Given all the legal and financial issues that led to bad feelings with Dixie Carter, were there any issues with her being at Slammiversary?
No. First, she was invited to be there. Secondly, all those issues are in the past. Third, we heard from a few people, including some that weren't happy during their time in the company when she was in charge, that they felt it was nice to see her. For many, it's water under the bridge now.
Have you heard of Carter getting more involved with Impact again?
No. Not at all. That doesn't mean something couldn't happen down the line. I believe she is still a minority owner, so she will always have an interest in how the company is doing, either way.
Has there been any talk of AEW or Impact running NYC anytime soon?
AEW has Grand Slam 2 on 9/21 at Arthur Ashe Stadium. I haven't heard of Impact planning to run the NYC area but they could always run Melrose Ballroom again if they wanted.
Any chance of Bound for Glory in NYC?
I specifically asked about that and was told no but was also told that someone from NYC would be able to drive to BFG if they end up where they are currently planning to run in the Northeast.
Do you think it's lame for announcers in AEW to bring up Eddie Guerrero? He never worked there.
Announcers bring up historical figures all the time in wrestling and others sports broadcasts. Guerrero was one of the best of all time. It would be lame to IGNORE him.
