MLW FUSION REPORT: RICHARDS VS KANE, HAMMERSTONE/HOLLIDAY NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We take a look at NZO and Jacob Fatu since they will be facing off soon.

Jacob Fatu is in the back with his head wrapped up. He says you don’t try to rock up on Uce like that. You don’t embarrass him in front of his family. His son was in the crowd. Fatu says you might be from the block or the hood, but you ain’t never run into a Polynesian Samoan before.

Real 1 takes the mic. He says his name is the one that everyone knows. He says you should be saying you are doing terrible because you are in Philthadelphia. He says that everyone is fat like the Samoans. He says he does not care who you are, I will tell you like I told Ricky Morton. Morton got his ass kicked like the Eagles for one ring. He says he does not like Samoans. If you got beef with you, I will put a kobe on your grill.

Match Number One: Real 1 versus Lince Dorado

They lock up and they go around the ring. Real with a side head lock and he takes Lince to the mat. Real holds on when Lince tries to send Real off the ropes. Lince with a top wrist lock into a side head lock and take down. Lince with a knee bar and Real gets to the ropes to force a break. Real with a waist lock and Lince with a standing switch. Real with a wrist lock. Lince with a reversal and drop toe hold into a hammer lock.

Real with a reversal and snap mare. Lince goes for the leg but Real gets to the ropes to force a break. Lince with a side head lock and Real backs Lince into the ropes and pulls Lince’s head into the ropes. Real with a slam followed by a leg drop and reverse chin lock. Real with an Irish whip and Lince floats over and hits a head scissors take down. Lince mocks real and Real goes to eh floor when Lince moves. Lince with a suicide dive and then he goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Lince misses a splash into the corner. Lince goes up top and Real pushes Lince off the turnbuckles to the floor. Lince holds his shin as we go to commercial.

We are back and Real drops Lince on the guardrail and then he gets Lince up and runs him into the ring post. Lince rolls back into the ring and Real with kicks in the corner and then he chokes Lince. Real with a running shoulder into the corner and he kicks Lince in the ribs. Real with an Irish whip but Lince floats over and Real goes shoulder first into the ring post. Lince with a German suplex and a chop into the corner. Lince with an Irish whip and chops. Real with a kick and a DDT off the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Real goes up top and Lince with a punch and press slam. Lince with a handspring cutter and he goes to the turnbuckles for three moonsaults but he misses the third one when Real moves. Lince tries to pull Real out of the corner but Real with a kick to the ding ding followed by Sole Food for the three count.

Winner: Real 1

We take a look back at the Weapons of Mass Destruction match and we will get an update on Mads Krugger.

Dave Marquez is with MLW Featherweight Champion Taya Valkyrie.

Taya is asked if she is taking the title to other promotions. Taya says it is incredible to be the first MLW Women’s champion. Wherever you are, come find me and take it one on one with the Queen of Queens.

We take a look back at the announcement of the Bomaye Fight Club 20 minute challenge.

Next week, Alex Hammerstone defends the MLW World Championship against Richard Holliday.

We see Alicia Atout walking in the back and random interviewer interrupts Alicia during a phone call to ask about next week’s match for the MLW World Championship. She says she is the interviewer, not the interviewee. She says that Alex and the Von Erichs better be ready for anything.

We take a look at the rules for the Thrilla in Philla Match.

National Openweight Champion and Mr. Thomas come to the ring and they have something to say before the match.

Alex says he is the greatest fighter in the history of MLW. Kane says they are for the people. He says he is a man of the people. He says he has a treat for everyone. There will be a 20 minute prize fight for the National Openweight Championship. Alex says they put out a challenge to the best of the best, but it is quiet out there. Nobody has answered the challenge because nobody wants this. Philly has gone soft.

Thomas says nothing is hard about Philadelphia. Soft like the rolls for your cheesesteaks. Soft like the 76ers. Soft like the Eagles.

Kane wants to know who will stand up and join the hunt and punch their ticket to Suplex Island?

Davey Richards’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Match Number Two: Alex Kane (with Mr. Thomas) versus Davey Richards in the Thrilla in Philla Challenge for the National Openweight Championship

They lock up and Kane with a side head lock. Richards with a rollup into an ankle lock but Kane escapes and goes to the floor. Kane gets back into the ring and they go for a test of strength. Kane gets the advantage. Richards with a wrist lock itno an am bar. Davey works on the arm but Kane with an arm bar. Kane with a wrist lock. Kane keeps Richards on the mat. Davey with a kick to escape. Richards makes sure that Thomas stays away from the ring. Kane goes for the leg and he applies a waist lock. Richards with a wrist lock and he wraps the arm in the rope. Richards kicks the arm and Kane goes to the floor. Richards kicks Kane in the chest and then he breaks the referee’s count. Richards with another kick to the chest and he stops the count. Davey kicks Kane on a third side of the ring and he breaks the count for the fourth kick and he does it.

Davey goes for a running kick against the apron but Kane blocks the kick and he hits a back drop driver onto the apron. Kane goes to the apron and hits a splash on the apron. Kane gets back into the ring and he waits for Richards to get back into the ring. Kane kicks Richards in the arm. Richards finally gets back into the ring and Kane with punches. Kane with a back breaker on his shoulder. Richards tries to Irish whip Kane but his shoulder gives out. Kane with a neck breaker. Kane goes for a power bomb but Richards drops down to block it. Richards with a back drop but Kane goes for a sunset flip. Richards stays on his feet and hits a double stomp. Kane with a forearm. Richards with a forearm and Kane fires back. They continue the exchange.

Richards with kicks but Kane with an Irish whip. Kane misses a splash into the corner. Richards with a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes. Richards goes up top and misses a double stomp and rolls through. Richards with a rollup and he goes for a trailer hitch and locks it in. Kane is able to get to the ropes and forces a break. Richards sets for a suplex but Kane blocks it so Richards with a knee. Kane goes for a suplex and Richards lands on his feet. Richards with a round kick to the temple and then he hits a Saito suplex for a near fall. Richards goes for a suplex but Kane goes for a suplex and Richards blocks it. Richards with elbows. Kane catches Richards on a handspring move and Kane with a German suplex. Kane with an Olympic slam for a near fall.

Richards with an elbow to the back of th head. Kane with a boot when Richards charges into the corner. Richards stops Kane on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex. Kane with punches to stop Richards but Richards blocks a forearm and Davey with head butts and he hits the superplex. Both men are down as we go to commercial.

We are back and both men are back on their feet. Richards with a forearm and Kane fires back. They go back and forth. Kane with a rolling elbow but Richards with a back heel kick. Richards with a rollup into an ankle lock. Kane kicks Richards away bu Richards with a kick to the chest. Richards with a brainbuster for a near fall. Richards with an ankle lock. Kane tries to get to the ropes but Richards pulls him back into the center of the ring. Richards grapevines the leg and then he applies a figure four ankle lock and he kicks Kane but Kane holds on as the bell rings.

Draw (Kane retains championship)

After the match, Richards offers his hand to Kane, but Thomas attacks Richards from behind. Thomas kicks Richards and he gives Kane the title belt. Thomas with more kicks to Davey. Kane limps over to Davey and he kicks Davey while Thomas chokes Richards.

Myron Reed makes his way to the ring with a chair and that forces Thomas and Kane from the ring.

Reed winks at Thomas and Kane and then hits Richards in the ribs with the chair.

Kane and Thomas enter the ring and all three men kick Davey. Reed says something to Richards and punches him in the head. Reed kicks Richards and Thomas does the same. Kane puts Davey’s arm in the chair and Reed with a double stomp off the turnbuckles onto the arm.

Thomas gives Reed a Bomaye Fight Club jacket.

Officials finally make their way to the ring to check on Richards.

We see Krugger in a poorly lit room and we see him look at himself in a mirror and he is not happy.

We go to credits.
