THE DEAL FOR THE HULU RIGHTS MAY GIVE US A GOOD IDEA HOW BIG COMPANIES SEE WWE NOW, WHY WON’T VINCE WALK AWAY, WHY ROCK AND CENA SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM WWE AND MORE

I know he’s Vince McMahon and he’s different from everyone on earth but why won’t he just go away while the investigation is going on? His narcissistic attitude is doing more harm than good.

You answered your own question.  He is a special little buckaroo.  I don’t know if he thinks what he did was OK or it’s just the hubris he has in not allowing anyone to tell him what to do, but after Friday’s revelations, most people in his position would voluntarily walk away while the investigation is ongoing, for sure.

Who in WWE thinks Maximum Male Models is a good idea?

Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard!  As I tweeted the other day, The WWE Board should be investigating Vince for thinking that dreck is a good idea.

Could the Board of Directors put Vince on administrative leave while the investigation continues?

It is a super complicated issue.  I guess they could attempt it but one of their main roles is to represent the shareholders and consider what their moves will do to the stock price.  In this situation, I would expect Vince to fight it.  He is the primary shareholder and could try to remove members from the Board so it could send the stock into a tailspin if they did it.  The best case scenario now we have four cases reported is for a lot more to surface, forcing Vince to do the right thing and step down.  Now, WOULD he do the right thing?  That is another question altogether but if, say 26 cases surface, the Board could move forward in removing him in an effort to protect the stock. An easy case for them to make is that it will hurt the company when TV deal negotiations begin in 2024.

Will the Vince McMahon story hurt the deal for the replays that are currently on Hulu?

You know, the replay rights may be a good indication into what negotiating the new TV deals later this year.  The idea has always been that WWE without Vince would cost it value.  We may find out that WWE WITH Vince, after these stories have broken, will cost it money.  I don’t know what will happen but I do know that big companies generally don’t like to do a big deal with someone being investigate for sexual impropriety.

If I’m Steve Austin The Rock and John Cena wouldn’t it be smart to not go within a million miles of Vince?

If I am Rock and Cena, I stay far, far away from WWE.  They have active careers in Hollywood and Vince is not good for their images at this point.  Austin?  Well, he works with WWE now so if I were him, I would honor my contract but stay off of appearing on TV.
