World Series Wrestling: Phoenix Rising Day 4 Recap 

- Chelsea Green & Matt Cardona make their way to the ring to start the show, Green wants everybody in attendance to hail the deathmatch king. Cardona says that Sydney, Australia sucks and he says they have been in the country of Australia for way too long. Cardona says they came to Australia to win WSW gold and that didn’t happen, Cardona says Green got screwed over for not winning the gold and he was injured. Cardona promises to win the WSW World Title on next year's WSW tour, while Green says she’ll win the women’s gold next time as well.

Chelsea Green w/Matt Cardona vs. Tenille Dashwood

The match begins with Green attacking Dashwood before the bell rings, Dashwood fights back and she takes Green down with a head scissors takedown. Dashwood traps Green in the ropes before landing a neck breaker for a near fall, Cardona interferes and that allows Green to hit Dashwood with a code breaker for a near fall. Green knocks Dashwood out of the ring and she sends her face first into the stage, Dashwood fights back and Green nails her with some strikes. Green gets Dashwood back in the ring and Dashwood rolls her up for a two count, Green recovers and she cracks Dashwood with an enziguri. Green picks up Dashwood before nailing her with a headbutt, Cardona chokes Dashwood on the middle rope while Green distracts the ref. Green then hits Dashwood with a curb stomp into the bottom turnbuckle for a near fall, Green holds Dashwood down while landing elbow strikes. Green keeps Dashwood down still while pulling back on both arms, Dashwood gets free after hitting Green with a jaw breaker. 

Green and Dashwood have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Green misses a charge in the corner and Dashwood gets her in the tarantula. Dashwood then hits Green with a Taste Of Tenille for a near fall, Green fights back and she hits Dashwood with a flat liner for another near fall. Green looks for the unprettier and Dashwood avoids it before landing a suplex, Dashwood then hits Green with a top rope high cross body for a near fall after Cardona pulls the ref out of the ring. Cardona hits the ring and he accidentally hits Green with his arm brace, Dashwood kicks Cardona low before nailing Green with a Spotlight Kick for a three count.

Winner: Tenille Dashwood

Jack Bonza vs. Alexander Hammerstone

The match begins with Bonza attacking Hammerstone before Hammerstone could throw his shirt into the crowd, Bonza corners Hammerstone while landing some chops. Hammerstone recovers and he nails a charging Bonza with a drop kick, Hammerstone then hits Bonza with a back body drop before sending him out of the ring. Hammerstone leaps over the top rope before landing a shot on Bonza, Hammerstone follows Bonza into the crowd while landing strikes on him. Hammerstone then hits Bonza with a slam on the arena floor, Bonza gets up and Hammerstone nails him with more strikes as they head towards the ringside area. Hammerstone gets Bonza back in the ring before landing a missile drop kick, Bonza recovers and he sends Hammerstone shoulder first into the ring post. Bonza leaves the ring and he nails Hammerstone with some strikes, Bonza gets back in the ring and he nails Hammerstone with a suplex. Bonza then decides to choke Hammerstone along the middle rope, Hammerstone fights back and he nails Bonza with some chops. Hammerstone misses a charge in the corner and Bonza rolls him up for a near fall, Bonza keeps Hammerstone down before getting him in the Muta Lock.

Hammerstone gets to the ropes to break the submission and he immediately gets into a striking exchange with Bonza, Bonza ends that exchange by hitting Hammerstone with a few back breakers. Bonza follows up with a side slam on Hammerstone for a near fall, Hammerstone gets back up and he cracks Bonza with a few strikes. Hammerstone follows up by dropping a swinging Bonza with a clothesline, Bonza tries fighting back and Hammerstone nails him with an overhead release suplex, Hammerstone then lands a northern lights suplex on Bonza for a near fall. Bonza fights back and Hammerstone cracks him with an elbow strike, Hammerstone and Bonza have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Bonza ends the exchange by hitting Hammerstone with a German suplex for a near fall, Bonza looks for an ankle lock and Hammerstone escapes. Hammerstone misses a charge in the corner and Bonza follows up by landing a suplex into the corner for a near fall, Bonza looks for a pile driver and Hammerstone counters with a back body drop.

Hammerstone then sends Bonza into the corner with an exploder suplex, Hammerstone gets Bonza on the ropes and he follows him up there. Hammerstone then takes Bonza down with a superplex, Bonza spits at Hammerstone and Hammerstone gets angry. Bonza takes advantage and he gets Hammerstone in an ankle lock, Hammerstone gets free and Bonza catches him in a roll up for a near fall. Bonza then clobbers Hammerstone with a lariat followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Hammerstone recovers and he hits Bonza with a Nightmare Pendulum for a three count.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone

Trey Miguel vs. Jimmy Townsend

The match begins with Townsend and Miguel taking turns working over each other's arms, Miguel trips up Townsend before giving him the amatuer wrestling ride. Townsend and Miguel also exchange a few arm drags, Miguel backs Townsend into the corner before missing a charge into the corner, Townsend drops Miguel before landing a basement drop kick. Miguel traps Townsend in the ropes before landing a kick, Miguel sends Townsend into the top rope before landing a basement drop kick. Miguel knocks Townsend out of the ring with a rana, Townsend drops Miguel to prevent a dive and lands a slingshot splash for a near fall. Townsend follows Miguel around the ring while attacking him with strikes, Townsend drops Miguel with a back elbow strike for a near fall. Townsend keeps Miguel down while applying a chin lock to him, Miguel gets free and Townsend nails him with a spinning neck breaker for a near fall. Townsend goes for a top rope moonsault and Miguel gets out of the way, Miguel avoids some shots from Townsend before dropping him and landing a double stomp.

Miguel then hits Townsend with a back head kick followed by a modified Angle Slam for a near fall, Miguel goes to the top rope and Ben Braxton interferes to get Townsend out of the ring. Backman hits the ring to attack Miguel to cause a DQ.

Winner: Trey Miguel, by DQ

After the match, Jimmy Townsend joins Ben Braxton and the unnamed fellow in a post-match attack on Trey Miguel. The trio then wants a six man tag team match right now and the promoter hits the ring, Buddy Matthews comes out to join Trey Miguel.

Adrian, Buddy Matthews & Trey Miguel vs. Jimmy Townsend, Ben Braxton & Backman

The match begins with Matthews attacking Townsend with a knee strike, Miguel then hits a cornered Braxton with a running drop kick. Matthews traps Braxton in the corner before super kicking him alongside Miguel, Matthews and Miguel then hit Braxton with a double power bomb. Backman returns and he gets hit with a top rope high cross body from Adrian, Miguel then takes everybody out with a suicide dive. Townsend is sent back into the ring and he eats super kicks from all three opponents, Matthews then hits Townsend with Murphy’s Law and Adrian gets the three count.

Winners: Adrian, Buddy Matthews & Trey Miguel

Joey Janela vs. Mick Moretti

The match begins with a striking exchange between Janela and Moretti, Moretti ends the exchange by taking Janela down with a head scissors takedown. Moretti traps Janela in the ropes before landing a few strikes and tripping him, Moretti then hits a downed Janela with a slingshot swanton bomb for a near fall. Janela recovers and he nails Moretti with a delayed vertical suplex, Janela sends Moretti out of the ring and he follows him out there, Janela grabs a steel chair and he hits Moretti with it. Janela follows Moretti into the crowd while landing some strikes, Moretti sits Janela on a chair after landing a few strikes. Moretti then charges at Janela before popping him with a sliding punch, Moretti gets Janela back in the ring with a steel chair. Moretti nails a cornered Janela with a corner spear and enziguri, Moretti then hits Janela with a leap from the top rope for a near fall. Janela finds the steel chair and he throws it at the head of Moretti, Janela sits Moretti on the chair while landing some strikes. 

Janela keeps Moretti seated on the chair while applying a chin lock to him, Janela hits Moretti with a DDT on the chair and Moretti pops right back up. Moretti tries nailing Janela with a fisherman buster and Janela counters with another DDT on the steel chair, Janela traps Moretti in the corner while landing some strikes. Moretti seats himself on the top rope and Janela follows him up there, Janela takes Moretti down with a one man Spanish fly for a near fall. Janela leaves the ring to look for weapons and Moretti nails him with a suicide dive, Moretti gets Janela back in the ring to land a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Moretti leaves the ring and he returns with a gym mat that he places in the corner, Moretti sends Janela through the mat and Janela responds by nailing Moretti with a clothesline. Janela leaves the ring and he returns with a door, Janela sets the door up in the corner before hitting Moretti with a super kick. Janela then hits Moretti with an electric chair driver onto the door, Janela follows up by putting Moretti through the door with a brain buster for a near fall. Janela and Moretti exchange a few shots until Janela drop him with another brain buster, Janela follows up with a death valley driver on Moretti for another near fall.

Janela follows up by hitting Moretti with a piece of a broken door, Janela then hits Moretti with a pile driver for a one count. Moretti fires up and he nails Janela with a headbutt followed by multiple German suplexes, Janela ends Moretti’s momentum by hitting him with a clothesline. Moretti and Janela have a striking exchange on the ring apron, Janela ends the exchange by hitting Moretti with a death valley driver through a door that was set up on the barricade. Janela puts a door on top of Moretti before landing a top rope double stomp for a near fall, Janela gets Moretti on the top rope and he follows him up there. Moretti knocks Janela off the ropes before landing a super curb stomp for a three count.

Winner: Mick Moretti

WSW Women’s Championship: Taya Valkyrie (c) vs. Shazza McKenzie

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Valkyrie and McKenzie, Valkyrie traps McKenzie in the corner while landing a few strikes. Valkyrie backs McKenzie into the corner again while landing a few more strikes, Valkyrie drops McKenzie in the corner while stomping away on her. Valkyrie drops McKenzie in the corner again before landing a running hip attack, Valkyrie then hits McKenzie with a double knee strike for a near fall. McKenzie fights back and Valkyrie nails her with a sliding snap German suplex, Valkyrie drags McKenzie to the ring apron while landing knee strikes. McKenzie leaves the ring and Valkyrie nails her with some more strikes, Valkyrie accidentally chops the ring post and McKenzie responds by nailing her with a ton of strikes. Valkyrie recovers and she knocks McKenzie back to the arena floor, Valkyrie gets McKenzie back in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Valkyrie keeps McKenzie down while applying a chin lock to her, McKenzie gets free and she attacks Valkyrie with a bunch of strikes.

McKenzie traps Valkyrie in the ropes while landing a multitude of kicks, McKenzie goes to the top rope and she lands a high cross body for a near fall. McKenzie goes for the stunner and Valkyrie gets free before landing a spear for a near fall, Valkyrie trips up McKenzie before landing a curb stomp for another near fall. Valkyrie goes for the Road To Valhalla and McKenzie counters with a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Shazza McKenzie, your new WSW Women’s Champion

After the match, Tenilla Dashwood and other locals from the roster celebrate with Shazza McKenzie. Dashwood attacks McKenzie after the roster leaves, Dashwood gets the microphone and she talks about being a pioneer in women’s wrestling. Dashwood says she paved the way for Australians in the pro wrestling business, Dashwood says she’ll take the title from McKenzie on the next WSW tour.

All The Titles Are On The Line: Johnny Downunder (WSW World Champions), Brian Cage (WSW Tag Team Champion) & Flip Gordon (WSW Tag Team Champion) w/Taya Valkyrie vs. Alex Zayne, Mat Diamond & Robbie Eagles

The match begins with Downunder doing some work on the arm of Eagles and Eagles does the same to him, Downunder goes for a spinning neck breaker and Eagles trips him up. Downunder gets up and he nails Eagles with a series of head kicks, Downunder goes for Starship Pain and Eagles prevents that after landing his own head kicks on Downunder. Cage hits the ring and he drops Eagles before eating a head strike from Zayne, Gordon hits the ring and he cracks Zayne with a super kick. Diamond hits the ring and he nails Gordon with a drop kick, Downunder returns and he nits Diamond with a rolling Alabama slam followed by a knee strike. Eagles returns to hit Downunder with an elbow to the back of the head, Cage is back and he nails Eagles with a double underhook neck breaker. Zayne returns and he trips up Cage before landing a head kick, Gordon returns and he hits Zayne with a drop kick. Diamond then hits Gordon with a neck breaker followed by a moonsault for a near fall, Eagles and company return to triple team Gordon.

Zayne eventually drops Gordon with an assisted rana, Eagles’ team clears the ring and it is not long before they are also on the arena floor. All the members from both teams have a brawl that spills all over the arena, Cage nails Zayne with a press slam in the bleachers. Zayne leaps off the balcony on the second floor to take everybody from both teams down, Gordon gets Zayne back in the ring and Zayne face plants him. Downunder returns to hit Zayne with a rolling neck breaker, everybody hits the ring and they take turns taking each other out. Eagles hits Cage with an X-Plex for a near fall, Gordon eventually hits Eagles with a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Everybody eventually goes down again until Downunder is the only one left standing, Downunder gets a bag from Valkyrie and he dumps a bunch of dinosaur toys in the ring. Valkyrie interferes and she helps her team land a triple suplex on the other team and they fall on the toys, a striking exchange breaks out between all the competitors in the match. The exchange ends with several people eating super kicks, Cage then takes out Eagles and Diamond with a power bomb/power slam combination. 

Cage then nails Zayne with an F-5 for a near fall, Cage picks up Gordon and Eagles forces him to power bomb Gordon. Eagles and teammates triple team cage after knocking Downunder into the crowd, Zayne goes to the top rope and Downunder throws a drink at him. Gordon knocks Zayne to the arena floor before laying out Eagles, Downunder hits Diamond with a drink before Cage hits him with a buckle bomb. Cage and Gordon hit Diamond with a springboard spike pile driver for a three count.

Winners: Johnny Downunder (WSW World Champions), Brian Cage (WSW Tag Team Champion) & Flip Gordon (WSW Tag Team Champion) w/Taya Valkyrie, who retain all of their titles
