WWE NXT UK REPORT; ONE WEEK UNTIL TWO TITLE MATCHES, AND MORE

Your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We begin with a look back at last week’s Heritage Cup Championship Match when Mark Coffey ended Noam Dar’s reign.

We see Gallus celebrating in the back.

Match Number One: Isla Dawn versus Fallon Henley

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and go to another stalemate. Dawn with a kick and slap. Henley with forearms but Dawn with a kick. Fallon with a back elbow and kick to the midsection. Henley blocks a hip toss and Dawn with a front face lock. Henley with a snap mare and she slides to the floor and connects with a forearm. Henley gets a near fall. Henley with forearms to the back and Dawn escapes a slam. Henley with an Iris whip.

Dawn avoids a splash into the corner. Dawn sends Henley into the turnbuckles and follows with an uppercut. Dawn with a knee in the corner and a snap mare. Dawn with an uppercut to the back. Dawn with a kick to the chest for a near fall. Dawn sends Henley face first into the mat. Henley with punches and Dawn misses a clothesline. Dawn holds on to the ropes when Henley goes for an O’Connor Roll. Henley with kicks and a sunset flip for a near fall.

Dawn with a knee to the midsection and she sends Henley to the mat. Dawn with a kick and straitjacket choke. Henley tries to get out of the hold but Dawn holds on to it. Dawn with knees to the back. Henley backs Dawn into the corner but Dawn holds on to the straitjacket choke. Henley with a snap mare to escape but Dawn with a forearm. Henley with forearms. Henley sends Dawn face first into the mat and she hits an elbow in the corner. Henley with a clothesline. Dawn sends Henley throat first into the ropes and Dawn with a round kick and a half and half uranage for the three count.

Winner: Isla Dawn

We go to Sarray arriving at the Performance Centre. She is asked about how her time in NXT UK. She says she is having a lot of fun and then she addresses the fans in Japanese and she sees Satomura. She asks about the match she requeted and she says she wants a match badly.

Satomura accepts the challenge but she tells Sarray to be prepared.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the stare down between Amale and Blair Davenport after Amale’s victory last week.

Amale is in a room watching the footage and she is asked about Blair’s commentary.

Amale gets up and starts to walk out of the room and she says she will show you what she thinks of Blair’s commentary. Amale asks if they have seen Blair. Amale says that she heard Blair’s commentary. She says she will not give Blair the satisfaction of letting her get under her skin. She is going to save it all for the ring.

Match Number Two: Josh Morrell versus Dave Mastiff

They lock up and Mastiff with a side head lock. Morrell with a hand stand and he walks away on his hands. Mastiff with a wrist lock. Morrell with an escape and Mastiff is impressed. They lock up and Morrell with a side head lock. Mastiff with a shoulder tackle. Mastiff blocks a hip toss and he gives Morrell a hip toss but Morell lands on his feet. Morrell tries for a monkey flip but Mastiff blocks it and he flips Morrell but Josh lands on his feet.

Mastiff with a belly-to-back suplex. Mastiff with a forearm to the back. Mastiff with an elbow and a cravate. Mastiff with a snap mare and nerve hold. Morrell with an elbow but Mastiff sends Morrell face first into the mat. Morrell with punches to get out of a nerve hold. Morrell lands on his feet when Mastiff sends him to the corner. Mastiff with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.

Mastiff with a head butt to the midsection and a forearm. Mastiff with a forearm. Morrell goes for a sunset flip but Mastiff does not go over. Mastiff pulls Morrell up and goes for a German suplex and Morrell lands on his feet. Morrell with a drop kick and Mastiff misses an elbow drop. Morrell with a moonsault for a near fall. Morrell drop kicks Mastiff to the floor and hits a Fosbury Flop. Morrell gets Mastiff back into the ring. Morrell flips into the ring and Mastiff sends Morrell into the air and face first to the mat. Mastiff with a power bomb and he holds on and hits a Finlay Slam for a near fall. Mastiff smiles after Morrell kicks out. Mastiff gets Morrell up again for another Finlay slam and a back senton for the three count.

Winner: Dave Mastiff

After the match, Mastiff offers his hand to Morrell and helps him up. They fist bump and Morrell shows Mastiff respect by dropping to a knee.

We go to The East End Bookie with Sha Samuels. We see Sha paying off everyone who bet against Noam last week. Noam tells everyone that Sha has children.

Sha tells Noam he lost everything and that they are done. Noam says they can make more money. Sha asks how can he eat or drink. Noam takes the money he has hidden under Sha’s hat.

Johnny Saint stops by to collect his winnings. Sha says he has some money in the back and Sha runs away.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage from a photo shoot earlier this week with the NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs. They are asked about the challenge made by Mark Andrews and Wild Boar.

Brooks says they have a response and they respect both men so they would be honored to face the best tag team in the UK. Briggs says one night at the pub is on them and if they want a tag title match, they have it.

Match Number Three: Nina Samuels versus Emilia McKenzie

They lock up and Samuels backs McKenzie into the corner. Samuels with shoulders and Emilia with a boot. Emilia with a head scissors off the turnbuckles followed by shoulders in the corner. Samuels pushes her away and Samuels with a sunset flip for a near fall. Samuels sends Emilia face first into the mat. Emilia avoids being sent into the corner and McKenzie sends Samuels into the corner and kicks Nina. Nina pushes Emilia away and kicks her.

Nina chokes McKenzie in the ropes and fish hooks her. Samuels stretches Emilia in the ropes and drop kicks Emilia in the back and gets a near fall. Samuels with a kick to the back. Samuels tosses Emilia across the ring by the hair a few times. Samuels kicks McKenzie in the corner. Emilia with a punch to the ribs and Samuels with a forearm. Nina gets a near fall.

Nina puts McKenzie on the turnbuckles and she slaps Emilia. Nina misses a kick and Emilia with elbows to the back of the head followed by chops and Samuels goes to the floor but lands on her feet. McKenzie with a forearm to Samuels on the apron and McKenzie sends Samuels face first into the mat a few times. Emilia with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Emilia misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the turnbuckles. Nina with a rollup for a near fall. Emilia with a forearm and a German suplex. Emilia with a spear for the three count.

Winner: Emilia McKenzie

We go to a sit down interview with NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov and his challenger Wolfgang with Andy Shepherd.

Andy asks about the respect between both men.

Wolfgang says he has been in NXT UK since day one. He saw everyone hold the title. He says he has been thinking about this since 2017. I was there when the championship was first awarded and I made it to the semifinals of the tournament. I saw you beat a man who no one thought was going to lose that title, so you have my respect. He says he respects that Ilja will take on all comers. You challenged me for this championship and how can you not respect this.

Ilja says he chose Wolfgang because people don’t give you as much credit as you deserve. Ilja Dragunov would not be here if not for you.

Andy asks Wolfgang if he can take the title from Ilja.

Wolfgang says he can win the title because Ilja has never been in the ring with him and you don’t know what I can you. You will find out that challenging me was the worst mistake you ever made.

Ilja says it wouldn’t make sense to challenge you if you didn’t have this state of mind. I will see the real Wolfgang. You have stood in the shadow of Gallus and I feel sorry for you. You are not just a guy in Gallus, you are a lion. When did you shine?

Wolfgang says he has been a champion for 497 days.

Ilja says that Wolfgang was part of a team and now he stands alone. Ilja says he wants to see the individual.

Wolfgang says this title belongs to Gallus.

Ilja says this title is for people who want to fight for anything.

Wolfgang says there is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Wolfgang says he is doing Ilja a favor by taking that off your shoulders and putting the title around my shoulder.

Ilja says if you are a lion, you will need to bite hard to taste what Ilja Dragunov is made of.

We go to commercial.

We are back and next week, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs will defend the NXT UK Tag Titles against Mark Andrews and Wild Boar, Blair Davenport will face Amale, and Ilja Dragunov will defend the NXT UK Men’s Championship against Wolfgang.
Match Number Four: Sam Gradwell versus Trent Seven

The bell rings and Trent throws his towel at Gradwell and punches him. Seven is sent ot he floor and Gradwell with a suicide dive but his knee brace is unhooked and comes off. Gradwell with punches as they go around the ring. Gradwell pulls Trent back to the floor and Sam slams Seven on the floor. Gradwell fixes his knee brace and sends Seven back into the ring. Seven chops Gradwell on the apron and connects with a clothesline that sends Gradwell to the floor.

Gradwell beats the count and Seven with a German suplex for a near fall. Seven kicks Gradwell and Gradwell misses some punches. Seven with a forearm and he mocks Pete Dunne and kicks Gradwell in the head. Gradwell with a punch but Seven with a chop. They go back and forth and Gradwell wants more from Seven. Seven with chops and then he kicks Gradwell in the knee. Gradwell with forearms to Seven and he gets Seven to flinch so Gradwell with a butterfly suplex.

Gradwell with a forearm into the corner and an Irish whip followed by a back body drop. Seven is sent to the floor and Gradwell with a flying forearm off the apron. Gradwell with forearms and Seven is sent back into the ring. Seven with a suicide dive to Gradwell. Seven sends Gradwell back into the ring. Gradwell chops Seven on the apron and Gradwell goes to the turnbuckles to superplex Seven back into the ring but Seven pushes Gradwell off and Gradwell’s knee buckles. Gradwell with a forearm to Seven and a chop. Gradwell sets for a superplex and hits a butterfly superplex. Gradwell gets a near fall.

Seven rolls to the apron and then goes to the floor. Seven heads to the back and Gradwell follows after him and Samw ith a forearm and he brings Seven back to ringside. Seven with an atomic drop onto the ring steps. Seven sends Gradwell back into the ring. Seven pulls off the knee brace and tosses it into the corner. Seven sets for a boot to the midsection and Gradwell blocks it. Seven with kicks to the hamstring and he applies a figure four leg lock. Gradwell grabs the beard but Seven applies more pressure. Gradwell with punches and he reverses the hold. Seven gets to the ropes to force a break.

Seven misses a back fist and Gradwell with an STO for a near fall.

Gradwell with forearms and a front face lock. Seven clips Gradwell and hits a Seven Star Lariat but Gradwell kicks out at two. Seven grabs the knee brace and he prepares to use it for a Seven Star Lariat but Gradwell avoids it. Gradwell with a rolling elbow for a near fall. Gradwell gets the knee brace and he thinks about using it but the referee stops him. Seven with a kick to the ding ding when the referee is not looking and he hits a Seven Star Lariat for the three count.

Winner: Trent Seven

After the match, Trent kicks Gradwell and before he can do anything else, Tyler Bate makes his way to the ring and Trent Seven leaves the ring and dives into the crowd.
