Wrestling Revolver “Cage Of Horrors” Recap

Impact Wrestling X Division Championship
Mike Bailey (c) vs. 1 Called Manders

The match begins with Manders shoving Bailey into the corner before landing a chop, Bailey fights back and he trades chops with Manders. Bailey then hits Manders with a rana followed by a drop kick that knocks Manders out of the ring, Manders gets Bailey out of the ring and they trade more strikes. Bailey nails Manders with a running head kick to end the exchange, Manders catches a leaping Bailey and he lawn darts him into the ring post. Manders gets Bailey back in the ring before landing an Oklahoma Stampede for a near fall, Manders traps Bailey in the ropes before choking him. Bailey gets up and he eats some more chops from Manders, Bailey fights back and Manders drops him with a back elbow strike. Bailey escapes the grasp of Manders before getting dropped with a chop, Bailey gets cornered and Manders nails him with more chops. Bailey fights back and he attacks a cornered Manders with some kicks, Bailey follows up by landing Speedball Kicks on Manders. Manders eats the kicks before dropping Bailey with a strike of his own, Bailey drops Manders by landing a kick to the midsection.

Bailey follows up by hitting Manders with a twisting splash for a near fall, Manders blocks a kick and Bailey nails him with an enziguri. Manders avoids the Ultimate Weapon to hit Bailey with a gut buster followed by a Doctor Bomb for a near fall, Manders goes for a lariat and Bailey kicks his arm before sending him out of the ring. Bailey then takes out Manders with a moonsault dive that sends them both to the arena floor, Bailey gets Manders back in the ring before Manders gets him to the ring apron. Bailey trips up Manders before landing a moonsault double knee strike, Bailey goes to the top rope and Manders nails him with a headbutt. Manders climbs the ropes and he hits Bailey with a super power slam for a near fall, Manders and Bailey have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Manders ends the exchange by dropping Bailey with a lariat for a near fall, Manders goes for another lariat and Bailey counters with a roll up followed by a penalty kick. 

Bailey then hits Manders with a moonsault double knee strike and head kick for a near fall, Manders gets up and he misses a lariat before eating a tornado head kick from Bailey. Bailey then hits Manders with the Ultimate Weapon for a three count.

Winner: Mike Bailey, still the Impact Wrestling X Division Champion

- Josh Alexander appears via a video promo stating that he is issuing an open challenge for the Impact World Championship on the September 17 Wrestling Revolver card. 

- Gail Kim makes her way to the ring and she gets the microphone, Kim says she is attending her first ever Wrestling Revolver show tonight. Kim then introduces Jessicka Havok for the next match.

Jessicka Havok vs. Allie Katch w/JT Dunn

The match begins with Katch hiding in the ropes to avoid Havok, Katch then leaves the ring to avoid Havok again. Katch tries leaving again and Havok gets a hold of her to land a shoulder block, Havok follows up by dropping Katch with a head kick. Katch gets trapped in the corner and she eats an avalanche, Dunn interferes and he drags Katch out of the ring. Havok leaves the ring and she drops Dunn before chasing Katch into the ring, Katch drops Havok with a knee strike before stomping away on her. Katch stands over Havok with landing seated sentons on her back, Katch then chokes Havok on the middle rope. Dunn interferes and he also chokes Havok on the middle rope, Havok fights back and Katch nails her with a seated senton followed by a running butt smash. Katch slaps Havok in the face after faking a face wash, Havok fights back and Katch nails her with an Eat Defeat for a near fall. Katch then goes for the Pussy Piledriver and Havok counters with a death valley driver, Dunn interferes again and Gail Kim takes him out. Katch hits Havok with a beer bottle behind the ref’s back to get a three count.

Winner: Allie Katch w/JT Dunn

Zachary Wentz vs. Blake Christian vs. Crash Jaxon vs. Gringo Loco

The match begins with Wentz and Christian nailing their opponents with super kicks, Loco and Jaxon return to attack Christian and Wentz. Loco then turns to Jaxon and he nails him with forearm strikes, Loco goes for a roll up before Jaxon looks for an elbow drop. Jaxon knocks Loco out of the ring after landing a pounce, Christian and Wentz return to knock Jaxon out of the ring. Christian then hits Wentz with a variety of kicks followed by a back suplex and a super kick, Loco returns and Christian drops him with a head scissors takedown. Loco recovers and he trips up Christian before landing a basement drop kick, Wentz returns alongside Jaxon and they exchange a few strikes. Christian returns and Wentz trips him up before landing a release German suplex, Loco hits the ring and Wentz drops him before landing a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Jaxon returns to drop Wentz before landing an elbow drop, Jaxon follows up by landing a back drop driver on Wentz. 

Christian returns to trap Jaxon in the ropes before landing a super kick and a spike rana, Loco returns and Christian meets him on the top rope. Loco knocks Christian off the ropes before landing a super cutter, Loco follows up by hitting Jaxon with a suicide dive. Wentz returns and he takes out Loco with his own suicide dive, Christian then hits Loco and Wentz with a suicide dive into reverse DDT’s on the arena floor. Jaxon returns and he takes out everyone with his own suicide dive, Jaxon grabs Wentz next and he tosses him into the crowd. Christian and Loco work together to dump Jaxon into the crowd, Christian tosses Loco into the crowd before diving over the guardrail and onto his opponents. The competitors battle throughout the crowd while Wentz climbs the scaffolding, Wentz dives off the scaffolding to take out his opponents. Christian and Wentz get back in the ring before Christian nails him with a pele kick, Loco returns and he nails Christian with a Styles Clash for a near fall. 

Wentz returns and he nails Loco with a springboard cutter, Jaxon gets back in the ring and he eats a bunch of strikes followed by a double stomp from Wentz. Jaxon avoids a cutter before hitting Wentz with a Crash Landing, Loco is on the top rope and Christian takes him down with a superplex followed by a spinning neck breaker. Christian then hits Loco with a curb stomp for a three count.

Winner: Blake Christian

Revolver World Tag Tag Team Championship
P.O.S. (Westin Blake & Steve Maclin) (c) vs. The OGK (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)

The match begins with Bennett getting Maclin in a headlock, Maclin gets free and he eats a few strikes from Bennett. Maclin recovers and he drops a charging Bennett with a back elbow strike, Blake tags in and he double teams Bennett alongside Maclin for a near fall. Bennett backs Blake into his corner before Taven tags in, Taven quickly nails Blake with a missile dropkick. Blake recovers and he nails Taven with a his own drop kick, Blake then hits Taven with a few strikes followed by an atomic drop. Bennett interferes and that leads to P.O.S. quickly clearing the ring together, Maclin and Blake then take out their opponents with suicide dives. Blake gets Taven back in the ring before tagging Maclin into the match, Bennett interferes and that allows Taven to nail Maclin with a springboard enziguri. Bennett gets Maclin out of the ring to hit him with a forearm strike, Taven then hits Maclin with a drop kick through the ropes. Taven gets Maclin back into the ring so Bennett can work him over, Blake argues with the ref while The OGK double team Maclin.

Taven nails Maclin with a slingshot splash to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Bennett tags in and he drops Maclin before applying a chin lock to him. Maclin gets free and Bennett gets him in a kimura to prevent a tag, Maclin eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Blake again argues with the ref so The OGK can double team Maclin, Taven goes for a moonsault and Maclin gets his knees up. Maclin then hits Bennett with a back suplex before tagging Blake in, Blake quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Blake picks up Taven and he power bombs him into Bennett, Blake then hits Bennett with a power slam. Maclin tags in and he nails Taven with a pedigree for a near fall, Bennett makes a blind tag and he prevents Maclin from landing a pile driver on Taven. The OGK double team Blake so Bennett can get a near fall on a pin attempt, everybody from both teams hit the ring and they all take each other out. 

Taven clears the ring before landing a suicide dive on both opponents, Bennett gets Maclin back in the ring and Taven tags in. Taven misses his dive from the top rope and Maclin traps him in the tree of woe afterwards, Blake tags in and he nails Taven with a coast to coast for a near fall. Maclin tags in and Bennett knocks Blake to the arena floor a short time later, Taven then hits Maclin with a low blow while the ref was distracted. Taven then hits Maclin with a backpack stunner for a three count.

Winners: The OGK (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), your new Revolver World Tag Team Champions

Bunkhouse Brawl:Mance Warner vs. Jake Crist w/Bobby Olson

The match begins with Crist immediately jumping Warner and dropping him with a big boot, Warner gets up and he trades more big boots with Crist. Crist and Warner have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Warner ends the exchange after nailing Crist with another big boot. Crist leaves the ring and Warner follows him out there, Warner finds a bunch of steel chairs and he tosses them all in the ring. Warner then grabs a chair and he throws it at the head of Crist, Warner also grabs doors and he gets them in the ring as well. Crist gets back in the ring and Warner follows him in there to hit him with a steel chair, Warner then choke slams Crist on the chair pile for a near fall. Warner then sets up the doors onto some steel chairs, Warner gets Crist on the top rope and he follows him up there after landing a few strikes. Warner nails Crist with a superplex through both doors for a near fall, Warner traps Crist in the corner before landing more strikes. Olson interferes and that allows Crist to throw a chair at the face of Warner, Crist gets back in the ring and he sends Warner into the corner with a chair on his throat for a near fall.

Crist follows up by nailing Warner with a tornado DDT onto a pile of chairs for a near fall, Crist and Warner take their battle to the ring apron. Crist then hits Warner with a pile driver from the ring apron through a door on the arena floor, Crist gets Warner back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Warner recovers and he sends Crist back out of the ring, Warner suplexes Crist back into the ring and onto the pile of chairs. Crist gets up and Warner nails him with a plethora of strikes, Warner then hits Crist with a pile driver onto the pile of chairs for a near fall. Warner gets a sign from a fan and he hits Crist in the head with it, Warner finds out the sign is actually a speed limit sign. Crist recovers and he nails a leaping Warner with a sit out power bomb onto the pile of chairs for a near fall, Crist grabs a broken door and he sets it up in the corner before sending Warner into it. Warner and Crist grab pieces of the broken doors and they take turns hitting each other with them, Crist hits Warner with a super kick from out of nowhere for a three count.

Winner: Jake Crist w/Bobby Olson

Dan The Dad vs. Jake Manning

The match begins with Dad getting Manning in a headlock before landing a shoulder tackle, Manning recovers and he nails Dad with a butterfly suplex. Dad fights back by hitting Manning with a jaw breaker, Dad stops a charging Manning by flicking his nose. Dad follows up by hitting Manning with a plethora of jabs, Manning sends a charging Dad to the ring apron. Dad goes to the top rope and he nails Manning with a high cross body for a near fall, Dad stands Manning up before attacking him with chops. Manning recovers to hit Dad with a side Russian leg sweep followed by a front suplex, Manning puts Dad’s glasses on before landing a sunset bomb into the corner for a near fall. Manning leaves the ring and he heads backstage before returning with a tent, Manning gets the tent in the ring and he throws Dad inside of it. Dad trips Manning before dragging him into the tent, Manning and Dad have a wild brawl inside of the tent. Dad and Manning both eventually make it out of the tent while changing pants, Manning and Dad have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring.

Manning then hits Dad with a back breaker into a flat liner, Manning throws Dad back into the tent before going to the top rope. Dad leaves the tent and Manning has no idea before making his moonsault attempt, Dad returns and he trades full nelsons with Manning before trading roll up attempts as the ref makes the three count on Dad’s pin attempt.

Winner: Dan The Dad

After the match, Damien Chambers hits the ring to attack Dan The Dad and Jake Manning. Chambers gets the microphone to insult both Dad and Manning, the ring announcer eventually drops Manning with a clothesline before pinning Chambers in an unofficial match.

- Ruby Soho makes her way to the ring and she has a microphone in hand, Soho says she wanted to make some things up to the fans tonight. Soho then reveals she has suffered an arm injury after Tay Conti’s attack this past week on AEW Dynamite, Billie Starkz interrupts and she makes her way to the ring. Starkz gets the microphone and she says that she is sorry that Soho is hurt, Starkz says that she deserved the match against Soho tonight. Starkz says she wants Heidi Lovelace instead of Soho, Starkz then says that Soho may have to get fired from another company to make the match happen. Soho slaps Starkz and she tells the ref to ring the bell.

Ruby Soho vs. Billie Starkz

The match begins with Soho nails Starkz with multiple backdrop drivers and a No Future for a near fall, Soho traps Starkz in the corner while stomping away on her. Soho traps Starkz in the corner while landing some shoulder thrusts, Soho drops Starkz before kicking her in the back. Starkz fights back and Soho cracks her with an elbow strike before sending her into the middle turnbuckle, Soho gets up and she lands a few shots on a downed Starkz. Soho goes for her other finisher and Starkz rolls her up for a near fall, Soho drops Starkz in the corner before missing a charge into that corner. Starkz drops Soho on her midsection before landing a release German suplex, Starkz continues fighting back before hitting Soho with a rebound enziguri. Starkz then hits Soho with a Gory Bomb for a near fall, Starkz climbs the ropes and she nails Soho’s injured arm with a double stomp. Starkz then hits Soho with multiple head kicks and a German suplex for a near fall, Soho rolls to the ring apron before hitting Starkz with a headbutt.

Soho then traps Starkz in the ropes before knocking her to the ring apron, Soho attacks Starkz with her cast before dropping her face first on the ring apron. Soho picks up Starkz and she gets her back into the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Soho goes to the top rope and Starkz avoids her leap. Starkz then hits Soho with a knee strike before getting rolled up for a near fall, Starkz avoids the No Future before stomping away on her injured arm. Starkz then hits Soho with a tombstone piledriver for a near fall, Starkz goes to the top rope and Soho crotches her. Soho then hits Starkz with a super No Future for a near fall, Soho then hits Starkz with a head kick for a near fall. Soho follows up with a flat liner on Starkz for a three count.

Winner: Ruby Soho

The Switchblades (Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan) vs. The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards)

The match begins with Callihan backing Edwards into the corner before getting spit on, Callihan backs Edwards into the corner again before missing a chop. Callihan gets Edwards in a headlock and Edwards gets free before tagging Richards in, The Wolves nail Callihan with some double team maneuvers. Moxley tags in and Richards gets spit on by Callihan a short time later, Richards then gets Moxley in a headlock. Richards gets free and he trades shoulder tackles with Moxley, Moxley and Richards exchange more strikes in the middle of the ring. Moxley ends the exchange before nailing Richards with a shoulder tackle, Callihan tags in and he double teams Richards alongside Moxley. Edwards also gets in the ring and a brawl breaks out between both teams and that spills all over the arena, Callihan battles Edwards while Moxley battles Richards. Callihan gets Edwards back in the ring after biting his hand, Callihan misses a charge in the corner and Richards interferes to hit him with a dragon screw leg whip. Moxley argues with the referee while The Wolves work over Callihan, Richards stomps away on the injured ankle of Callihan. 

Moxley again argues with the ref while The Wolves work over Callihan, Edwards tags back in and he nails Callihan with more dragon screw leg whips. Richards tags back in and he applies a figure four leg lock to Callihan, Callihan eventually reverses the hold and Edwards tags in to attack a downed Callihan. The Wolves look to double team Callihan and Callihan fights back to take them both down, Moxley tags in and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Moxley traps Richards in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Richards fights back and Moxley nails him with a clothesline for a near fall. Moxley looks for some elbow strikes and Edwards attacks him from behind, Richards nails Callihan with a penalty kick from the ring apron before sending Moxley to the arena floor. Edwards then takes out Moxley with a suicide dive, Moxley is sent back into the ring and he battles against both of The Wolves. The Wolves overcome Moxley and they double team him to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Callihan gets Edwards out of the ring and he sends Edwards into the barricade.

Moxley blocks a kick from Richards before Callihan returns to attack both of The Wolves, Moxley and Callihan nail The Wolves with double pile drivers for a pair of near falls. Moxley and Callihan attack The Wolves with a ton of elbow strikes, Moxley gets Richards in a rear naked choke and Richards taps out.

Winners: The Switchblades (Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan)

Cage Of Horrors MatchThe Crew (Swerve Strickland, Rich Swann & Matthew Palmer) vs. The Unit (JT Dunn, Tyler Matrix & Logan James) w/Phil Stamper

The match begins with Dunn and Swann as each team's first participants, Swann starts the action by exchanging strikes with Dunn. Dunn sends Swann out of the ring before nailing him with more strikes, Dunn finds a door and he sends up up on the guardrail. Swann fights back and he winds up sending Dunn through the door, the next entrant is Logan James of The Unit and he immediately battles Swann in the ring. Swann corners James before landing an enziguri, Swann leaves the ring and he throws some steel chairs back into it. James trips up Swann before smashing a chair into his face, Dunn returns and he sets some chairs up on the barbed wire fence. The next entrant is Matthew Palmer and he immediately goes after James, Palmer quickly drops James with a reverse DDT before dropping Dunn on top of him. Swann nails James with a top rope double stomp while Palmer sends Dunn into the top turnbuckle, Swann grabs a steel chair and he attacks his opponents with it. 

Swann attacks his opponents while Palmer adds onto the weapons already on the barbed wire fence, the next entrant is Tyler Matrix and he throws powder into the eyes of Swann. Matrix then hits Swann with a DDT on the entrance ramp, Matrix and James double team Palmer while Dunn takes a breather. Dunn grabs a wrench and he stabs Palmer with it, Swann returns and he eats a super kick from Dunn. The final entrant in the match is Swerve Strickland and an all out brawl breaks out between everybody in the match, Strickland nails James with a back breaker before nailing Matrix with a pump kick. Strickland eventually nails James and Matrix with a double flat liner, Dunn returns and Strickland hits him with a brain buster. The battle between the teams spills to the arena floor, Strickland finds a table and he sets it up on the entrance ramp. Matrix climbs to the top rope and Palmer meets him up there, Dunn attacks Palmer and he gets him off the ropes. Palmer manages to suplex Dunn out of the ring and through a barbed wire table, Strickland slams James before going to the top rope. 

Matrix meets Strickland on the ropes and they exchange some strikes, Matrix knocks Strickland off the ropes and onto the barbed wire fence with stacks of chairs on it. Swann battles James in the ring before Matrix returns to join in on the battle, Palmer returns to the ring and he helps Swann against Matrix and James. Palmer nails James with multiple super kicks before eating a forearm strike, James climbs the barbed wire fence before Palmer attacks him. Palmer and James leap over the barbed wire cage wall and onto their opponents, Dunn grabs Strickland and he sends him into the barbed wire cage wall. Dunn sets up a barbed wire door on some chairs that were in the ring, Strickland returns to help Swann against Dunn. Strickland and Dunn battle on the ropes until Dunn hits Strickland with a super tombstone pile driver through a barbed wire door for a near fall, Swann grabs a broken part of the barbed wire door and he throws it at Dunn. Swann grabs some barbed wire and he attacks his opponents with it, Swann climbs the ropes and James kicks him in the head.

Swann knocks his opponents off the ropes before putting himself and Matrix through the barbed wire fence, Strickland climbs the scaffolding while James double stomps Swann on the barbed wire fence. James grabs a barbed wire door and he places it in the corner, Palmer returns and he sits James and Matrix on a chair together. Strickland leaps off the scaffolding to land a super Swerve Stomp onto James and Matrix for a near fall, Dunn returns and he drops Palmer with a series of strikes. Allie Katch interferes and Palmer hits her with a death valley driver through a barbed wire door, Stamper hits the ring and he chokes Palmer with barbed wire. Swann returns and he nails Dunn with a super kick, Swann sends Dunn out of the ring while Strickland gets a table into the ring. Swann attacks Dunn and Dunn escapes by climbing the scaffolding, Swann follows Dunn up the scaffolding. Strickland sets up the table in the middle of the ring, Swann and Dunn exchange some strikes on the top of the scaffolding. Strickland climbs the scaffolding and he kicks Swann right in the balls, Strickland throws Swann off the scaffolding and through the table in the ring. Matrix then gets the pin on a downed Swann.

Winners: The Unit (JT Dunn, Tyler Matrix & Logan James) w/Phil Stamper

After the match, a video plays on the big screen saying Killer Kross will be in action on September 17.
