CAN YOU BET ON WWE IN MICHIGAN?

By Kendall Jenkins on 2022-08-04 07:52:00

Every professional sport has a major annual event. This year has marked the 38th WrestleMania for World Wrestling Entertainment, much like the Super Bowl for the NFL. With millions of viewers globally, "The Grandest Stage Of Them All" has a close relationship with the state of Michigan.

There is some unfortunate news: Michigan sports gamblers are unable to legally wager on WWE events. However, with a free-to-play pool from DraftKings Sportsbook MI, you’d still be able to win some money. If you are unfamiliar with WWE or WrestleMania, the WrestleMania weekend was a great time to brush up on your knowledge, dust off the old tapes, and win some money.

Sure, it is sports entertainment rather than an actual sport, but different factors affect the outcomes and seeing how unpredictable the company’s direction in terms of creative plans can be - match results can be quite surprising.

DraftKings and Wrestling

The two main wrestling shows every year are WrestleMania and Royal Rumble, with Summerslam and Survivor Series also being a part of the “big four PPVs”. However, it is the excitement of the outcome of the Royal Rumble which makes it great for betting.

For both men's and women's Royal Rumbles this year, DraftKings Sportsbook has joined the fun and offered a free Royal Rumble Pool that you were able to join.

You had to respond to eight questions in advance of the event for each pool. Participants were able to win their part of the $10,000 pool for the women's rumble and the $25,000 pool for the men's if they responded correctly.

If one was fortunate enough to win both, they would have been able to come out with $1,500 in their pocket without having to spend a dime. Even if you're not a fan of wrestling, this was a great opportunity to win some money, we hope that DraftKings is going to repeat this for next year’s PPVs.

For Night 2's main event of WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar, DraftKings was providing a free-to-play pool, similar to what it did for the Royal Rumble. They granted $25,000 in prizes to winners, with the first place coming out with $1000 in their pocket. It was as simple as going to DK's pool website, finding the contest, and answering eight questions.
