a sleeper hold while using the ropes for leverage, Blackwood then kicks Slamovich in the head before landing multiple power bombs for a near fall. Blackwood gets Slamovich to her knees before attacking her with some more kicks, Slamovich blocks a kick before hitting Blackwood with a dragon screw leg whip. Slamovich and Blackwood have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Blackwood ends the exchange before trading suplexes with Slamovich. Blackwood recovers and he nails a charging Slamovich with a double stomp, both competitors get up and Blackwood nails Slamovich with a knee strike. Blackwood then hits Slamovich with a tombstone piledriver for a near fall, Blackwood goes to the top rope and he misses a double stomp. 

Slamovich then hits Blackwood with a back suplex and head kick, Slamovich then hits Blackwood with a piledriver for a near fall. Slamovich then gets Blackwood in the Death Wish and Blackwood taps out.

Winner: Masha Slamovich

GCW World Heavyweight Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Blake Christian

The match begins with Christian immediately nailing Moxley with a shotgun drop kick, Christian then nails Moxley with a spin kick to the midsection followed by an enziguri. Christian sends Moxley out of the ring before landing a suicide dive, Christian gets Moxley back in the ring before attempting a Phenomenal Forearm and eating a forearm strike instead. Moxley gets Christian to his knees before landing some chops on him, Christian lands on his feet after Moxley propelled him into the air. Christian sends Moxley out of the ring again before hitting him with another suicide dive, Christian nails Moxley with some strikes as they battle through the crowd. Moxley recovers and he sends Christian into a bunch of chairs, Moxley grabs Christian and he sends him through some more chairs. Moxley stands Christian up before nailing him with some knee strikes, Christian recovers and he sends Moxley into some chairs. Moxley recovers and he tosses Christian over the merchandise table, Moxley drags Christian on top of the tables and Christian knocks him down before landing an axe handle smash.

Moxley briefly sits on a chair before ripping away at the face of Christian, Moxley then drags Christian onto the ring apron. Christian recovers and he nails Moxley with a super kick, Moxley fights back and he shoves Christian into the ring post. Moxley gets back in the ring and he does so with a chair, Moxley drags Christian into the ring before attacking the cut on his head. Moxley gets Christian into the corner before landing a clothesline, Moxley then sends Christian head first into a chair he had previously set up in another corner. Moxley follows up with a release suplex on Christian for a near fall, Moxley leaves the ring and it is full of broken glass. Moxley wraps the glass around his hand while punching Christian, Moxley follows up by stabbing Christian with the broken glass. Moxley grabs a bunch of broken glass and he scrapes it on the forehead of Christian, Moxley starts focusing his attack on the leg of Christian. Moxley grabs a chair and he wraps it around the leg of Christian before stabbing him with more glass, Moxley climbs the ropes and Christian throws a chair at his head. 

Christian meets Moxley on the top rope and he nails him with a superplex, Christian and Moxley then take each other out with simultaneous cross body block attempts. Christian and Moxley then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Moxley ends the exchange by nailing a charging Christian with a lariat. Moxley then nails Christian with a piledriver before leaving the ring and returning with a door, Christian then hits Moxley with a suicide dive that also takes the door out. Christian gets Moxley back in the ring before landing a variety of knee strikes and a super kick, Moxley recovers and he nails a charging Christian with a cutter for a near fall. Moxley goes for a rear naked choke before attacking Christian with multiple elbow strikes for a near fall, Moxley grabs a kendo stick from a fan and he chokes Christian with it. Moxley also nails Christian with multiple kendo stick shots, Moxley then dumps the rest of the glass from the bucket in the ring. Moxley goes for the Paradigm Shift and Christian counters with a roll up for a near fall, Christian then hits Moxley with a standing Spanish fly and a springboard 450 splash for a near fall.

Christian gets Moxley back out of the ring before slamming him onto a door, Moxley gets back in the ring and Christian follows him in there before biting his forehead. Christian goes for a curb stomp and Moxley avoids it before curb stomping Christian into the glass, Moxley then hits Christian with a Paradigm Shift into the glass for a three count.
