WWE NXT UK REPORT: TWO TITLE MATCHES, THE BUILD FOR ANOTHER ONE NEXT WEEK, AND A PISSED OFF TYLER BATE

Your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We begin with a video package highlighting tonight’s show including an NXT UK Tag Title Match, a grudge match between Amale and Blair Davenport, and the NXT UK Men’s Championship match.

Match Number One: Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs versus Mark Andrews and Wild Boar for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships

Jensen and Boar start things off and Boar goes for the leg but Jensen puts Boar in the rope and gives a clean break. They go for a test of strength and they lock up. Boar with a wirst lock. Andrews tags in and he goes up top and hits a boot to the arm. Andrews with a wrist lock. Jensen gets Andrews up but Mark escapes. Boar tags in and Andrews with a Tiger Feint Kick and dragon screw in the ropes. Boar with a dragon screw into the corner. Boar with another dragon screw and Briggs tags in. Jensen with leap frogs with no signs of damage to the leg and then him and Briggs hit a double shoulder tackle.

Briggs and Jensen slide to the floor to punch Boar. Andrews tags in and goes for a springboard move but Briggs catches Andrews. Andrews gets to his feet and hits a drop kick. Andrews with a wrist lock and Briggs goes for a slam but Andrews holds on to the wrist lock to escape. Andrews escapes another slam attempt. Jensen tags in and Briggs tosses Andrews to Jensen for a power slam. Jensen with an elbow drop to the back and he gets a near fall. Jensen with a reverse chin lock and Andrews with punches but Jensen with a forearm to the back. Andrews with a jaw breaker and forearm followed by a chop. Jensen runs Andrews into the corner and he clotheslines Andrews. Briggs tags in and he applies a reverse chin lock. Briggs with a forearm to the lower back. Andrews with punches and Jensen tags in. Andrews with chops to Briggs but Briggs with a forearm and he sends Andrews into the corner.

Jensen with a forearm and snap mare and forearm to the lower back. Jensen gets a near fall. Jensen with a rear chin lock. Andrews with punches and Jensen with a forearm to the back. Andrews escapes a splash from Jensen and Briggs tags in. Briggs tosses Andrews to Jensen again and Andrews with Stundog Millionaire to Jensen and then Andrews makes the tag to Boar.

Boar knocks Jensen off the apron and then he punches Briggs. Boar with a clothesline but it does not move Briggs. He does it again for the same result. Briggs with a back elbow but he misses an elbow drop. Boar with a seated splash for a near fall. Boar with a back senton for a near fall. Boar sets for a waist lock but Briggs blocks a German suplex with a back elbow. Briggs backs Boar into the corner and Jensen tags in. Boar with a waist lock on Jensen and Jensen with an elbow. Andrews tags in and he kicks Jensen. Andrews with a drop kick to assist on the German suplex but Boar. Boar tags in and Andrews drop kicks Briggs to the floor. Boar with a frog splash for a near fall. Boar with a running shoulder into the corner and he sets for another one but Jensen with a clothesline. Briggs tags in and he this a running boot. Andrews tags in and Briggs tries for a delayed vertical suplex but Andrews with Stundog Millionaire. Andrews drop kicks Jensen off the apron and then Andrews goes up top for a shooting star press but misses it. Jensen tags in and they hit the high low combination for the three count.

Winners: Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs (retain championship)

After the match, Briggs shows respect to his challengers.

Ilja Dragunov is in the back as he prepares for his match tonight.

We go to Tyler Bate from after last week’s show and he sees a cameraman. He tells Trent that he broke his heart. He says he loved him like a brother. He says he is coming for Trent.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage from a press conference for Meiko Satomura and Sarray, who will be meeting next week for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

Sarray says that Meiko is recognized all over the world and she says she is not going to stay down forever. She says she will become the NXT UK Women’s Champion. She says she is the sunrise and Meiko is the sunset.

Meiko says everyone tries to beat her but she cannot. She says she will remain the strongest until she is beaten.

Match Number Two: Blair Davenport versus Amale

They lock up and go to a stalemate. Blair misses a boot and Amale with arm drags and a kick followed by a rollup for a near fall. Blair with a kick and side head lock. Amale with a back elbow and a screaming bicycle kick. Amale with a screaming drop kick for a near fall. Amale sends Blair into the turnbuckles and misses a face wash in the corner. Blair with a slam and kick to the chest. Blair kicks Amale to the floor.

Davenport follows Amale to the floor. Amale Irish whips Blair into the ringside barrier but misses a running boot and gets caught on the ringside barrier. Davenport sends Amale to the floor and then back into the ring. Blair gets a near fall. Davenport with shoulders to send Amale to the mat. Blair with an arm bar. Amale with punches and Davenport with a knee to the midsection. Davenport with a shoulder tackle for a near fall.

Blair with a Million Dollar Dream but Amale gets back to her feet. Amale backs Blair into the corner to escape. Davenport kicks Amale to the mat and then goes for a drop kick and does not fully connect. Amale with a clothesline and back elbow followed by a forearm into the corner. Blair kicks Amale in the head and Blair misses a double stomp off the turnbuckles and she appears to have reinjured her ankle. Amale with a bulldog for a near fall. Amale with a waist lock and Davenport with elbows to escape and a round kick for a near fall.

Blair sets for a suplex but Amale escapes. Amale with a German suplex and a face wash for a near fall. Amale goes for the Hope Breaker but Blair blocks it and gets a near fall. Blair with a knee and a Falcon Arrow for the three count.

Winner: Blair Davenport

We go to Wolfgang in the back with the Coffeys as he prepares for his match later tonight.

We go to Oliver Carter. He says that since you have been trying to invite him to Die Familie, he decided to make his own dinner for them. Since you jumped me, the battle is still on. I said I would run through you all. Rohan, you are next.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we go to Sha Samuels. Sha talks about losing everything and someone takes his shoes from him.

We see Sha giving his jacket to someone to pay off a debt. We see him giving away another jacket and his hat.

He is asked how he is doing and Sha mentions he lost his money while Noam has lost his cup. Sha is given another ticket from the match and he gives away his last jacket.

We go to Chase University and we see more photos of their tour of London and they will be on NXT UK next week.

Next week, Oliver Carter faces Rohan Raja.

Match Number Three: Ilja Dragunov versus Wolfgang for the NXT UK Men’s Championship

They lock up and Wolfgang backs Dragunov into the corner and he gives a clean break. Wolfgang lets Dragunov get out of the corner. They lock up and Dragunov tries to back Wolfgang into the corner but Wolfgang gets Dragunov into the corner and they break again. Dragunov with a side head lock and Wolfgang with a reversal and take down. Dragunov with a head scissors and Wolfgang escapes. Dragunov with a side head lock take down.

Dragunov goes for a shoulder tackle but Wolfgang does not move. Dragunov with a side head lock and shoulder rackles that have no effect. Wolfgang sends Dragunov to the mat with a shoulder tackle. Wolfgang with a slam but Dragunov with a kick and Dragunov with a hip lock take down into a side head lock. Wolfgang with a rollup for a near fall. Dragunov with an arm drag take down. Dragunov with a front face lock and Wolfgang escapes. Dragunov goes for the legs. Dragunov gets Wolfgang up but his back gives out. Dragunov bleeds from his ear and Wolfgang with forearms to Dragunov. Dragunov with forearms.

Wolfgang sends Dragunov into the turnbuckles and Dragunov with a kick and he goes for a running knee into the corner but Wolfgang catches Dragunov and tosses Dragunov into the turnbuckles. Wolfgang with knees to the back and an elbow drop. Wolfgang with a rear chin lock with his knee in Dragunov’s back. Wolfgang with an elbow drop to the back. Wolfgang goes for a Boston Crab but Dragunov holds on to the leg to block it and he kicks Wolfgang away. Dragunov goes for a matrix and he collapses to the mat.

Wolfgang with a running elbow drop for a near fall. Wolfgang stands over Dragunov and he kisses Dragunov on the forehead before he connects with a forearm. Dragunov with a slap and Wolfgang with a snap mare and kick to the back. Dragunov with forearms and slaps but as he hits the ropes he collapses to the mat. Wolfgang throws Dragunov into the ropes and he collapses to the mat. Wolfgang with an elbow drop for a near fall. Wolfgang with an Irish whip and Dragunov falls to the mat. Dragunov blocks an Irish whip and he tries to slam Wolfgang but he collapses under Wolfgang’s weight and Wolfgang gets a near fall with a lateral press. Wolfgang with a waist lock. Dragunov with elbows and a spinning back fist to the head and leg followed by the back. Dragunov goes for a deadlift German suplex but Wolfgang blocks it. Wolfgang avoids an enzuigiri and connects with a forearm to the lower back. Dragunov with an enzuigiri and both men are down.

Dragunov with a running knee into the corner but he cannot take advantage of the situation because he appears to have also hurt his ankle. Dragunov goes to the turnbuckles and hits a knee drop. Dragunov sets for a suplex but Wolfgang blocks it. Dragunov with elbow strikes and a back senton. Dragunov with running clotheslines and Wolfgang stays on his feet and Wolfgang with a clothesline of his own for a near fall. Wolfgang gets Dragunov up on his shoulders in a torture rack and hits a back breaker for a near fall.

Wolfgang sets for a suplex but Dragunov blocks it and takes Wolfgang to the mat. Wolfgang goes for a suplex and Dragunov counters with a rollup and forearm for a near fall. Dragunov rolls to the apron and struggles to go up top. Dragunov with a back senton off the turnbuckles and Dragunov is in more pain than Wolfgang. Both men get back to their feet and Wolfgang with an elbow and a Caber Toss for a near fall. Wolfgang goes to the apron and he goes up top.

Wolfgang pulls up Dragunov and Dragunov with forearms and elbows. Wolfgang with a head butt that sends Dragunov to the mat. Wolfgang slingshots into the ring but Dragunov with a jumping knee. Dragunov sets for a suplex and eventually hits it. Dragunov sets for Torpedo Moscow and hits it for the three count.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov (retains championship)

After the match, Dragunov offers his hand to Wolfgang and helps the challenger up. Wolfgang shakes Dragunov’s hand after saying something to the champion.
