7/27 NEW JAPAN G1 CLIMAX 32 RESULTS FROM TOKYO, JAPAN

From Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan:

1 - Yuto Nakashima and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. SHO and EVIL, with Dick Togo

SHO forces Nakashima to tap out to a cross arm breaker.

2 - Royce Isaacs and Tom Lawlor vs. El Phantasmo and KENTA

ELP pins Isaacs after a CR2.

3 - Bad Dude Tito and JONAH vs. Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb

O-Khan hits a back breaker on Tito and locks him in a Sheep Killer.  Tito taps out.

4 - Ryohei Oiwa, David Finlay, YOSHI-HASHI and Kazuchika Okada vs. Gedo, Chase Owens, Juice Robinson and Jay White

Owens pins Oiwa after a C-Trigger.

Owens and White tease dissention after the match.  White and Owens will face each other in the B Block.

5 - BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito vs. TAKA Michinoku, Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr. and Lance Archer

TAKA taps out to SANADA's Skull End.

Archer was limping back to the locker.

G1 Climax 32 Matches:

6 - D Block: Will Ospreay vs. Yujiro Takahashi

Yujiro comes to the ring alone.   Pieter follows after him.   Yujiro looks upset at her.  She asks for forgiveness and they hug.  Pieter does her thing in the ring.

Yujiro surprises Ospreay with a kick to the gut.  Ospreay counters with a flying forearm.   Yujiro goes to the floor.  Ospreay misses a plancha and Yujiro hits a reverse DDT on the floor.  Yujiro throws Ospreay in the ring and keeps him grounded with kicks and strikes.   Slower pace works to Yujiro’s advantage.   Ospreay bounces off the ropes with a flipping spin kick.  Ospreay hits springboard forearm.  Two count.  Ospreay goes for a standing Shooting Star Press but Yujiro lifts his knees.   Yujiro with a basement drop kick and a boot to the face.  Yujiro hits a Fisherman Buster.  Two count.   Ospreay with an enzugiri.  Yujiro with an Olympic Slam.  They fight to the top rope.  Yujiro gets knocked to the mat.  Ospreay with a forearm to the back of the head.   Ospreay with a 450 splash.  Two count.  Ospreay goes for the Hidden Blade but Yujiro pulls the referee in front.  

Ospreay pushes him aside and Yujiro hits a low blow.  Yujiro hits Miami Shine.  Two count.  Yujiro hits a Satellite DDT and follows with Pimp Juice.  Two count!!!  Yujiro goes for Big Juice but Ospreay hits a forearm to the face.   Ospreay with a hook kick.   Yujiro blocks an Oscutter.  Ospreay counters Big Juice with a pop up forearm.  Ospreay hits a Hidden Blade.

Ospreay pins Yujiro.

Will Ospreay earns 2 points, with 4 points total.

Yujiro was solid in this match.  He kept up with Ospreay and they told a good story.

7 - A Block: Toru Yano vs. Bad Luck Fale

Yano attacks Fale with elbows.  Fale absorbs them and  lays out Yano with his own.  Yano tries to bait Fale to fight him on the floor.   Fale waits in the ring.  Yano runs back into the ring to avoid the count out.   Yano starts slapping Fale in the head and calls him “stupid”.  Fale looks pissed and Yano runs out of the ring again.  

Fale follows and Yano tries to go under the ring.  Fale pulls him out by the leg and Yano splashes him in the eyes with liquid in a water bottle.   Yano goes back to the ring and takes off a turnbuckle pad.  Fale takes the pad away and beats Yano with it.  Fale goes for a Hand Grenade.  Yano counters with a low blow and a back slide.  He did not get the full kick and Fale pushes Yano into the open metal bolt in the corner.  Fale with a school boy pin.

Fale pins Yano.

Bad Luck Fale earns 2 points and 4 points total.  He is now tied with Kazuchika Okada.

8 - C Block:  Hirooki Goto vs. Aaron Henare

Both men tried to match power with shoulder tackles. Goto takes Henare down with a headlock.   Henare goes after Goto’s left arm with a double wrist lock.  Goto grabs the ropes.  Henare punches Goto in the gut and drops him with a shoulder tackle.  They fight to the floor and throw each other into guardrails.   Back in the ring, Henare hammers Goto with punches and comes off the ropes with a spin kick to the chest.   Henare goes for Goto’s leg and a submission.   Henare with a curb stomp.  Goto fights back with spinning leg lariat and a running bulldog.  Two count.

They exchange punches and Goto is floored by a Henare kick to the chest.  Henare with a high knee and a Samoan Drop.  Henare with a Senton from the second rope.  Two count.  Henare goes for Ultima but Goto blocks it.  Goto hits an ushigaroshi, followed by a reverse GTR and a lariat. Two count.   Goto hammers Henare with elbows.  Henare plants Goto with a Berzerker Bomb.  

Both men exchange elbows.  Goto with open hand slaps.   Henare with punches to the gut. Goto blocks a kick but Henare hits a knee to the face.   Henare hits a Rampage.  Two count.  Henare applies the Ultima.   Goto tries to break the hold.  Henare goes for Streets of Rage but Goto slides out.  Henare hits a wicked roundhouse kick.  Henare charges Goto who avoids the attack and hits a Shoto.  Both men are down and exhausted.  Goto hulks up and throws a kick to Henare’s chest.  Goto hits a GTW.  Two count!!!!

Goto picks up Henare and hammers him with a GTR.

Goto pins Henare.

Hirooki Goto earns 2 points and 4 points total.  He is tied with Zack Sabre Jr. in the C Block.

Great match!  I applaud both men because Henare looked like a beast and Goto had to use all his big moves to beat him.   Henare is building his name in this G1 Climax.  A showdown between ZSJ and Goto is coming next week, which should be good.

9 - B Block:  Tomohiro Ishii vs. Tama Tonga, with Jado

Stiff match.  Both babyfaces but they were not shy about beating each other to a pulp.  They exchange elbows and chops.  Ishii hits a Superplex.   Ishii goes for a powerbomb and Tama reverses into a Tongan Twist.   Tama hits a big drop kick.  Ishii goes for a powerbomb again but Tama takes him down with a Frankensteiner.  Tama with an Death Valley Driver and goes to the top rope for a Supreme Flow.   Two count.  Ishii blocks a Gun Stun.   Tama bounces off the ropes and tries for another Gun Stun. Ishii catches him and plants him with a back suplex.   

They exchange elbows and uppercuts.   Ishii with a powerbomb.  Two count.  Ishii with an enzugiri and a lariat.  Two count.  Ishii goes for a brainbuster but Tama reverses into Gun Stun, but Ishii blocks that.  Tama hits Villano (jumping DDT).   Ishii avoids another Gun Stun.  Tama hits a Sliding Lariat.  They exchange headbutts.  Ishii headbutts Tama in the jaw.  Tama hits Ishii with elbows.  Tama hits a brainbuster.  Two count.  Tama with a TKO.  Two count.  Ishii with a TKO of his own.  Ishii with a lariat.  Two count.  Ishii finally connects with a brainbuster.

Ishii pins Tama.

Tomohiro Ishii earns his first 2 points.  

Tough loss for Tama Tonga.  Jay White stays in the lead of B Block with 4 points.  5 others are tied at 2 points.
