7/23/22 Results from New Japan's G1 Climax 32 From Ota City, Tokyo:

Ryohei Oiwa, David Finlay and Hirooki Goto vs. El Phantasmo, Juice Robinson and KENTA

Juice Robinson is in full heel mode screaming obscenities during the match.

ELP hits Oiwa with Sudden Death.

ELP pins Oiwa.

After the match, Bullet Club attacks the young lions and lay them out.

Bad Dude Tito and JONAH vs. Royce Isaacs and Tom Lawlor

Kevin Kelly said the autograph lines for Team Filthy were very long earlier in the day.

Lawlor ties up Tito in a St. Andrews Cross.  Tito submits.

Cool submission by Lawlor.  Lawlor has great charisma and is slowly getting over with the Japanese crowd.

TAKA Michinoku, Taichi and Lance Archer vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale

Yujiro pins TAKA after hitting Pimp Juice.

 Great O-Khan, Jeff Cobb and Will Ospreay vs. Dick Togo, SHO and EVIL

O-Khan taps out Togo to the Sheep Killler.

Jado, Tama Tonga and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. BUSHI, SANADA and Tetsuya Naito

SANADA forces Jado to submit to Skull End.

G1 Climax 32 Matches:

C Block:  Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Aaron Henare

Henare started early with strikes and power.  ZSJ tried to go for a submission.  Henare got the advantage with a shoulder tackle and quick strike attacks.   Henare stomped on him and ZSJ went for an ankle submission.  Rope break.  Henare kept pounding on ZSJ until ZSJ caught him with a neck twist.  ZSJ applied a Cobra Twist.  Henare powers out.   Henare throws a kick, but ZSJ catches the leg and applies an ankle submission.   Rope break.  The fight to the floor and Henare battered ZSJ on the guardrails. ZSJ applies a Dragon Sleeper on the floor.  Henare powers him up into a vertical suplex on the mat.  ZSJ is clutching his ribs.   ZSJ had problems with his ribs in the New Japan Cup earlier in the year.

Back in the ring, Henare hits a running high knee and follows with a Berzerker Bomb.   Two count.   Henare goes for a Rampage, but ZSJ blocks it.  He hits Henare in the face with open hand slaps.  Henare rocks ZSJ in the head with an elbow.  Henare goes for a roundhouse kick, but ZSJ takes him down and stomps on his hamstrings.   ZSJ lays in stiff kicks to the chest.  Henare hulks up.   ZSJ with a running kick to the chest.  Henare pops up and drops ZSJ with a Rampage.   Two count.   Henare hits a senton from the second rope.  ZSJ crawls away in pain, clutching his ribs.   Henare goes for Ultima.   ZSJ reverses out and rolls up Henare in a Euro Clutch.  Henare reverses and traps ZSJ in Ultima.   Henare pulls ZSJ into a standing position with Ultima still on.  ZSJ slides out and tries for a submission.  Henare pulls him up and tries for Ultima again.  ZSJ hits Henare in the face with elbows. ZSJ goes for a running attack but Henare punching him in the ribs.  ZSJ crumbles to the mat in pain.  Henare lifts ZSJ into the Streets of Rage,  but ZSJ slides out and takes him down by the leg.  ZSJ applies an Achilles submission.   

Henare taps out.

Zack Sabre Jr. earns 2 points, with a total of 4 points.

After the match, Henare ripped off his boot and socks and demanded an ice pack for his ankle.  Henare was pissed and wanted to continue the fight.   ZSJ rolled to the floor and screamed at the young lions for an ice pack for his ribs.  ZSJ had a young lion carry him back to the locker room. Henare pushes the young lions away and walks back to the locker on his own, while the crowd applauds.

Good match.  Henare looked like a monster and Zack sold for his moves.  Zack still gets the win with his submission mastery.   Both men looked strong after this match.

 D Block:  YOSHI-HASHI vs. Shingo Takagi

YOSHI-HASHI takes Takagi to the floor and Takagi is thrown into the guardrail.   Takagi wrenches YOSHI-HASHI’s arm over the ropes and on smashes the arm on the ring apron.   Takagi works over the arm with submissions.   YOSHI-HASHI counters with a Headhunter and a neck breaker.  Takagi kicks out at two.   Takagi hits an elbow to the face and a lariat.  Takagi with a neck breaker and a two count.   Both men exchange strikes and lariats.  YOSHI-HASHI hits a Dragon Suplex.  Takagi with a Sliding Lariat.   Takagi hits a Superplex off the top rope.   Both men to hurt to make a cover.   

YOSHI-HASHI goes for Karma.  Takagi reverses out and hits Made in Japan.  Two count.  Takagi goes for Last of the Dragon, but YOSHI-HASHI counters into a Back Cracker.  They exchange strikes.   Takagi hits a Pumping Bomber.   Two count.  Takagi goes for another Last of the Dragon but YOSHI-HASHI plants him with a DDT.   YOSHI-HASHI hits a running to Takagi’s head.  They exchange brutal chops and elbows.  Takagi with a headbutt.   Takagi goes for a lariat but YOSHI-HASHI picks him up and hits Karma. Both men are laid out and exhausted.    YOSHI-HASHI is slow to cover.  Two count.   Both men get to their feet.  YOSHI-HASHI hits elbows and chops and a super kick.  YOSHI-HASHI nails a Destroyer then a Kumagaroshi.   Two count.   YOSHI-HASHI with a big lariat and goes for another Karma.  Takagi reverses into a Ground Cobra pin.

Wow, another good match.  I thought YOSHI-HASHI had this match won. 

A Block:  Kazuchika Okada vs. Toru Yano

Yano comes out with his heel persona.  No personal advertising in his entrance.

Yano attacks Okada before the bell.  The go to the floor and Yano bounces Okada off the rails.  Yano hits Okada with a chair.   Okada fights back and bounces Yano off the rails.   Yano trips Okada who goes head first into a chair.  Okada is almost counter out.   Yano takes off a turnbuckle pad and throws Okada into the metal bolt.  Okada comes back with a neck breaker.  Okada with a running elbow and a DDT.   They trade strikes.   Okada with a neck breaker and a top rope elbow.  Okada goes for a Rainmaker but Yano hits an Onigoroshi.  Two count.   Yano brings a chair in the ring.  Okada hits a DDT on the chair.   Okada goes for another Rainmaker but Yano sprays some liquid in Okada’s face.  Yano with a chop block and a roll up.  Two count.  Yano with a sunset pin.  Two count.  Yano tries a low blow, but Okada blocks it.  Yano with an eye rake.  Okada hits a drop kick.  Okada applies a Money Clip and pushes Yano face first to the mat.   

Yano taps quickly.

Kazuchika Okada earns 2 points and 4 points total.

B Block:  Tomohiro Ishii vs. Jay White

Ishii and Gedo have words before the match.  White takes Gedo behind the guardrail and puts out two chairs.  He tells Gedo to sit and put up his feet and he will take care of Ishii.   Back in the ring, Ishii take White down with a shoulder tackle.  White jumps out of the ring and tries to make Ishii chase him.  Ishii does not take the bait.   White starts yelling and daring Ishii to come get him.  Ishii slowly walks outside the ring and follows.  White backs away, baiting Ishii to come and fight him.  White grabs another chair and screams at Ishii to fight him.  The referee argues with White over the chair.   Gedo throws one of the chairs over the guardrail into Ishii’s head.   

White throws Ishii into the guardrail.  White brings Ishii in the ring. White suplexes him into the turnbuckle.  White goes for a half crab and Ishii grabs the ropes.  White chokes Ishii with the ring decoration.   White stomps Ishii in the gut.  Ishii hits a power slam.  He corners White and hammers him with chops and elbows.   Ishii hits a Saito Suplex.  Two count.  White plants Ishii with a DDT.  White drives shoulders into the gut.  White drags Ishii to the floor, picks him up for a suplex and drops him gut first on the ring apron.  Ishii screams in pain.   White with a Bladebuster.  Two count.  Ishii hits a shoulder block sending White to the floor.  Ishii throws White back in the ring.  White with a Complete Shot and a deadlift German suplex.  White hits a uranagi.  Two count.   White hammers Ishii in the corner with  chops and elbows.   White hits a Superplex.  Ishii screams in pain and he powers up and hits and running shoulders block.  White bumps off the turnbuckle.   Ishii picks up White and hits his own Superplex.  Two count.   Ishii with a Sliding Lariat.  Two count.  Ishii with a release German suplex.  Gedo jumps on the apron.  Ishii knocks him to the floor.   Ishii goes for a brainbuster but White reverses and hits a brainbuster of his own.  Ishii hulks up and White takes him down with a lariat.   Ishii tries to hulk up again be he collapses to the mat.   They exchange chops and forearms.  They hit a bunch of reversals.   Ishii hits a headbutt and a powerbomb.  Two count.   They exchange reversals.   White hits two Sleeper suplexes.  Ishii hits one of his own.   Ishii flattens White with a lariat.  Two count.  Ishii lifts White into a brainbuster, but White rolls out and hits Bladerunner.

White pins Ishii.

Jay White earns 2 points and gets to 4 points total.

Great match.  Both men know each other well and they told a good story in the ring.
