Do you think there will be more coming out of the Vince McMahon allegations?

If you mean will there be more to the investigation, we know it's not over because company management stated to the employees they would make themselves available for questions once the investigation was over and that hasn't happened.  We also know a number of legal firms are investigating the situation themselves from the perspective that all of this hurt the WWE stockholders and until they decide they are filing class action suits or not, those are still ongoing.  Finally, I know that The Wall Street Journal is still pursuing additional stories and I know they were trying to reach out to former WWE performers as of 48 hours ago.  So, short answer, yeah, it looks like there is more to come.

If you had to suggest some wrestling books to read for a newcomer to wrestling, what would they be?

I would suggest the first Mick Foley autobiography, the Ric Flair autobiography, the William Regal autobiography, the Bret Hart autobiography and the AJ Lee autobiography.  If you mean books on a specific promotion, I would suggest Pain & Passion - the story of Stampede Wrestling.

Personal question: even though you cover wrestling as a full-time job, do you still consider and call yourself a “wrestling fan” and can enjoy a show? Obviously you can't view this as an escape, but can you still be taken back by great wrestling these days?

I've been doing this full-time for 18 years, so these days, when I go to a show, it's my job first and foremost.  Same when I watch, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy something when it's good.  If I didn't enjoy wrestling at all, I'd be looking for a new place of employment, because as someone who used to hate his former job, I can't think of something more awful than hating what you do for a living.  I still enjoy doing interviews, talking about wrestling, writing, seeing a great moment unfold.  Those things never change and if they do, it's time for me to move on.

If you could book Ric Flair's last match, what would it be?

No one has asked me, but I think Ric Flair vs. Ricky Morton would have been a solid last match.  We'll see who the final Flair opponent(s) are this Monday when they are announced for www.Starrcast.com.

There's been a lot of talk online on Twitter about whether Sasha Banks is worth whatever she's being paid by conventions and how she will do outside of WWE.  What's your take?

My take is not to listen to random people give their opinions on Twitter.  It's worthless.  Here's why: If anyone thinks that after years of being a top WWE performer, including main eventing Wrestlemania cards and being one of the definitive talents that put the black and gold era of WWE NXT on the map isn't going to grab a lot of interest from pro wrestling fans to get photos and autographs at conventions, they aren't seeing reality in front of their face.  Add in that she's got Star Wars fans, who are just as rabid about getting items signed as anyone, who will want her action figure, etc. signed and you are pretty much guaranteeing that in the short term (especially), she's going to make everyone involved a ton of money.  If someone thinks otherwise, their opinions are pretty dumb.
