7/15 GCW “No Signal In The Hills Part 2” Recap

Gringo Loco vs. Rocky Romero

The match begins with Loco going to work on the arm of Romero, Romero gets free and he works over the arm of Loco. Loco gets free and he sends Romero out of the ring, Romero returns to the ring and a test of strength breaks out. Loco hits Romero with a monkey flip and Romero counters with a rana, Romero and Loco then exchange a few pin attempts. Loco looks for a handshake and Romero trades chops with him instead, Romero and Loco take their striking exchange to the arena floor before getting back in the ring. Romero ends the exchange by poking Loco right in the eyes, Loco fights back and Romero eventually kicks him in the arm. Romero traps the arm of Loco before landing a top rope knee drop on it, Romero kicks away at a downed Loco afterwards. Romero holds Loco down while applying a kimura to him, Romero releases the hard before Loco sends him into the corner for a near fall. Loco traps Romero in the ropes while landing more chops, Loco follows up by nailing Romero with a suplex for a near fall. 

Romero misses a drop kick attempt and Loco gets him in a pendulum hold, Loco releases the hold before landing an elbow drop on Romero for a near fall. Loco goes for a sit out power bomb and Romero counters by landing a rebound kick, Romero traps Loco in the corner while landing Foreveer Clotheslines. Loco fights back and he nails Romero with a top rope cutter from out of nowhere for a near fall, Romero and Loco have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Loco ends the exchange by nailing Romero with a side slam for a near fall, Loco follows up by nailing Romero with a moonsault for a near fall. Romero fights back and he drops Loco with a tornado DDT, Loco leaves the ring and Romero nails him with a rana. Romero follows up by hitting Loco with a suicide dive, Romero gets Loco back in the ring before landing a top rope rana and sliced bread for a near fall. Loco tries getting up while Romero attacks him with some kicks, Romero goes for another rana and he finally gets it on Loco for another near fall. 

Romero follows up by cracking Loco with a lariat for another near fall, Romero stands Loco up while landing some knee strikes. Romero gets Loco on the ropes and he follows him up there, Romero goes for a super sliced bread and Loco blocks it. Romero sets up for it again and Loco blocks it again before landing a super sit out power bomb for a three count.

Winner: Gringo Loco

Komander vs. Tony Deppen

The match begins with Komander nailing Deppen with a suicide dive during Deppen’s entrance, Komander gets Deppen back in the ring before landing a shot to his back. Komander catches Deppen in a springboard arm drag before rolling him up for a near fall, Komander keeps Deppen down while getting him in a pendulum hold. Deppen gets free and Komander nails him with a chop, Komander follows up by nailing Deppen with a rana. Deppen leaves the ring and he prevents a Komander suicide dive by kicking him in the head, Deppen gets Komander up while nailing him with some strikes before choking him in the corner. Deppen then chokes Komander on the middle rope before landing a suplex for a near fall, Deppen picks Komander up while nailing him with some more strikes. Deppen then hits Komander with a slam, Deppen goes for a senton and Komander gets him knees up.

Komander then catches Deppen in a roll up for a near fall, Komander follows up by dropping Deppen with a poison rana. Deppen leaves the ring and Komander nails him with a moonsault from the top rope, Komander gets Deppen back in the ring before landing a shooting star press for a near fall. Komander traps Deppen in the corner while landing some strikes, Deppen goes to the top rope and Komander meets him up there. Deppen gets free before hitting Komander with a knee strike followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Komander fights back and Deppen crotches him on the top rope. Deppen meets Komander on the ring apron and they trade a few strikes, Deppen gets back in the ring before knocking Komander to the arena floor. Deppen follows up by hitting Komander with a tombstone piledriver on the arena floor, Deppen gets Komander back in the ring before landing a top rope double stomp for a near fall. Komander avoids a shot from Deppen before eating a knee strike, Komander recovers and he nails Deppen with a back breaker.

Komander follows up by hitting Deppen with another shooting star press for another near fall, Komander and Deppen have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Komander ends the exchange by nailing Deppen with a destroyer, Komander goes for a 450 splash and Deppen gets out of the way. Deppen then hits Komander with a running knee strike for a three count.

Winner: Tony Deppen

Alex Zayne vs. Titus Alexander

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Alexander and Zayne, Zayne gets Alexander in a headlock and Alexander gets free before eating a shoulder tackle. Alexander trips up a charging Zayne before landing a basement drop kick, Alexander traps Zayne in the corner while landing a few strikes. Zayne fights back and he hits Alexander with a head scissors takedown, Zayne spikes a leaping Alexander before landing a double knee drop followed by a twisting splash. Alexander recovers and he sends Zayne to the ring apron, Zayne then hits Alexander with a head kick followed by an elbow smash for a near fall. Alexander leaves the ring and he tricks Zayne into leaving the ring before landing a suicide dive, Alexander gets Zayne up before landing some strikes. Alexander pretends to throw Zayne into the crowd before sending Zayne into the ring, Alexander traps Zayne in the corner before choking him. Alexander keeps Zayne down while ripping away at his face, Zayne gets up and he trades strikes with Alexander. 

Zayne ends the exchange by leveling Alexander with a lariat, Zayne then hits Alexander with multiple strikes and a handstand head kick. Zayne traps Alexander in the corner while landing some chops, Zayne places Alexander on the top rope and he follows him up there. Zayne eventually nails Alexander with a rana for a near fall, Alexander rolls to the ring apron before kicking Zayne in the head, Alexander goes for a rolling stunner and Zayne blocks it before eating a handspring cutter. Alexander and Zayne have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Zayne goes for his finisher and Alexander counters with a roll up for a near fall. Zayne drops Alexander before going to the top rope and Alexander gets his knees up during a cinnamon twist attempt, Alexander then hits Zayne with a chaos theory for a near fall. Alexander goes for a slam and Zayne counters with a roll up, Alexander then hits Zayne with a super kick. Zayne quickly recovers and he hits Alexander with a Taco Driver for a three count.

Winner: Alex Zayne

Starboy Charlie vs. Blake Christian

The match begins with Christian and Charlie dropping each other with arm drags while in a lock up, Christian then takes Charlie down with a headlock. Charlie catches Christian in a head scissors and Christian quickly gets free, Charlie then drops Christian with an arm drag. Christian gets up and he eventually gets Charlie in a kravat, Charlie gets free and he drops Christian with a snap mare. Christian recovers and he nails a charging Charlie with a drop kick, Charlie gets to the ring apron and he traps Christian in the ropes before landing a knee strike. Charlie follows up by applying a rope assisted abdominal stretch to Christian, Charlie then hits Christian with a top rope high cross body. Christian leaves the ring and Charlie nails him with a suicide dive, Christian gets back in the ring and he nails Charlie with multiple head kicks. Christian then drops Charlie with a northern lights suplex followed by a head kick for a near fall, Christian traps Charlie in the ropes while landing more strikes. 

Christian follows up by nailing Christian with a few hard Irish whips into the corner, Christian then hits Charlie with a modified bulldog into the corner. Charlie tries fighting back and Christian nails him with some up kicks, Charlie recovers and he drops Christian with some back elbow strikes. Charlie follows up with a snap suplex on Christian, Charlie also nails Christian with a shotgun drop kick into the corner. Charlie hits a cornered Christian with a cannonball for a near fall, Charlie also connects with a moonsault on Christian for another near fall. Christian recovers and he drops Charlie on the top rope, Charlie leaves the ring and he returns before eating a back suplex from Christian. Christian then cracks Charlie with a release dragon suplex, Christian hits Charlie with a Finaly Roll followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Christian goes for a curb stomp and Charlie avoids it before landing an enziguri, Christian recovers to hit Charlie with a super kick followed by a release German suplex. 

Charlie avoids another curb stomp to hit Christian with a release German suplex, Christian fights back and he nails Charlie with a one man Spanish fly. Christian goes for a tombstone piledriver and Charlie counters to land one of his own, Christian and Charlie have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Christian ends the exchange by getting Charlie in a sleeper hold, Christian goes for the Paradigm Shift and Charlie counters with a northern lights suplex for a near fall. Christian then knocks Charlie out of the ring with a pele kick, Christian follows up by nailing Charlie with a suicide dive. Christian gets Charlie back in the ring before landing on his feet during a top rope move, Charlie gets up and he hits Christian with a spine buster followed by a brain buster for a near fall. Charlie makes his way to the top rope and Christian follows him up there, Christian and Charlie exchange strikes while on the ropes. Charlie knocks Christian off the ropes and Christian returns to land a superplex into a spinning neck breaker, Christian then hits Charlie with a curb stomp for a three count.

Winner: Blake Christian

After the match, Blake Christian addresses Lio Rush before saying he will beat Jon Moxley to win the GCW Championship. 

Los Mazisos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo) vs. Jordan Oliver & Nick Wayne

The match begins with Oliver and Wayne knocking their foes to the arena floor, Oliver and Wayne then hit their opponents with multiple suicide dives. Oliver gets Ciclope in the ring before landing a slingshot swanton bomb, Wayne also lands one before dropping Oliver on Ciclope for a near fall. Extremo hits the ring with a steel chair and he nails both opponents with it, Extremo then hits Wayne with a chair assisted slam for a near fall. Extremo works over the arm of Wayne before tagging Ciclope into the match, Ciclope cracks Wayne with some strikes before choking him in the corner. Ciclope drags Wayne to the mat before applying a cross face to him, Ciclope releases the hold before hitting Wayne with a basement drop kick for a near fall. Extremo tags in and he nails Wayne with a suplex followed by a twisting splash for a near fall, Extremo then stomps away on the legs of a downed Wayne. Extremo catches Wayne in a big swing before Ciclope lands a drop kick for a near fall, Extremo then chokes Wayne in the corner.

Oliver interferes and Extremo nails him with a steel chair, Ciclope tags in and Wayne fights back against both opponents. Wayne hits Ciclope with a release dragon suplex before landing a destroyer on Extremo, Oliver tags in and he starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Oliver nails Extremo with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Oliver goes for a Clout Cutter and Extremo blocks it before exchanging strikes with Oliver. Ciclope tags in as Oliver nails Extremo with a super kick, Oliver drops Ciclope before stomping away on him. Wayne tags in as Ciclope makes Oliver low blow him, Ciclope then makes Oliver hit Wayne with a DDT while Extremo gets a door into the ring. Ciclope gets the door and he places it in the corner, a striking exchange breaks out between both teams in the middle of the ring. Ciclope ends that exchange by nailing Oliver with a destroyer, Extremo then hits Wayne with a power bomb through a door for a near fall. Extremo and Ciclope double team Oliver before Wayne accidentally knee strikes Oliver in the face, Oliver and Wayne recover as Oliver nails everybody with cutters.

Wayne then hits a downed Extremo with a corkscrew splash from the top rope for a near fall, Extremo and Wayne have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Oliver hits the ring and he has a striking exchange with Extremo, Wayne and Oliver eventually drop Extremo with a double super kick. Extremo and Ciclope recover to hit their opponents with a double spear, Extremo and Ciclope then set up a door on some chairs on the arena floor. Wayne and Oliver attack Ciclope and Extremo as they return to the ring, Wayne takes out Ciclope before hitting Extremo with a destroyer through the door on the arena floor. Wayne grabs a door and he gets it in the ring, Oliver and Wayne set up the door on some chairs in the ring. Oliver gets Ciclope on the top rope while Extremo sends Wayne out of the ring, Extremo then hits Wayne with a dive. Ciclope puts Oliver through the door before Extremo lands a 450 splash for a three count.

Winners: Los Mazisos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo)

LA Fights Showcase Match: Hunter Freeman vs. Rob Sh**

The match begins with Freeman nailing Rob with the chair that he trew into the ring, Freeman follows up by nailing him with a suicide dive. Freeman grabs another chair and he hits Sh** in the head with it, Freeman grabs a barbed wire door and he sets it up on some chairs on the arena floor. Freeman looks for a suplex and Sh** kicks him in the balls, S**T then sends Freeman into the ring post. S*** grabs a staple gun and he shoots staples into the back of Freeman, Freeman gets in the ring and S*** follows him in there before stapling a shirt on the head of Freeman. S*** grabs the shirt again and he chokes Freeman with it, S*** follows up by choking Freeman on the middle rope. Freeman fights back and he nails S*** with a boot to the face, Freeman corners Sh** before landing an avalanche. Freeman follows up by tossing Sh** across the ring, He then nails a downed Freeman with a drop kick to the face for a near fall. Freeman goes to the top rope and Sh** knocks him off and through the barbed wire door.  He finds another barbed wire door and he gets it in the ring. 

Rob gets Freeman out of the barbed wire before nailing him with more chair shots, Rob gets Freeman back in the ring before getting in there himself with some more barbed wire. Rob wraps a bunch of barbed wire around Freeman before nailing him with a DDT for a near fall.  He grabs the barbed wire door and he places it in the corner. Freeman fights back and he drops Rob with a sick kick for a near fall, Freeman grabs a shirt and he uses it to trap the arms of Rob.  Freeman shoots him multiple times with the staple gun, Freeman then puts him through the barbed wire door. Freeman keeps him between the broken door before landing a moonsault for a three count.

Winner: Hunter Freeman

- Effy talks about Bussy being ranked #6 by PWI, Effy then announces that PPRay couldn’t make it to the show tonight. Effy says Bussy is hungry for competition and they issue an open challenge, which is answered by the Second Gear Crew. 

GCW World Tag Team Championships: Bussy (Effy & Allie Katch) (c) vs. Second Gear Crew (Matthew Justice & Mance Warner)

The match begins with an all out brawl between both teams, Justice and Warner quickly send Effy and Katch out of the ring. Bussy gets back in the ring before landing low blows on their opponents, Katch and Effy then hit Warner and Justice with DDT’s on the ring apron. Katch battles Warner while Effy goes after Justice, Justice grabs a chair and he attacks Effy with it. Warner also finds a chair and he attacks Katch with it, Justice holds Katch so Warner can nail her with more chair shots. Katch fights back and she sends Warner into the ring post. Effy returns and he nails Justice with a Rough Rider on the arena floor, Bussy gets Justice back in the ring and they hit him with a double atomic drop. Effy then hits a downed Justice with a seated senton for a near fall, Warner returns and he gets sent head first into Justice’s balls. Justice is placed on the top rope before Warner returns to hit both opponents with chair shorts, Effy is then sent from the top rope to the arena floor. Warner and Justice hit Katch with a clothesline/spear combo for a near fall, Warner attacks the injured leg of a downed Katch.

Justice leaves the ring and he throws a bunch of chairs into the ring, Warner places a bucket on Katch’s head before kicking her in the head. Justice also manages to get pieces of a broken door and a full door into the ring, Justice then hits Effy with a door. Justice gets a door and he nails Katch in the midsection with it, Warner and Justice set a door up on some chairs in the ring. Katch is placed on the top turnbuckle and both opponents follow her up there, Katch fights back and Effy goes up the ropes as well. Katch and Effy put both opponents through the door for a near fall, Effy goes after Warner before Katch nails him with a cannonball. Katch then hits Justice with a seated senton, Effy hits Warner with a TKO on top of Justice. Katch gets Justice in a single leg crab while Effy gets Warner in a dragon sleeper, Warner and Justice get free before sending both opponents to the arena floor. Justice then takes everybody out with a suicide dive, Effy is sent back into the ring and he trades strikes with Justice. Effy ends the exchange by headbutting Justice in the balls, Warner and Katch have a striking exchange in the ring.

Katch tricks Warner before landing a Pussy Piledriver on him, Justice returns and he hits Katch with a death valley driver. Effy then hits Justice with a Rough Rider for a near fall, Justice gets a steel chair and he attacks Effy with it. Justice and Warner set up a door between a chair and the ring ropes, Warner grabs Effy and he places him on the top rope before following him up there. Warner nails Effy with a superplex through the door before Justice lands a top rope splash for a near fall, Warner and Justice head backstage before returning with a sheet of glass. Effy grabs a piece of the broken door and he attacks both opponents with it, Warner then hits Effy with a chair shot. Justice goes to the top rope with a steel chair and he nails an elevated Effy with a chair shot for a near fall, Katch returns and she hits both opponents with every weapon that she can find. Katch gets the sheet of glass and she sets it up in the corner, Warner immediately hits Katch with a spear through the glass. Justice hits Effy with a chair shot before landing a top rope splash, Effy immediately catches Justice in a roll up for a three count.

Winners: Bussy (Effy & Allie Katch), still your GCW World Tag Team Champions

Dark Sheik vs. Cole Radrick

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Radrick and Sheik, Sheik drops Radrick with a snap mare before getting him in a chin lock. Radrick gets free and he works over the arm of Sheik, Sheik gets free and she attacks the arm of Radrick. Radrick trips up Sheik before applying an ankle lock to her, Sheik gets free and she rolls up Radrick for a near fall. Sheik and Radrick also exchange some arm drags before Sheik knocks Radrick out of the ring, Sheik then hits Radrick with a suicide dive. Sheik gets Radrick back in the ring before landing a slingshot leg drop, Sheik goes for a slingshot swanton bomb and Radrick gets his knees up. Radrick drops Sheik before landing a slingshot swanton bomb, Radrick follows up by nailing Sheik with a back suplex for a near fall. Radrick keeps the pressure on Sheik while landing strikes on her, Sheik fights back and she drops Radrick.

Radrick catches a leaping Sheik before landing a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Radrick focuses his attack on the legs of Sheik while applying an Indian death lock to her. Radrick cracks Sheik with a few strikes before nailing her with a Gory Bomb into the corner, Radrick then hits Sheik with an air raid crash for a near fall. Radrick goes for a springboard moonsault and Sheik gets her knees up, Sheik then hits Radrick with a series of boots to the face. Sheik then hits Radrick with a slingshot leg drop followed by a slingshot swanton bomb, Sheik follows up by nailing Radrick with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Sheik looks for her finisher and Radrick counters with a stunner followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall, Radrick goes for something and Sheik counters with a German suplex for a near fall. Sheik goes for her finisher again and Radrick counters with a roll up for a near fall, Sheik then hits Radrick with Welcome To Die for a three count.

Winner: Dark Sheik

Kevin Blackwood vs. Joey Janela

The match begins with Blackwood doing some work to the arm of Janela, Janela gets free and he damages the arm of Blackwood. Blackwood then takes Janela down with a headlock, Janela gets free and Blackwood nails him with a shoulder tackle. Janela gets up and he gets Blackwood in a headlock of his own before landing a shoulder tackle, Blackwood gets Janela in another headlock before landing an atomic drop followed by a mid kick. Blackwood then trips up Janela before landing a double stomp on him, Janela fights back and he nails Blackwood with a back elbow strike. Janela follows up and he nails Blackwood with a delayed vertical suplex, Janela kicks a downed Blackwood in the back before landing his own double stomp. Blackwood gets up and he has a striking exchange with Janela, Blackwood ends the exchange by knocking Janela to the arena floor. Blackwood then hits Janela with a double stomp from the ring apron, Blackwood gets Janela back in the ring and Janela nails him with a release German suplex.

Janela follows up on that by hitting Blackwood with a delayed release German suplex, Janela then hits Blackwood with a neck breaker for a near fall. Janela drops Blackwood on the top rope before dropping him with a right, Janela meets Blackwood on the ring apron before landing a neck breaker on the ring apron. Blackwood fights back and he cracks Janela with a few strikes, Janela recovers and he attacks Blackwood with a chop before dropping him with a hard Irish whip into the corner. Janela holds Blackwood down while holding him in a headlock, Blackwood gets free and Janela applies the Muta Lock to him. Janela releases the hold before landing another neck breaker on Blackwood, Janela holds Blackwood down while applying the kravat to him. Blackwood gets free and Janela nails him with some more strikes, Blackwood fights back and Janela nails him with more chops. Blackwood then hits Janela with a backstabber from out of nowhere, Blackwood and Janela have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring.

Blackwood ends the exchange by nailing Janela with a missile drop kick from the middle rope, Blackwood follows up by hitting Janela with a combination. Blackwood then hits Janela with an exploder suplex for a near fall, Blackwood keeps Janela down while stomping away on him. Blackwood then hits Janela with a sunset flip before getting knocked into the corner, Blackwood avoids a charge from Janela before landing a knee strike followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Blackwood goes to the top rope and Janela cracks him with a strike, Janela climbs the ropes as well before getting shoves down by Blackwood. Blackwood misses a double stomp and Janela nails him with a neck breaker followed by a pile driver for a near fall, Janela leaves the ring and he sets up a door on some chairs on the arena floor. Janela places Blackwood on the top turnbuckle and he follows him up there, Blackwood crotches Janela on the top turnbuckle. Blackwood then knocks Janela to the ring apron before dragging him back up, Janela cracks Blackwood with a few strikes before landing a neck breaker on the top rope.

Janela goes to the ring apron and he picks Blackwood up, Blackwood gets free and he nails Janela with an enziguri. Janela manages to drop Blackwood before going back to the top rope, Janela misses a double stomp and Blackwood nails him with a series of dragon screw leg whips. Blackwood follows up by nailing Janela with a penalty kick, Blackwood goes for a tombstone piledriver and Janela counters with a roll up. Blackwood recovers and he gets Janela in the cloverleaf, Janela eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold. Blackwood hangs Janela over the door before landing a double stomp that puts him through the door, Blackwood gets Janela back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. Blackwood gets a piece of the broken door and he hits Janela in the head with it, Blackwood then hits Janela with a northern lights bomb for a near fall. Janela recovers and he exchange death valley drivers with Blackwood, Blackwood and Janela have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Blackwood lands a few head kicks before Janela nails him with a lariat, Janela misses a super kick and Blackwood trips him before landing a head kick.

Blackwood looks for a tombstone piledriver and Janela reverses it before Blackwood reverses it again before landing it for a near fall, Blackwood leaves the ring and he throws a bunch of chairs and a door back into it. Blackwood chokes Janela with a chair before setting up a door onto some chairs, Blackwood then gets Janela under the door before climbing to the top rope. Janela gets up and he hits Blackwood with the door, Janela then hits Blackwood with a superplex through the door for a near fall. Janela follows up with a kravat cross face to force a tap out from Blackwood.
