Spotlight Match: Paris Van Dale vs “The God Queen” Delmi Exo

Ben Folds Five has a song about this, I think. Paris is the cowardly heel. Delmi is the aggressive bully. They end up trading hands, Paris tries the split stunner. Double knees and a split leg drop for two. Delmi with a suplex and bridge for two. Paris fights out of an electric chair, split boot to the head. Delmi tries the electric chair but Paris keeps sliding off. Delmi with a gutwrench suplex for two. They trade rolls ups. Paris catches Delmi on the ropes…hangma/ ddt for two. Exo and Paris trading shots, the ref tries to break it up. Delmi hits a closed fist over the ref, Paris is staggered and a package piledriver does her in.

Winner: Delmi Exo

We have a fired up crowd for Wrestling Open! Rich Palladino is your announcer. Paul Crockett is your commentator. It’s time for tournament action! Let’s goooooo!!!

Match 1: The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brett Ryan Gosselin w/ his trusty steed Clip Clop vs Team H20 (Austin Luke & Reid Walker) (Saturn & Kronus Eliminator Cup Opening Round)

This week I learned it’s GOSSELIN and not GOSLING. Whoops! BRG has a finger gun, Austin snaps the fingers. Kneedrop backbreaker as Walker tags in. Crowd hot for H20. Walker with a moonsault for two! Walker caught taunting Stetson and BRG hits a double chop! Stetson in and the crowd hates him. Long delay suplex on Walker. Luke makes the tag but the ref misses it. Big powerslam to Walker. Backflip out of danger; Luke in! Stetson tossed, BRG taking a flurry of forearms. Somersault over the corner wipes out Stetson! Fisherman’s back suplex for two! Codebreaker German double stomp combo! Stetson Drops an elbow! Walker ejects Stetson. BRG gets a boot up, Luke tries a rollup but Stetson lariats him in the back of the head! Austin Luke is RIP and Walker can’t get into the ring in time to save it.

Winners: The Stetson Ranch

Match 2: “The Human Monster Truck” Perry Von Vicious vs “The Shot Caller” Pedro Dones

Dones on the mic and says the truck don’t move with a buster wheel. He’s coming for Perry’s ankle. Perry overpowering Dones early. Big tosses but Dones dodges a boot and introduces his leg to the apron and post. Time to soften up that ankle with stomps. Ddt to the foot. Perry is mad and eating punches, big shot to Pedro drops him. Pedro escapes a powerbomb, kick out the leg. He grabs the ankle and twists it down to the mat and Perry taps out. Strong showing.

Winner: Pedro Dones

Pedro back on the mic. He reminds everyone that he backs up the words that he says. He calls out Miracle Generation and tells them to watch their backs.

Match 3: “The one man boy band” Eric James vs “The Last Entertainer” Encore

It takes talent to sing “I want it that way” in about 15 different keys. Real talent. Huge pop for the last entertainer! James getting caught early and flustered by Encore’s rampant gyrations. James finally lands a couple good shots, slingshot sunset flip for two! Big chops in the corner. Tiger bomb for two! Encore out with an enziguri! Spine buster for two! Fighting over a suplex…Encore lands! He goes for the finish but too much sauce on the showmanship, James rolls him up with a handful of tights to steal the pin!

Winner: Eric James

Match 4: “Iron” Rip Byson vs SLADE

SLADE is coming off that hellacious cinder block collision this past Monday at Uncharted Territory. SLADE comes running and Byson boots him outside. SLADE getting handled on the floor but rallying back to trade through the crowd. SLADE eats a hard chop in the chairs but SLADE chokes free and slams Rip to the floor boards. Byson has the upper hand back in the ring until SLADE hits an exploder to the chuckles and a hard lariat for two. Rip with a scoop slam driver! Kick out! SLADE choking Rip again, spinning backfist and a huge chokeslam puts Ripper away.

Winner: SLADE

SLADE wants the microphone? He is a man of few words. “Americanrana. Try and kill me, Eddie Kingston.” OH MY.

Brother Greatness is out here. He says turns sinners into saints. He has new members of his congregation? It’s the Even Stevens…dressed as altar boys. OHNOOOOOOO. XD

Johnny Santos is out here too! He has dance partners too! And we love them!

Match 5: The Church of Greatness (Brother Greatness, Steven Somerset & Stephen Azure) vs Johnny Santos & Hispanic Mechanics (Jos A & Jos B)

The crowd is soooooooo pumped for Santos and the Jos Duo. A wants to Macarena and gets BG in a dance. Dancing is probably a sin. Santos in and gets the altar boys into the scuffle but they double team the dancing don. BG with a hard forearm to the face. Santos launches the Stevens together, big cannonball! Enziguri and a Tag to B! BG eating hard shots and a famouser! They go for a triple team but the Evens pull out the Mechanics. Santos dropkicks the Stevens but Greatness rolls him up and gets the win for the Church! And the Lord too, I guess.

Winners: Church of Greatness

Santos and the Mechanics do the Macarena before they leave. This act is ridiculously over.

Ray Jaz is out here. He’s still undefeated and mad that the crowd continues to boo him. We don’t deserve Ray Jaz. No one deserves to wrestle Ray Jaz. We don’t deserve to hear him. His tip? Actions speak louder than words. Jaz walks off without participating in a match. This is the best. A Happy Jerzday indeed!

Match 6: “Big Bacon” Brad Hollister vs “Da Big Boofa” Dezmond  Cole

Tyree Taylor is hanging at commentary with Paul Crockett. The crowd is still eager to remind Hollister that he went to sleep a few weeks back against Alec Price. Da Big Boofa starting hot but Bacon lands a huge senton to take control. He starts blaming specific people in the crowd for each shot he gives to Cole. Big body slam and a running elbow. Cole catches Brad distracted by Tyree at the table for a superkick. Bacon catches a cross body to a powerslam for two. He wraps up the arm and says he’s going to wreck the limb like he did to Tyree. Brad stomps him out but Cole escapes and hits a swanton for two! Boofa tries a spinning kick but Bacon just headbutts him. He catches Cole with a big German. Second rope pop down jackhammer for the win!

Winner: Brad Hollister

Tyree on the mic. Bacon’s time is up. He wants Hollister now. Bacon says it’s time…for Tyree to realize he had his chance but he failed. Bacon runs to the back and Tyree gives chase.

Match 7: Armani Kayos vs “The Prize” Alec Price

The Northeast Beast is back and he’s wearing a jersey with the same number that Ray Jaz normally does? Hmmmm… anyways, Price is running Kayos over, and needs a breather. Kayos with a heavy slap and Price boots his head off. Big facebuster! Kayos kicks the rope into Price’s bits. Corkscrew splash for one. Kayos laying into Price but a huge slap and running Euro lean uppercut, with a nod to Biff Busick. Kayos with a fake out and pretends to be hit low. He uses the opportunity to actually hit Price low and land the rack attack. The ref catches his feet on the ropes and Kayos is furious. Trading pin attempts. Head kick! Reverse spike ddt and Kayos is laid flat. Better than I thought this might be, Kayos had me worried for a couple of spots there that he might actually take down the Prize.

Winner: Alec Price

Match 8: “Platinum” Max Caster vs “Light It Up” Landon Hale

Hale is fired up but Caster has to talk. He wanted to acknowledge that everyone popped when Hale got announced for the challenge. Caster is being wildly respectful right until he backslaps him and runs Hale into the post. Big back suplex. He goes for the Mic Drop….right into the knees! Landon gets a two count! Caster with a hip toss and goes for the figure four…Hale rolls him up! Hale with a head scissor! Max kicks the leg and slams the foot to the mat. Suplex and a choke from the Platinum one. A superkick catches Hale but he hits a Spanish Fly to stagger Caster. Heavy clothesline, flip out of a suplex….backbreaker! Corner 619! Springboard cross body for two as we hit the five minute mark! Caster escapes the Light It Up. Hale with a flurry of palm strikes….handspring stunner! Blue Thunder bomb for two! Hale lands bad on an up and over, Max dropkicks the knee. He fights to the figure four and Hale is forced to tap out. Awwwwww. Great showing from Hale, who definitely had the crowd behind him through this. For a moment there, I believed he might pull it off.

Winner: Max Caster

Caster grabs his briefcase and smashes it into Hale’s face. He reapplies the figure four and Hale is forced to tap again and again before Caster leaves him to limp out of the venue. Boo Max Booooooo!

Rich Palladino brings out The Haven. Palladino brings them out to acknowledge how good their match against Miracle Generation was last week. Rich wants to know what’s next…the Even Stevens (as altar boys still) are out here and looking for a “higher purpose”. We shouldn’t praise the Haven, we should praise the church of greatness. Next week, they collide!

Match 9: Brick City Boyz (JCruz & Victor Chase) vs Locked & Loaded (50 Cal & Dan Barry) (Saturn & Kronus Eliminator Cup Quarterfinals)

Dan Barry controls Victor Chase early, expertly twisting his arm up and hitting him plenty. Great fake out kick and dropkick to the outside. 50 Cal in and controls JCruz. Chase tries to interfere and Brick City gets double armdragged. It is DEAFENING in here for a moment. L&L keeping the heat on Cruz, Chase finds an opening to blindside 50 and it’s time to twist that steel a little more. They make 50 hit the splits. Chase with a Michanoku driver. Dan makes the save! 50 hits an enziguri, Chase prevents the tag…but 50 hits a belly to belly! Tag to Dan! Detective’s gone wild! He tries a head scissor but Barry gets thrown into Cruz! Brick City ejected! Dan Barry with a somersault to the outside! Cru fighting out of the corner….caught with a Alabama slam/Frogsplash combo for a close two. L&L going for the kill. Cruz fights out, Chase and Barry thrown off the apron and collided with those horrible metal stairs we have here. 50 with a flying clothesline to Cruz! German with a bridge for two! Chase back in…it’s a four way scrap! Dan Barry fighting them off and hits a ddt cutter combo on Brick City. Bricks catch Barry with a corner spear and send him flying. Cruz with a discus lariat to 50 Cal. They Hit the Bricks on 50 Cal and advance to the semifinals!

Winners: Brick City Boyz

Main Event: “The Young Prodigy” Marcus Mathers vs “The Big Boy from Brooklyn” Tyree Taylor

Marcus was supposed to fight Tony Deppen originally but Tyree stepped up when Deppen had to bow out this week. Brad Hollister is at the commentary station. Marcus lets Tyree size him up. Taylor with a low five of respect before he tosses the kid to the buckles. Tyree keeping the power on as Marcus tries to leverage the big man down unsuccessfully. He runs circles around Taylor who just waits and cuts Mathers down with a chop. Marcus finally with a good apron kick…he tries a suicide dive but gets uranaged for that. apron splash to the kidneys! Heavy kicks to the ribs, this is all Tyree. Huge abdominal claw! Seated double chop to the abs. Tyree wraps up a body scissor and beats the snot out of Mathers. Tyree comes running, Mathers tries a sunset flip but Tyree picks him up to a snap powerslam. Tyre slapping Mathers back to life and begs for a fight. Marcus unloading chops and strikes! Kick out! Marcus quickly applies a triangle choke….Tyree sinks into it. Marcus dropping elbows to the head! Tyree picks him up….one arm sky high powerbomb!!!! Tyree Wins!!! This was awesome.

Winner: Tyree Taylor

The crowd is cheering for Marcus Mathers as Ray Jaz blasts out of the curtain. He enters the ring without a word and goes right at Mathers. Jaz with a double leg takedown and a full mount pummel. He applies the Jazmission as the crowd says “Ray Jaz is a piece of s***!” Jaz let’s it go and heads to the back as the show ends!
