NWA PRESIDENT BILLY CORGAN TO PRESENT CHARITY CONCERT TO BENEFIT HIGHLAND PARK, IL SHOOTING VICTIMS

NWA President and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is organizing and will perform in a benefit concert for the victims of the Highland Park, IL shooting on the 4th of July.  Corgan owns and operates a teashop in Highland Park, has lived in that area for decades and is a native of Illinois.  The livestreamed concert will be a benefit for the Highland Park Community Foundation, directed to its July 4th Victims Response Fund.

“About a week ago on July 4th, we had the horrible tragedy here in Highland Park that took so many lives, and has injured so many people and has really affected so many of us as a community,” Corgan said. “So what we wanted to do is on the evening of July 27th, is we’re going to have a very special charity concert.”

The concert will stream live on YouTube on 7/27.

Corgan's NWA will hold its 74th Anniversary PPV events next month in St. Louis.
