Mike Tenay announced the sad news that Cindy Heenan, the wife of the late, great Bobby Heenan has passed away:
Sorry to report the passing of Cindy Heenan, an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. Her devotion and support for Bobby was unparalleled. Survived by daughter Jess, son in law John and grandkids Austin and Hannah. Our times with them were the happiest and most memorable.

After Bobby took ill and battled cancer and a wealth of health problems coming out of that battle, Cindy was always at his side for public appearances and signings. Several years ago, when Bobby Heenan was being posthumously honored by T-Mart Promotions' The Gathering, Cindy sent copies of Bobby's first autobiography for all in attendance as a gift to thank them for their support of Bobby. She was a wonderful, special person.
