GRADO & MORE HEADING TO ICW IN SCOTLAND NEXT WEEKEND

Scotland's ICW announced the following:

Pro Wrestling Returns to Glasgow for Huge Summer Weekender

BBC Scotland stars Grado and Lee Greig will be in action

GLASGOW, Scot., 20 July, 2022 - Scotland's answer to WWE, Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), brings its annual summer weekender of hard-hitting, high-flying action to Glasgow's O2 Academy on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 July. 

The event marks ICW's return to the O2 Academy for the first time in three years due to the pandemic and features almost 20 matches across the weekend, including two huge main events and the return of fan favourite, Grado. 

ICW legend BT Gunn faces Leyton Buzzard in a King of Insanity Match in the main event of night 1. Anything goes, and the winner is crowned the most-insane wrestler in the company. 

Former ICW Heavyweight Champion and star of BBC Scotland's The Scotts Lee Greig, better known to wrestling fans as Jack Jester, looks to become a 2-time title holder when he challenges current Champion Kez Evans in the main event of night 2.

"As a former Champion, I know what it takes to climb to the top of the ladder." said Greig.

"Kez Evans thinks the old Jack Jester is gone, but he never left. I'll be leaving that main event as World Heavyweight Champion."

Star of BBC Scotland's Two Doors Down Grado teams up with Tiktoker Ravie Davie to face Conservatives The Cabinet in tag team action.

The weekend also features a Ladder Match, Women's World Title Match, MMA fighter Chris Bungard in action and much more.

The only way to see the event live is at the venue itself. Both weekend and 1-day tickets are still available through Ticketmaster and Tickets Scotland. Fans can also watch ICW on-demand on WWE Network in the UK, and Peacock in the USA.
