Is there any WWE star who wrote a book that you think needs a sequel?
Off the top of my head, Edge. His book came out in 2004. Think of everything he's accomplished since then as a performer. There is a hell of a story to be told.
Whatever happened to the film adaptations of Mick Foley's memoir and his novel Tietam Brown?
Development hell, like a lot of other projects. If I was WWE, I'd be trying to sell off the Foley memoir to a Peacock or a Netflix.
Why did Mick Foley's son quit WWE?
Why does anyone leave a job? He wanted out in order to pursue other opportunities. I haven't heard particulars beyond that he gave notice and exited. He wasn't fired or demoted or anything like that.
What did you think of Christian's heel turn in AEW?
I liked it and I've liked his promos since. There's a lot of the spirit of the classic Mr. Wrestling II turning on Magnum TA angle involved here and thus far, Cage has been a great heel. He mocked Jungle Boy's father for being dead, so they are going for actual heat here and I'm curious to see how far this can go and whether they can use the storyline to make Jungle Boy an even bigger star. I've seen some really angry emails about what he's said. If AEW can get people to pay to see Cage get his ass kicked, that's the point of having a heel in the first place.
What venue would you like to see WWE or AEW run?
Yankee Stadium.
