WHO ARE THE MOST INFLUENTIAL WWE FIGHTERS AND WHAT ARE THEY UP TO NOW?

By Kendall Jenkins on 2022-07-19 02:23:00

WWE has been a massive part of the entertainment world for decades. Its enormous popularity and cultural impact have made it a household name for millions worldwide. With stars like The Rock and Bautista turning their talents to Hollywood, the industry has undoubtedly left its mark on all things entertainment. But what are some of WWE’s most iconic stars up to now?

Triple H

In 1999, Paul Michael Levesque, aka Triple H, stole the show at WWE Raw by defeating Mankind and securing his first WWE championship win. Since then, the wrestling giant has become a WWE staple and has claimed 14 world titles. He hasn’t hit the ring as a wrestler since 2019, however, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, as well as the executive producer of the NXT brand. At Wrestlemania 38, after introducing the second night, he left a microphone and his wrestling boots as a statement of his official in-ring retirement.

Kane

Kane, or ‘The Big Red Machine’, is another hugely popular WWE name. For good reason, too, since his impact on the industry is not to be underestimated. His contributions to The Undertaker’s legacy, serving as his half-brother and adversary of the ever-returning giant, have made him a legend. Since 2018, Kane has served as the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, and joined the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. Though he keeps busy outside the ring, Kane still has an active role in the WWE community, and we certainly haven’t seen the last of him.

Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus is a WWE legend, and her influence can be felt far and wide. Her career has laid the groundwork for women’s wrestling and paved the way for the many WWE Divas that frequently steal the spotlight these days. When she started 20 years ago, female wrestlers were a rare breed, and they certainly weren’t allowed to compete at the same level as their male counterparts. Since then, things have changed dramatically and for the better. Now, she’s retired from the ring and keeps busy as a judge for Canada’s Got Talent, a host for various TV shows, and a host of charity work, including support for the Children’s Aid Foundation.

Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock

Next, we have arguably WWE’s most famous icon. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is adored by millions worldwide. His ‘smell what’s cooking’ catchphrase has become a goldmine for merchandising, while his recurring role in the ‘Fast and Furious’ film franchise has only further boosted his fame. Whether it's Hollywood blockbusters, online gaming, or ring-side showdowns, The Rock always delivers on thrills and excitement. Speaking of excitement, if you’re looking for more WWE action, online slot games like WWE Legends and a whole range of new slots at https://www.platincasino.co.uk/new-games, will surely keep you entertained. There’s never been a better time to join the fun with their welcome bonuses and Friday Fiver promotions. Whether you’re looking for something to do between matches or simply can’t wait for the next issue of Raw, you’ll find what you’re after. With all-star icons like The Rock, the excitement never ends!

Conclusion

Ultimately, the impact wrestling’s premier franchise has had on popular culture, entertainment, and even wider circles can be felt far and wide. It’s still going strong today, with other influential wrestlers like John Cena, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and Ric Flair continuing to profoundly influence the industry and the world at large.
