High roller blackjack is a game that isn’t to everyone’s taste. However, this game has the potential to be incredibly profitable if you’re prepared to take a risk. What is it, though? If you know anything about gambling games, you’ll know that the term “high roller games” refers to games with considerably high wagering ranges. They won’t be for all, but if you’ve got cash to burn, these blackjack games could be for you.
What Is High Roller Blackjack?
At its most basic, high roller blackjack is a game that you can play and potentially win immense sums of money on. It will require you to wager sizeable sums of cash when betting, and this applies to both the minimum and maximum wagering limits. They will both be substantially higher than what you might be used to seeing in a typical blackjack game.
How Much Is a High Stake?
The big question is, “how much is a high stake?”. In reality, these can vary – a lot. They will vary between the games available and according to each player. Everybody has their own thoughts on this. For blackjack, high-stakes games will typically cost between $5 a hand and rise to tens of thousands of dollars per hand. Naturally, that isn’t always going to make players on a budget feel comfortable.
Can Low Rollers Bet, Too?
Not really. High roller blackjack is not a game for the faint-hearted. If you want to have a stab at high roller blackjack, you’re going to need to flash and splash the cash. That said, there is no reason why you can’t expect to find mid-roller tables. These often have minimum hand limits of $1, which is much more affordable for many low-rolling players and will still give you a decent return if you manage to land blackjack.
Do All Casinos Offer High and Low Tables?
It is also worth noting that not all online casinos offer high tables. Many do offer beginners tables and low-roller tables, though. If you fancy having a stab at penny blackjack games, then these are the play for you. Even then, not all top casino sites offer both low and high table games. Sometimes, they combine both blackjack titles into a single game. This is down to the software provider more than anything else, but such titles can see you wager anything from $0.50 up to, say, $10,000 a hand, thus catering to everybody’s needs.
Look for Salon Privé, VIP and Premier Tables
When it comes to the costly blackjack games, there are certain names you should look for. Tables known as Salon Privé, VIP or Premier, Gold, or Luxury and any other similar-sounding name are usually the places to head to. There may be specific requirements before you can get a seat at these tables, though, which may involve live dealer or RNG (random number generator) tables.
