MLW KINGS OF COLOSSEUM REPORT: HAMMERSTONE VS HOLLIDAY, AND MORE

Your announcers are Rich Bocchini and Joe Dombrowski.

We begin with a video package of the Dynasty ahead of tonight’s main event between Alex Hammerstone and Richard Holliday for the MLW Men’s World Championship.

Match Number One: Brittany Blake versus Zoey Skye

Skye with a missile drop kick and the referee officially starts the match. Skye gets a near fall. Skye with a gourdubster and leg drop for a near fall. Blake with an enzuigiri and shoulder in the corner. Blake with a back breaker in the ropes for a near fall. Skye with a flying clothesline and a back heel kick and enzuigiri. Skye with a cross body for a near fall. Skye trips Blake and Blake with a Tiger Feint Kick. Blake misses a splash off the turnbuckles. Skye with a lungblower for a near fall.

Skye misses a splash into the corner and Blake with a tornado DDT or a near fall. Blake with Bad Omen and Skye taps out.

Winner: Brittany Blake

We go to EJ Nduka with Sam Leterna. She asks for his thoughts about the main event. EJ says he should be asked why isn’t the most dominant man who is undefeated not in the match. EJ says he is playing. He says he will be watching the match to make sure everything is copacetic. He is in the building and he is watching. He says his time is coming.

We go to a video package for Alex Hammerstone. He says that being champion means he is expected to deliver in the ring and at all times. The way you conduct yourself with the fans. He knows this is a company on the rise and he is going to put this company on his back. He wants to take it to new heights. He is not planning on losing the title any time soon and he will not lose to Richard Holliday.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that the new season will debut in the fall.

We take a look at what Real 1 did to Jacob Fatu.

Rich mentions the deal between MLW and Hot Topic.

We go to Sam Leterna with Richard Holliday and Alicia Atout. Sam asks about facing his old friend tonight.

Richard says his thoughts are crystal clear. He tells Hammerstone to treat tonight like memory lane. He wants Hammerstone to reminisce about the times they had together. They were brothers in arms. We were best friends. We used to go to your pharmacies in Mexico. I want you to look into my eyes when we get in the ring. You will see that those memories meant nothing. He never gave a rat ass about Hammerstone. All he cares about is money, winning, and championships. Tonight, I am going to prove to you that it was always me and that I was the sole proprietor of the Dynasty. I will walk out as the MLW World Champion.

Alicia tells Richard that she has already made plans for the celebration.

Match Number Two: Matt Cross versus ACH

They lock up and Cross with a wist lock. ACH with a wrist lock. Cross with a reversal. ACH with a reversal. Cross with a reversal and side head lock. ACH with an arm drag and Cross with an arm drag. Cross with a leg sweep and cover. ACH with a chop. Cross with a head scissors take down. Cross with a splash into the corner. Cross with a leg sweep and an elbow drop for a near fall.

Cross with a chop. ACH with a leg sweep and he applies a Mutoh Lock but Cross gets to the ropes as it is finally locked in. ACH with a chop and forearm. ACH with more chops. ACH with an Irish whip and forearm. Cross with a cartwheel elbow and a springboard cross body. Cross with a double stomp to the back and a running boot for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and ACH sends Cross to the apron. ACH with a kick and a leg sweep. ACH drop kicks Cross to the floor and then he hits a pescado. ACH sends Cross back into the ring and he goes up top. Cross gets to the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but ACH sends Cross to the mat. ACH with an enzugiri and a suplex for a near fall. ACH with a forearm and Cross with a punch. They continue the exchange and Cross misses a clothesline, but Cross lands on his feet on a German suplex attempt. Cross with a rebound clothesline and a shooting star press for the three count.

Winner: Matt Cross

We go to Alex Hammerstone. He says we are finally here. We are at the match that you wanted. You are probably sitting in your dressing room, tying your boots and the nerves are kicking in. The sweat will come from your forehead when you get to the curtain. You are going to realize this isn’t any fairy tale fantasy where you come in and take the championship. All of your actions for the last couple months have consequences. When you stand in the ring, I want you to look in my eye and I want you to see that I am the constant.

We are take a look at footage of someone going into Richard Holliday’s locker room.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mance Warner is coming back to MLW.

We take a look at what happened between Davey Richards and Myron Reed.

Alex Kane tells Davey Richards he does not have what it takes mentally or physically. Myron says that Davey is not a big dog any more. Alex says that Davey is a little pup and he will take care of him in New York.

Match Number Three: Alex Hammerstone versus Richard Holliday (with Alicia Atout) for the MLW Men’s World Championship

They exchange punches as the match starts. Holliday with a punch when he avoids a clothesline. Hammerstone sends Holliday into the corner and he kicks and punches Holliday. Holliday with a kick and Hammerstone stets for a suplex but Holliday boxes the ears. Hammerstone with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Holliday escapes a Nightmare Pendulum and Hammerstone clotheslines Holliday over the top rope to the floor. Holliday pulls Hammerstone to the floor. Holliday puts Alicia in front of him and Hammerstone blocks a slap. While Hammerstone holds Alicia’s hand, Holliday kicks Hammerstone and hits a side Russian leg sweep on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Holliday blocks a suplex and Hammerstone sends Holliday face first into the mat. Hammerstone runs Holliday into the turnbuckles. Holliday with a sunset flip for a near fall. Holliday with a spinebuster for a near fall. Hammerstone holds his ribs. Holliday kicks Hammerstone in the chest and chokes him. Holliday with a neck breaker for a near fall. Holliday stomps on the extremities. Holliday punches the previously injured ankle. Holliday sets for a figure four leg lock but Hammerstone kicks Holliday into the corner.

Hammerstone with a back elbow and clothesline. Hammerstone with a face buster and a German suplex. Holliday with a kick and a Pedigree for a near fall. Alicia gets on the apron and distracts the referee. Holliday hits Hammerstone with one of Alicia’s shoes but he can only get a near fall. Holliday gets Hammerstone up but Hammerstone gets to his feet. Holliday almost collides with the referee but stops short. Hammerstone gets Holliday up again and when Hammerstone swings Holliday he hits the referee and the referee goes flying through the ropes to the floor.

Hammerstone with a TKO but there is no referee. Cesar Duran sends a masked referee to the ring. Holliday hits Hammerstone from behind and kicks Hammerstone. Holliday goes to the floor and gets a chair. Holiday brings the chair into the ring and the masked referee has to adjust his mask and turns away. Holliday hits Hammerstone in the ribs a few times with a chair and then he hits him in the back with the chair. Holliday hits 2008 on the chair and the original referee pulls the masked referee out of the ring to stop the count. The referees push each other and the original referee returns to the ring to do his job.

Holliday argues with the referee and the referee tells Holliday that he is in control of this match. Hammerstone sends the chair to the floor. Holliday punches Hammerstone and he Hammers Up. Holliday slaps Hammerstone and Holliday realizes he made a mistake. Hammerstone with clotheslien and then he punches the refere. Hammerstone with a uranage. Hammerstone with the Nightmare Pendulum for the three count.

Winner: Alex Hammerstone (retains championship)

After the match, Hammerstone celebrates his victory with the people of Philadelphia before he goes to the back.

We return to where Mads Krugger was taken after his match with Jacob Fatu. Krugger says Katanga and we see a man put his hand on Krugger’s shoulder.

We go to credits.
